Beautifully presented hotel Great staff - the entire team at the hotel are fantastic. Very guest-oriented, very professional, totally competent. Literally every member of staff I had contact with was perfect Lovely breakfast, with a good range of local produce Spa facilities are superb Clean and safe underground car park with car wash facilities Delicious food at all the hotel restaurants - do try the Gondolezza across the road (fondue and raclette)

Soundproofing in the bedroom wasn't too good - I could hear the guests in the next-door room quite clearly There is only one shower/WC shared by a number of bedrooms, which could be a problem at times I would have preferred some background music at breakfast, as it's so quiet in the breakfast room that you are very aware of people's conversations around you

It was lovely and had everything I needed. The room and private bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and most evenings I dined at the hotel because it was so good and comfortable. They gave me a pass to use all lifts, trains and buses in the area which made my stay even better! The SPA facilities were exceptional too: jacuzzi, pool, several saunas at different temperatures and humidity, and a water fall to cool off! It was great and I would stay there again!!!

Super helpful staff, nice flexibility with restaurant reservations, great facilities, great value for money. Very cozy stylish hotel. You are also able to use the facilities of hotel Walther (5 star) throughout the stay.

You have to go over the outside area to go to spa - make sure to change in the locker room if you don't like the cold. The gym is a very small room with rather minimum equipment. But overall amazing facilities!

Our stay at Hotel Steinbock was fantastic! The location is ideal, with easy access to hiking trails and stunning views of the Alps. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great selection of fresh and delicious options. I highly recommend Hotel Steinbock for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Pontresina. I can’t wait to return!

80€ in a taxi ….is that enough?? Didn’t realize it was so far from St. Moritz. Booking.com could add to this booking [catch the train to Pontresina-5min] for this hotel to get more people to stay here as they deserve.

We visited with our Bernina train weekend. Great quality, new spa, and very friendly staff. Everything feels very well maintained and taken care of. Good breakfast! There's an easy 1hr hike to Sankt Moritz too.

Restaurant (dinner) is quite expensive for the quality, but we're in Switzerland, so it's kind of expected

The staff was "over the top" with friendliness and service. I like the bus pass and ability to go over to the spa next door complimentarily even though I didn't have time to do so. The rooms were spotless.

The room I had was small with a bathroom. someone upstairs where perhaps there is a dormitory was moving furniture when I was trying to go to sleep.

I liked that we could use the steam rooms as part of your overnight with no additional charge. The breakfast had a lot of options. The breads were incredible. The place was very clean.

We had a nice size room. However, I thought the window view would be an inside courtyard. It was of someone else’s house with hanging laundry. Next time I would ask about specifics of room location but all OK since we had only 1 overnight. However, it was a great place to stay. The downstairs area had interesting furnishings.

Third time at Steinbock and the service is always great. Facilities, spa & restaurant all very good. What's not to like??? See you next year

That wiiden beam in our room #36...both if us cracked our heads a few times 😞 Can something be done...? Also would prefer a kettle with the possibility to make a cup of tea 😀

Rooms used for breakfast and dinner were so lovely! Beautifully decorated with nice lighting. Breakfast buffet was very good and substantial. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights and the food and service were excellent! We also enjoyed the large sitting room after dinner both nights. Quiet background music was a big plus!

We liked it all!
