Small rooms but not smaller as advertised. Everything that was advertised was there and more. Very friendly staff and awesome location. No real rocking from the water. Very unique stay living up to expectations and better. Good breakfast as well.

Toilets are a bit loud.

I have sailed/owned my own Turkish gullet and spent seven months sailing around Turkey and Gteece. So I really enjoyed staying and sleeping on this beautifully preserved yacht. The room was very spacious. Lovely desk, chair, and very comfortable bunk bed. Bathroom, had been modernised, and was very roomy. Lovely, they have kept many of the original features, such as portholes, timber and brass. So much history, and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the yacht. Excellent breakfast, water always available on level 2, I think. Watched the sun set, two nights in a row. Plenty of seating upstairs, and picture perfect views. Central location, luggage storage available and just a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Malardrottningen. Felt very safe aboard, everything was excellent. The only one complaint, was a kettle would have been very handy. Maybe I misread that, the rooms came with one. Anyway, sad to leave. Katie G ☺️ From Australia..🇦🇺

Nice experience living on the ship. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the historic part of the town and shopping mile. The metro station and bus station are 5 minutes away. I am not recommending using the bus because of the very unfriendly pavement for the luggage wheels while transporting from the station to the hotel. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices in a relatively small space. Thumbs up to the staff. The room was big enough for sleeping and occasional work but just for one person. The bathroom is small and still well organized, but you must know you are on the boat and in the cabin. My cabin had a wonderful view of the bay. Have some doubts about using a ladder to the upper bed if two of not pretty young people are in the room. I was luckily alone :-) Recommend this hotel when you want to hike through the Stockholm for some days,

Unsealed window with a noticeable gap between the window and frame. The glass was broken, but not too disturbing.

Breakfast was fantastic as well as the complimentary filtered water (both still and sparkling) available in the lobby near our room. Staying on the boat was a real treat and we loved it—its a good location to walk in and out of town and to explore the nearby old town. This is a very unique stay that I recommend!

The bathroom was recently renovated, water pressure was strong and hot, and the beds were clean and comfortable but there was a mildew smell that was fairly strong in our room—I'm not allergic to such things and honestly it didn't bother me. It may be part of the "old boat" vibe. Really can't complain:)

The location is superb, right in the centre of Stockholm, but in a quiet spot. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within easy reach. A wander through Gamla Stan to catch the Djurgarden ferry, and before we knew it we were at the Abba museum! The cabin we stayed in was small, but that is part of the charm, it felt like stepping back in time. And it added to the nautical theme of our stay in Stockholm. The food was great, lovely breakfast and great dinner. The bar and restaurant area was lovely to sit in.

The virtual key system on our phones stopped working after the first night, so we swapped for key cards, which worked fine.

Totally recommended: Excellent location, right next to metro station (there's also a small supermarket there), a few blocks away from all shops and cafes/restaurants of the old city center. Very competitive price, value for money. A very nice experience living in a ship, i was surprised how stable it was. Very kind personnel, all the ladies that were taking care of the breakfast were very efficient, fast and kind. I appreciated the everyday cleaning and the check out until 12 (most hotels set it at 10am in the post covid period :/). Last but not least, how convenient the drinking water dispenser near the rooms was: cold still and sparkling water, available all the time! Great offer from the hotel!

Only one small issue i had, it was not easy to regulate the water at shower. The temperature was fluctuating constantly, had to regulate it non stop. A small tip for the guests, the room key card needs to be placed on the locker center for several seconds in order to be accepted, its not like the typical fast swipe we are used to do with credit card.

The staff were friendly and helpful, very accommodating. The breakfast was good. The location is great. The option to leave your luggage was very convenient. Sleeping on a yacht in the middle of the city was fun, and the views are lovely. I was happy with my choice.

The bathroom is very small, to the point you have to sit sideways on the toilet. The cabin is very narrow, and the bunk bed is small, I even bumped my head quite badly with a wooden board at the head of my bed. There was no convenient plug to charge the phone overnight, so they had to be left on the floor in the middle of the cabin.

Location, definitely great! Experience on the Yacht Hotel, great! Breakfast was very good too, so was dinner on the boat. A lovely place to stay at if visiting Stockholm. Cabins are of course limited in space, but what do you expect on a yacht? :) sleeping on bunk beds was also an experience!

Room tidying could have been a bit better, but otherwise all was great! Beds were not done on one day and the shower room was not cleaned on another day. Perhaps room attendance was not part of the service? Clean towels provided daily.

We chose this place because we needed a cheap, convenient accommodation for the night and this one also included the breakfast. However, this place was beyond expectations for its design, location, comfort (despite the super compact room), the breakfast, and the overall experience for the money that we paid was a positive surprise. In our reservation it said shared bathroom, but in reality we got a tiny private bathroom, which in our opinion was better than sharing. There is something else to consider: it is a boat! Those very sensitive to the subtle movement may not like it. We could feel it, but it didn't disturb, and the whole boat thing was quite singular and characterful, so we rate it as positive.

Just two details. The first is that the hotel insists quite a lot in doing the online check-in to save time and get the digital key, but the app for the digital key wasn't working and I still appreciate some human interaction for the check-in and to get the key. The second is that the luggage room is open and accessible to everyone in the hotel, maybe a camera could increase the sense of security. One extra observation that didn't affect us but it is worth considering, being a boat means narrower corridors and doors and poorer accessibility overall.

Staff was excellent; Leo the bartender was super friendly - and helpful. The morning breakfast was consistently good. The shower pressure was also a plus. And the water station by the door was considerate and came in good use multiple times. Appreciated the fans that were available.

The room was a bit tight for two people. And also - there was no explanation of the spaces on the ship - the upper deck, and how to get there. I saw great pictures on line - but no understanding how to get to some of the useable spaces once I was on the yacht.
