The Hotel was very cozy, beautiful decoration with many details. My room was very big and it has very nice balcony with an amazing view facing Matterhon mountain it has really incredible view. The breakfast was super tasty and many option to choose, super wonderful. Thx to the staff Sarrah as well she was looking after me every morning, she s so welcoming and kind and helpful. Thx to the Owner as well Mrs, Regaine and her husband were very friendly and warm welcoming. Definitely, We will go back again to the same hotel whenever we plan to go to Zermatt❤️

This hotel was such a cozy and delightful place to stay! Although our room was small, it offered a breathtaking direct view of the Matterhorn, making it truly special. The thoughtful touch of heart-shaped chocolates left in the room was a lovely gesture that made us feel welcomed. The lounge, swimming pool, and sauna were all fantastic, providing the perfect environment to relax and unwind. We enjoyed swimming and even had fun playing billiards. The restaurant and lounge had an incredibly creative and aesthetic vibe, adding to the charm of our stay. The staff were wonderful—always friendly and helpful in planning our day and recommending places to visit. A word of advice: if you plan to dine at the restaurant, make a reservation early as it gets fully booked quickly. The hotel also provided a convenient pick-up and drop-off service, which added to the overall ease of our experience. It was a truly memorable stay, and we’d love to return! This wasn’t our first choice, as we had to cancel our original booking due to a change in our itinerary. However, it turned out to be the best decision we could have made—fortunately!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Swiss Alpine Berhof Hotel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the first-class service was evident. The staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—each meal felt like a carefully curated culinary experience. The flavors, presentation, and variety were outstanding, making dining there a highlight of the visit. The views from the hotel were breathtaking. Surrounded by stunning alpine scenery, it was the perfect escape to relax and recharge. Whether gazing out from the room, the dining area, or the spa, every angle offered postcard-worthy landscapes. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, with attention to detail clearly a priority. The rooms, common areas, and facilities were all spotless and well-maintained. Speaking of the spa—it was simply amazing. The luxurious treatments, serene atmosphere, and exceptional amenities made it an oasis of tranquility. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Whether for a romantic getaway, family trip, or solo retreat, this hotel delivers an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

Everything!! What a fantastic hotel!!!! Absolutely adored it. Very welcoming. Very clean. Excellent amenities. The hot tub, pool, and sauna were outstanding. We had a wonderful patio with views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary robes and slippers was a very nice touch. Really amazing place to stay!! Location was superb, it was at the end of town and right next to the Matterhorn station.

No air conditioning but windows opened so we were still comfortable. It was a VERY long walk from the train station up a lot of hills. So definitely take the little taxis that are by the station. The hotel does have a taxis to take you to and from the train station but if you arrive after 6:00pm you will need to pay for a general taxis. Still worth the stay. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Premium location next to the Matterhorn paradise cable car. Exceptional view of Matterhorn from the room. Unbelievable spa area with two pools, jacuzzi and many more. Even a small gym for those not tired enough after all day hiking. Breakfast is exceptional. Very nice and helpful owners. Very good service in general. Liked everything, considering getting back for ski.

Coffee and tea in the room would be desirable

The hotel's prime location just a stone's throw away from the Gondola and Ski rental shop is truly exceptional. Enjoyed breathtaking views of the Matterhorn right from the hotel. We enjoyed using the hotel facilities - swimming pools and playing table tennis. Indulged in a delightful breakfast each morning and loved our family room - spacious and comfortable, which added to the overall charm of our stay. The hotel is a short walk from the village centre where we had dinner each evening.

We would have loved to have coffee facilities in our room, perhaps a Nespresso machine. This was definitely a miss and an opportunity.

A homely stay. We have stayed in the best of 5 stars but this Hotel was a class apart. I felt l this like my second home. The old personal touch provided by the owners. The Husband and Wife personally took care of each and every customers. The interior and Architecture were great. Easily one of the best hotels in Zermatt. The location perfect. A little away from the city center and seemed like a country side. The Matterhorn mountains can be seen very closely from our balconies. Full 10 out of 10 to this not a hotel but a HOME STAY. Surely going to come back. A very unique Architecture like a second home. Didn’t feel like leaving this place. The Beauty of Zermatt apart.

Such a charming gem of a hotel in a fabulous location. The interiors are outstanding with such thought put into every corner and every room. Gorgeous terrace with uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn. Beautiful pools, and warm and welcoming rooms throughout. Lovely bedroom with balcony and such a comfy bed! Exceptional breakfast. Friendly staff. The whole experience was first class and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The construction site next door but there’s not much that can be done about that and the hotel did send a note ahead of my stay to mention it.

A lovely hotel in town, close to everywhere. The staff were outstanding in answering any question on any subject, including advice on hiking routes. The room was spacious and had a spectacular view of the Metahorn peak. The breakfast was indulgent with a large variety of food. The hotel has two nice pools. Just magic of a place.
