The location is very convenient. About 300m to Gamla Stan metro, 120m to bus 53 (if you go to Stockholm by Viking line). The second thing is that the apartment is very big (55m2) and at the first floor (the building has no evalator). There is a big double bed (1m8) that is totally comfortable for 3 of us (my daughter is 3.5 year-olds). There is also another sofa bed but we don't need it. TV has youtube so my kid can watch her favourite channel. There is a small pub/restaurant right below the building and they start playing music/instrument every evening from 9:00pm so it's a bit noisy (not too loud) but this is not really a minus point to us. There are ear plugs in the kitchen but we don't need it. We still slept well.

Our family of 5 used this apartment as our home base to explore Gamla Stan. The location is phenomenal. Right on one of the main streets with restaurants and shops. The apartment we received was not the same as the one in the pictures. The main bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The living room had a couch that turns into a double bed and a chair that turns into a single cot bed. Those beds were not as comfortable, as they tilt such that your feet are slightly higher than your head. So we ended up sleeping in the opposite direction which means you can't watch the TV. The TV only had a few channels and none in English. We simply casted Netflix to the TV and that was our entertainment in the evenings after dinner. The kitchen was fully equipped but the kitchen table was awkward to use for a family as it is too big for the space. We simply ate in the living room. The bathroom was spacious and bright although the location of the shower leaves the floor around the toilet a bit wet. The wifi signal was not great if you were not in the same room as the router, but the speed was good. Having the keyless entry codes was very handy as it allowed the family to come and go without the need for extra keys. The apartment is situated above a restaurant and at night this restaurant had live music till around 10 PM. We enjoyed the music but something to consider for others. All in all it had some rough edges but contrasted against the location it was a win for our family.

Stunning and atmospheric historic and spacious apartment, beautifully furnished and decorated. All mod cons including excellent WiFi for business meetings, plus washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hobs and fridge freezer. Spotless cupboards, hanging space, clothes drier, table and 4 chairs, period beside tables, occasional tables, chests. Perfect location in the heart of Gamla Stan, 10 mins walk from the Central station. Surrounded by restaurants and with supermarkets and fruit n veg stalls less than 5 mins walk away.

Lovely apartment in a great location, near to shops and metro. Everything you need, one huge bedroom with comfy double bed and a double sofa bed in living room. It was very easy to get in and clean on arrival.

Not much to complain about. Just very hot on arrival and we had to turn heating down in rooms but couldn't turn it down in the bathroom. Few nails on floor boards in bedroom need tapping down as we ripped a few socks on them, luckily not feet! Otherwise great.

This is a large, comfortable apartment in an excellent location in Stockholm’s old town. The facilities are well maintained.

A very minor issue in that the under counter light in the kitchen could not be switched off as the remote control did not work , despite a visit from the maintenance team.

Kitchen was not used as seemed a little disconnected from the living space. Not much to invite you in to prepare or cook in. Felt like a redundant area & given the artistic elements of the apartment, I expected there to have been something to brighten the space.

We paid for early check in and assured the code would be the same as previously issued. But this was not accurate, there was a new code needed, and having asked if there would be on the phone, this delayed our early check in significantly as the key paid locks out for greater periods of time if not correct. Good security, but not if you have been given the wrong code. We eventually got through and got the new code.

What an amazing experience - the location is phenomenal and the whole stay was very smooth. They send you an email the day before with the instructions with the door code and apartment code which for a party with numerous travellers was much easier than physical keys. The location is right in the heart of the Gamla stan - but warning you cant get a taxi to right outside the door due to the area being pedesdtrianised (you can get about 400m away though). The apartment was beautiful, clean, and spacious. A super modern kitchen with everything you need and beautiful paintings and furniture. Couldnt fault it.

The configiration of the doors was a bit annoying. When you come out of the bathroom you hit another internal door - but really I am being picky. It was excellent.

Location is very good. Apartment was spacious. Windows open to busy street and alley but it quiets down. Good security. We were expecting a full kitchen but there was no oven Apparently what’s listed on booking.com may not match the Apart Direct site. I did call to ask about the oven because we had expected to eat numerous meals in the apartment. It is a bit confusing about what apartment not you end up booking. There should be better communication between the two companies.

well stocked with extra towels/sheets, soap, sponge, dish detergent etc. the apartment’s how to guide was helpful and very clear. comfortable beds very clean. amazing location

radiators were a bit tricky to figure out and the internet was on the slow side, sometimes so slow it wasn’t usable.

Limited hot water in the boiler; lack of dishwasher - and the dishes were requested to be left clean or a charge would be applied. The apartment would apso benefit from more lighting.
