Breakfast was an additional cost. It offered a good selection of foods including dairy free options which suited our needs. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were sparkling and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great chilled location with great bus connection to Stockholm and the central station. We walked most places. Communal spaces were clean and welcoming with books and games provided. I particularly liked the little furnished alcoves dotted around the hostel making the most of the lovely view over gamla stan.

Although the price was very competitive and reflected the low season, I was disappointed that the kitchen was being refurbished and there was no pre warning or real effort to compensate. We had to self cater with food we didn’t have to cook (although a microwave and fridge space was provided). I would’ve liked to have access to hot water for a cup of tea. The staff did happily provide hot water from the cafe but it was not the same. This did not mean we didn’t have a lovely time here and I would return and recommend STF.

The location was easy to get to, and very quiet and peaceful and comfortable. The place was very clean and well maintained; the room was clean and comfortable and warm; the bathrooms were always clean, and the kitchen was nice to have access to. Everything felt very safe and secure.

This is not a social hostel. There were a few other people in the shared dorm room, but no one spoke to each other. It would be great if the hostel organized some activities for travelers who would like to meet other travelers and socialize a bit. Some of the staff members were very nice and friendly, but some other staff members were not friendly at all.

The location is great. We were able to walk relatively quickly to any place in the central part of the city. The room wasn't big, with 2-level beds. And there was no private bathroom. But on the other hand, the price was quite good.

The breakfast was ... let's say, humble. Honestly, I don't remember when last time I saw such a poor choice. Of course I won't complain on shared bathroom, cause I selected this option intentionally to get the good price. But one more thing worth mentioning - there were just 3 really small shelfs where you can put your closes and other things... in a room for 2-3 persons.

The location is perfect. It's close to many of attractions in the city. Everything is at walking distance. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I got a new set of bedding when check in and the staff was friendly and warmly welcomed me. The bed was comfortable for a fine a sleep. Washrooms were clean and had hot water. This place is worth for the money and i would recommend.

Only downside is there are only limited number of showers and toiltes per floor. When it's fully booked i do not think that would be sufficient. Luckily, i didn't face any trouble as I travelled off-seaaon.

Where to start... the view from my side of the hostel was exquisite, the room was spacious and well-equipped, all the shared facilities are plentiful and pleasant to use, the place is extremely well-organized and the staff friendly and professional. The very good onsite cafe is a huge bonus (a better option than the buffet breakfast, in my opinion).

This is only an issue to hypersensitive people, and obviously not the hostel's fault, but on the two weekend nights the bass and low drumbeats of the music from the pubs across the water made it difficult for me to sleep despite earplugs.

I loved the location! The place is on an island near the old town. I enjoyed walking from there, crossing the bridges and walking around the wonderful streets of the old town. The breakfast was very good for the price. It was overall a very clean place. I would love to visit again in summertime.

Although the location is close to the old town, it is a bit far away (about 25 mins on foot) from the central station. However, there are buses from the island and a metro station within 10 minutes on foot. I stayed at the 16-bed dormitory with a low ceiling (as it's right beneath the roof of the building), so I had to be careful while walking.

Was a very pretty hostel,we got shared bathroom but only had to share with one room and it wasn't a problem.The view is breathtaking and the facilities are kept clean,the place is in very good location,we only had to use transport to and from the airport and the stations are also pretty close.The staff was also very friendly and nice,a plus that everyone knew and could communicate well in english.The wi-fi also worked all the time during our stay,so i'm very pleased with that.Hope we will come back someday and try the ship too!

This hostel is perfect for a short staying in Stockholm. I stayed in the girls only room and it is a typical dorm room. It was clean and they provide a towel and bed sheets. In the room there are lockers but you have to bring your own lock. Like in every dorm room, you have to make your own bed. There are showers and toilets for girls. The location is fine, you have to walk a bridge to go to the city centre, but it is close. I was travelling solo and I felt safe. For 45€ per day it's value for money. And the view from Skeppsholmen island was worth it.

The location is perfect, on a peaceful island next to the center and with a beautiful view. The bedroom was very comfortable and nice with a very good bed and two sinks. You have lockers in the room. You also have a coat rack in the room. They give your a towel during your stay which is super cool. A breakfast is available for 135 kr = 11,70€. Efforts are made to make aware of water waste. The showers and WC are recent and clean.

The kitchen is very too small for the entire hostel, because not many people can cook at the same time or even be in the kitchen. The hostel is a bit too big and you can easily lose your way. There is many family in the hostel with lot of children who can make lot of noises. The breakfast is maybe a bit expensive.

I loved the location which is walkable to Gamla stan. Close to Vasa museum and ABBA museum. The room was with 2 single and one bunk bed. It was perfect for family with 2 adult kids. Kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, cutlery, cups, coffee maker with filter, kettle , microwave and full oven. 2 big fridges and toaster. Staff was very nice and helpful.the security is very good. Door closes good and people without the key can't get in to the property.

No lift with big suitcases to go up to 3rd floor. Other floors has nice big toilets but top floor has one tiny one to share with other guests. There are 2 showers but one toilet. There's funny smell in our shared toilet. We stayed for 5 nights and the smell stayed. but other floor's toilet was all nice grapefruit smell.
