The hostel is right in the middle of the old town (Gamla Stan) within walking distance of all the sights. Although the reception is only open for part of the day, the staff are very welcoming and happy to share tips, and they made sure that checking in outside of office hours was very smooth and easy. Also, they were happy for me to leave some luggage at the hostel when I left Stockholm for a few days. It is definitely not a party hostel and can get pretty quiet in the evening, but it is social enough for my liking. Kitchen is clean and has everything you need.

There are not that many showers (although I never had to wait for one), and there are only sinks in the toilets (and very tiny ones at the showers, so there it not really a logical place to shave or brush your teeth.

I’ve stayed at a few hostels in Stockholm, and this one has definitely been the best. The location is perfect, right in Old Town and close to everything. The atmosphere felt more like a family home, with communal rooms, a kitchen, and everything you might need. The staff were very helpful, and Petra and Klara (if I remember their names correctly) were especially friendly and even showed me around the hostel. They really made me feel welcome. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

The only small downside is that towels and sheets aren’t included in the rent, but this was clearly mentioned beforehand, so it wasn’t a problem.

A great hostel in a lovely location as it is a little off the main street of tourist action, so it was pretty peaceful. We were greeted nicely by the staff on arrival and allowed to leave our luggage as we were early for checkin. Our room was fine, 2 bunks for a family of 4. Adequate storage spaces for a hostel. The communal seating area was nicely decorated and felt cosy and welcoming. We liked the older style of the property which gives it some interesting character features. The showers were nice and hot. There's a nice cafe outside, attached to the hostel which did a really nice breakfast and coffee too.

There were only 2 things that weren't ideal. One of our bunks was SO squeaky, like REALLY squeaky which made it a little difficult to sleep at times and the person sleeping on it felt like they couldn't really move all night. The reception area isn't manned overnight (I think from 1800-1000, or something like that) so when we went for a shower in the morning the toilets and showers and stinks were fairly grotty, as they hadn't been maintained at all for those hours.

The location is perfect, the staff is super friendly and helpful! I strongly recommend this one to live when come to Stockholm, will definetly book this again when I visit next time!!

Great location, near all touristic areas + welcoming staff. If you look a quiet place to rest, this hostel will be perfect.

Microwave and the stove top/cooker didn’t work so I wasn’t able to reheat my dish + you have to pay extra if you want sheets and a towel.

Here is the clearly best hostel in Stockholm! Location is best of the best. You don’t need to use transportation cause everywhere is in walking distance. Middle of the stylish cafes/restaurants,supermarket, touristic attractions… All reception staff is really friendly. They always smile and doing their best to make your stay unforgettable! I stayed in 16 beds dormitory and room was really large. I could watch the stunning backyard view from my bed. They also let you use luggage storage for free. Kitchen and toilets are clean like your home. I’ll recommend this place everyone who planning to come Stockholm!

everything was excellent!

Everything, specially the amazing kitchen with extremely good quality appliances, the best table wear I've seen in any hostel in my life! Perfect plates, bowls, cups and glasses. The place was immaculate, extremely clean and cosy, the kitchen was the best ever with everything you could wish for at a hostel and Petra was so kind, patient and friendly. The beds were also the best beds in any hostel, including great pillows, bedding and towels. Simply a great experience =D

The only thing I would add; a very comfortable chunky sofa or 2 of them in different areas of the hostel, that would make my stay an 11* instead of a 10!!

The location is central, in the Old Town. It is clean, well organized and has an elevator. Each bed has a power socket, a night lamp and a locker but you have to buy the locks (only purchasing is available). The staff were kind and very helpful.

However, they try to make a buck out of everything you do. They do not even provide sheets for your stay, but offer sheets to rent. Come on. This just makes you look bad, like you’re trying to squeeze every dime out of your visitors. Rent a towel, rent a lock, no curtains on the beds for at least some privacy, pretty poor service considering what all they charge. It’s a nice place, yes. Clean, centrally located, but I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

Amazing location and the hostel facilities were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked, with a lot of cooking gear and the showers were very clean. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the system of having a pin code for the door, made travelling with a group much easier. We also took advantage of the laundry service, which was flawless, they even still separated the laundry for us according to tumble dry or air dry, very accommodating.

There were too little big lockers in the rooms. Not all were big enough to store a travel backpack.

I wish I stayed longer! This is a friendly independent hostel and guests were a good mix of ages. I loved the number code system (one code to enter building and another to enter your own room), which means I did not have to worry about a key card and I could just leave on check-out day. It's a beautiful hostel and well located in the old town, about a 20-minute walk to the Sodermalm neighborhood to the south. Staff were really kind and showed me around when I arrived. I could store my luggage in a room with a code on the door. There's a well-equipped kitchen and many clean toilets/showers available. My room in a 4-bed woman's dorm was comfortable.

The only thing I would recommend is bedlamps that don't disturb other dorm-mates. The current lamps don't isolate light to your own bed. Also, my mattress was a bit squeaky but this didn't bother me much.
