The best place to stay in Stockholm, this was our 4th time there. Great location, kind staff, good kitchen, very nice breakfast buffet and Cafe Skeppsholmen downstairs.

Excelent location. I stayed in the 16-bed room. I thought I was going to be uncomfortable, but it was actually very good. They're all single beds. No bunk beds. During my stay, everybody was quiet and respectful. I had to do my bed on arrival, and it wasn't a big deal. Some people complain about it in their reviews. The bathrooms were super clean, and you had to push the bottom every 30 seconds in the shower to get water. Again, it wasn't a big deal. Some people also complain about this. The wifi was great, and the kitchen facilities were good. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

People in dorm really fart a lot! .get near a window .no soap in the showers.. Website could have better info on transport there Taxis will rip you off. Be very specific I was charged 40 dollars to go to the Viking terminal 1km away...he did an elaborate run.around. a real jerk. He also said. ,"Buy uber its cheaper." He also drove uber! The hostel is in a very beautiful location on the seafront in Skeppsholmen Island. It's an historic building surrounded by trees and its peace is interrupted only by the sound of birds - I saw a flock of geese passing by and the occasional heron. I slept in a small single room which I absolutely loved. Its lovely window looked out onto the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan on the adjoining island and on the rigged ship called Af Chapman which is berthed beside the hostel. And trees. What a beautiful scene! The island is linked to the mainland by a bridge and also by a ferry which will bring you to either Gamla Stan island or Djurgarden island where the outstanding Vasa Museum - and several other museums - are located. Delightfully, you have to "summon" the ferry to stop at the island by pressing a button at the dock! The hostel is spotlessly clean. The bedlinen is crisp and fresh. The decor is simple but uncluttered and tasteful. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of healthy foods including boiled eggs, yogurts, cereals, cheeses, fruit and much more. Very good value for around €12, I thought. There is also a cafe which is open until 8pm and a kitchen for self-catering. The hostel has several rooms for relaxing or working online and one of the rooms has a billiard table. The staff throughout the hostel are very friendly and helpful. Although I only stayed two nights, I was actually sad leaving the hostel and my lovely little room with a view. I hope I will return.

Breakfast was an additional cost. It offered a good selection of foods including dairy free options which suited our needs. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were sparkling and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great chilled location with great bus connection to Stockholm and the central station. We walked most places. Communal spaces were clean and welcoming with books and games provided. I particularly liked the little furnished alcoves dotted around the hostel making the most of the lovely view over gamla stan.

Although the price was very competitive and reflected the low season, I was disappointed that the kitchen was being refurbished and there was no pre warning or real effort to compensate. We had to self cater with food we didn’t have to cook (although a microwave and fridge space was provided). I would’ve liked to have access to hot water for a cup of tea. The staff did happily provide hot water from the cafe but it was not the same. This did not mean we didn’t have a lovely time here and I would return and recommend STF.

The location is very good, quite close to the city centre. There is a bus nearby which can take you straight to the city centre and the underground stations. The room was clean as well as common areas, including kitchen. No queues to the toilets or showers. Lovely view of the river from our window. The beds are comfortable.

Breakfast could be better but overall it was not bad. We were not warned at the reception during check-in that we would have to show the receipt at breakfast to be allowed to have it so if you pay for this option-keep the receipt with you. No soap at the showers so don't forget to take yours.

The location was easy to get to, and very quiet and peaceful and comfortable. The place was very clean and well maintained; the room was clean and comfortable and warm; the bathrooms were always clean, and the kitchen was nice to have access to. Everything felt very safe and secure.

This is not a social hostel. There were a few other people in the shared dorm room, but no one spoke to each other. It would be great if the hostel organized some activities for travelers who would like to meet other travelers and socialize a bit. Some of the staff members were very nice and friendly, but some other staff members were not friendly at all.

For a hostel is pretty nice, beds are comfortable, rooms are big and with space. The location is beautiful and in general the sttaf are very nice, with one exception.

It's a bit expensive for a hostel, sharing a room with 5 people. I don't like the fact that the female room is more expensive, I don't think is fair to pay more just to feel safe. I also had twice a bad situation with a old lady in the reception that is very sarcastic and not helpful.

The location is great. We were able to walk relatively quickly to any place in the central part of the city. The room wasn't big, with 2-level beds. And there was no private bathroom. But on the other hand, the price was quite good.

The breakfast was ... let's say, humble. Honestly, I don't remember when last time I saw such a poor choice. Of course I won't complain on shared bathroom, cause I selected this option intentionally to get the good price. But one more thing worth mentioning - there were just 3 really small shelfs where you can put your closes and other things... in a room for 2-3 persons.

I' ve always been going to STF Stockholm Vandrarem, every time I go to Stockholm, Sweden. I Love ❤️ the Hostel the people there, the location it' s my absolute favourite, above all the others.: Skepsholnen och Shepsbron. Right in front of The Riyal Palace, on one side abs of the Vasa Muset on the other.. I adore everything about it. From one side of Skepsholmen , you can even see, from afar the beautiful " Grona Lund"- the characteristic, very popular amazing Theme Park of the City of Stockholm, SE 🇸🇪💋💓♥️
