The captain's cabin was very cosy, the heating worked well (which was a big plus, given it was -16 outside!). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was perfectly clean. A short walk to Mariatorget, and a lovely spot on the water. The Thai restaurant on board was excellent, we ate there two out of four days!

There was a mix up in communication, we were told that late check-out (1pm) would be possible for a fee (which we were fine with), this was somehow not logged, so we were told by housekeeping at 11:15 that it was not possible, and that we needed to be out by 12. Happily, they did not charge us for this, however.

- Super clean sheets and towels - The crew was very nice and helpful :) - Excellent location - It was quite an adventure itself to sleep on a boat - big kitchen available for guests - very good shower water pressure - this seems to be a problem in so many accomodations; I have pretty long and thick hair, and rinsing the shampoo out of it with low water pressure is a nightmare, so, a big plus here! - easy room access - hairdryer available at the reception desk - fantastic option for budget travellers - we didn't use these facilities, but you can order breakfast or have a dinner in the restaurant on the main boat, which is a plus of course

- it wasn't super inconvenient, but bear in mind that the walls are on the thinner side, and if people in other rooms behave loudly, you'll probably hear it - could do with more mugs, knives, forks and spoons in the kitchen, but we managed of course :) - the bathrooms could do with a little bit of refurbishing, but were clean and everything worked, so it's not a super big deal

We stayed Rygerfjord III. The staff is very nice, they made sure we had a room with big windows. The rooms are not huge but very clean, as the toilets/shower/kitchen area. 15 minutes walk from GamlaStan, so perfectly situated. Thai restaurant on top of the main boat really nice. Amazing views from the bedroom itself and from the deck. Would definitely recommend the place !

If anything, the bedrooms doors make quite a bit of noise if you don't accompany their closing.

Extremely friendly and informative staff, very comfy beds, the view from our room was exceptional. The kitchen was spacious and I liked that there were lots of outdoor seating areas. I felt very safe here. It was clean and the facilities were great - I didn’t queue once for the toilet or shower room.

The room was quite noisy, there was some kind of pipe system in the corner of the room which made a whirring noise every 5 minutes or so, and when someone was using the shower it became every 10 seconds, so I was glad I had earplugs. The baggage storage was also extremely full, I had to climb over bags to be able to get to mine on the shelf.

The location is absolutely perfect — with a metro station nearby, it’s incredibly easy to reach any part of Stockholm. Plus, it’s just steps from the ferry terminal if you're up for river adventures, and within walking distance of the Old Town, where you can truly soak in the city’s atmosphere. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially fell in love with the little moments: taking a shower with sunlight streaming through the portholes and dancing on the water, sipping coffee by the river, and watching the night lights reflect across the surface. Truly peaceful and unique.

Just a small heads-up: the rooms and hallways are quite compact, and the ceiling height is limited — something to keep in mind, as it is a boat after all. It didn’t bother me, but some travelers might find the space a bit tight.

This boat-hotel was a highlight of our visit to Stockholm. I travelled with my 13 year son and stayed there for 4 days (on ship No.3). Pleasant man at the reception gave us bigger room than we have ordered, though I red reviews and details on the booking site and was prepared for small room, shared toilet, bunk bed etc, which is what you get when you stay on a ship (did that severak times before and I am absolutely ok with this). The room was superb, the panorama to Stockholm's old town was just STRIKING, especially in the night, then there are plenty of lights and reflections in the water. Each morning we were waken by the bright spring sunshine in the room, very good mood! Bathroom was even bigger than our room, very clean and comfortable and... with fahtastic window view as well, heh! We have got double bed instead of bulk bed and it was ok. Everything was clean and manatined well. Smell was nice. Kitchen was nice. Security doors were simple to use. We did not experienced any problems bacause of noise or doors slamming (that was often mentioned by other reviewers). Breakfast was massive and very good, also have tried Thai meals. There is a nice path on the rock above the ship with city panorama that is probably morst spectacular in Stockholm! Rygfjord experience made out visit better than I could expect - thanks a lot! Definitely will go there next time.

The only thing I found strage is property's copy-paste comments on majority of Booking.com reviews. There are many visitors, yes, but this nice staff can do better replies :)

Staying in a boat was cool! The boat has a nice restaurant and bar, sitting areas upstairs, and an open deck with chairs for enjoying the sun. The room was small but it was clean, comfy and warm, and it had good mirrors! The waterways are lovely where the boat is and there are other boats worth a visit. Friendly staff!

Not much space in the room and the bathroom is tiny (shower goes over everything in the bathroom so a lot of drying to do after showering). Even though staying by the water is lovely, there aren't restaurants or cafes close by and we had to walk at least 10 minutes for a cappuccino (all you get from the hotel is black coffee)

I really enjoyed my first experience staying on a boat—it was a unique and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the person who checked me in. Although I didn’t catch her name, she truly exemplified effective communication and made me feel at ease right away. The room, while small, was charming and comfortable, giving it a cozy, homely vibe. The location on the water added a special touch to my stay, offering beautiful views of Stockholm right outside the window. Highly recommended for those seeking a different experience in Stockholm!

Everything was fine!

The location is fantastic, with beautiful views towards the city if you have a cabin facing the water. We were upgraded to a nicer room than the one we booked, that was really nice. We had the breakfast one morning and that was good, we decided to sleep in the other mornings and find breakfast in the Södermalm neighborhood so we could explore at the same time. We loved Södermalm! So many interesting shops, galleries and places to eat, small parks, steps going up to hidden places! And Fotografiska is my favorite museum in Stockholm, so definitely worth walking over. We were very conveniently located near Gamla Stan, so walking over there to explore or jump on the metro was easy.

The shower was unfortunately out of hot water somehow when I went to use it on our last morning. It was a cold morning too, so a cold shower before a travel day was not appreciated. The pillows were also lumpy and old. New pillows are not so expensive and make a big difference to sleep! There are no blackout blinds but we knew this already so we brought eye masks (necessary to block the sun in the spring and summer months in Sweden).

It was a very unique exeprience and amazing value for money! The room was quite small for two people but that’s expected for a boat hotel however, it was very cozy and comfortable! The wifi worked and the room had all the basics needed. If neighbours are noisy you can call the night guard who will come sort it out for you. The staff were lovely and would definitely come back again! And the location was perfect, everything was within walking distance!

We were in a lower cabin which had quite low ceilings. This wasn’t an issue for us but could be for taller people. The toilets were also quite noisy to flush but that’s a minor issue.
