From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff, gorgeous room views, and a super comfy bed that felt like a cloud. Hot showers w/great pressure. Excellent wifi. Amazing breakfast. Close to the bus stop and walkable (uphill) from the train station. You are given a transport pass to use. Lovely stay.

I wish there had been a tea kettle in the room for hot tea after a long day of hiking. You can ask the staff and they will give you a thermos of hot water, so that was nice.

Very helpful staff - answered all our questions and provided lots of information on attractions in the area. Comfortable room with lots of storage space and plenty of coathangers. Excellent breakfasts with lots of home-made and local ingredients. Good location with plenty of restaurants within easy reach.

Window between bedroom and bathroom didn't have a blind, so light shone into bedroom whenever bathroom in use. No tea and coffee-making facilities in the room.

We were given local travel tickets of train and buses through out our stay which was very helpful. And supermarket next door was also an added advantage

The hotel is welcoming and we really liked the modern decor in the lobby (and its fireplace) and room decor. The room was comfortable and warm (we stayed mid winter). There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and the house-made jams were delicious. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms and common areas are absolutely spotless, the beds are super comfortable, and compared with other places we looked at it was extremely well priced. The included breakfast was excellent. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and I really hope we will return one day.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable and we had a beautiful view. The bathroom was very clean and modern. Breakfast offered a great variety with many delicious breads available. The location was perfect as it was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. Staff at reception were very helpful with all our requests

Very good location, just 3 min walk from the bus station or 5 from a train station. Very clean, inviting decor in the common spaces and the rooms. Very helpful, cheery staff that were efficient and knowledgeable. A wonderful breakfast in the morning and stunning mountain views from every space.

Good clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel location was good for buses and trains. The breakfast buffet was typical Swiss style but sufficient. The hotel didn’t have a restaurant but they could provide bar snacks. The hotel provided you with a free travel card for use on bus, train, mountain railways and cable cars. The management and staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly book this hotel if we visited the area again. Underground parking garage.

The cost of rooms, meals and especially drinks were on the high side, but this is typical of anywhere in Switzerland.

The hotel has been recently been renovated in a sleek, modern style; everything is crisp, impeccably clean. Very quiet rooms, generally a tranquil place. Spacious breakfast room, with nice views, cleaning and disinfecting and spacing and hand-sanitisers all there - compliant with the Covid regulations. To avoid crowding, two breakfast times were offered to preregister. (9:30 was great for us :) Always important: very nice coffee & cappuccinos. Breakfast is continental and replenished with high frequency, so everything is plentiful, always there and very fresh: cold cuts and cheese assortment, jams, eggs to self-boil - timers provided - l diverse very nice breads (over 10 types?!), lactose-free milk as well… everything tastes great, presented nicely, always full. Friendly but not intrusive personnel. local tipps. Stay includes free pass for local public transport and funiculars and that is great value for money. fFee parking is limited and must be pre-booked (we missed that) but additional is available in next-door garage and at 10CHF / day it’s ok. The location is perfect, 3-5 min. walking into town centre and to restaurants. We had a great stay over 5 nights and we could not fault them. We will be back.

The breakfast was delicious and nutritious. A wide variety of typical European food: bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, muesli, etc.... The coffee was excellent. The location was very convenient to the town and public transport. The staff was super friendly. Our room had a mountain view as advertised. All rooms are supposed to have mountain views.

We only stayed 2-nights and it took me that long to figure out the heat in the room i.e. too hot. The 2nd day I eventually turned the heat all the way off and opened the window for awhile.
