Absolutely fantastic stay at this charming hotel!The location couldn’t be better—just 5mins walk way from the gondola,making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes every morning. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious fresh bread, local cheeses, and homemade jams—a perfect start to the day. What truly stood out was the warm and efficient service. Though the team is small, they were exceptionally attentive and made me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to our stay. The view alone is worth the stay. But, to top it off, you’ll be a minute away from the bus stop to take you to the main road in Zermatt plus also a minute away from Bergstube, a restaurant with the best view and delicious rösti, and a few minutes walk to ride the gondolas to Gornegratt. The hotel also serves amazing breads and homemade and Zermatt cheese on their breakfast buffet. Also, a bathroom that has a skylight was special! I only wish the hotel adds shampoo, conditioner, and lotion to their amenities. But, that’s just a small thing that doesn’t affect how I will about the hotel.

The view from the balking was fabulous, we were able to see the Matterhorn. This spectacular view can also be seen from the breakfast room. The bathroom was modern and clean and the staff were overall very friendly. On request we received gluten free breakfast options.

The carpet floor in the rooms is something that put me off personally. Furthermore the spa area only includes a semi working steam room and sauna. It’s really small and does not have a good ambiance. One evening the fire alarm went off and it took them about 15 minutes to turn it off. We did not receive any information on how and why this has happened so we had to figure out on our own whether it was a test or for real.

The staff was so kind and even she recommended us a restaurant for our dinner. The restaurant was one of the top restaurants we visited during our travel. And the view from the room was amazing. Thanks to the nice weather, we really enjoyed the Mt.Paradise.

Unfortunately, the price went down. And the bus heading up to the hotel wasn't coming down to the station, so we had to walk about 12 minutes to take the bus. We were lucky to get on the bus, but some drivers would not permit putting the luggage in the bus. You need is luck. :)

Every expectation we had was exceeded... the location is fantastic, the staff went above and beyond for our comfort, and the breakfast (with full view of the glorious Matterhorn🩷) was delicious, full and varied. After a long day exploring, the steam room and sauna restored us - and we slept very well afterwards! We will definitely recommend Mountain Paradise to family and friends... Thanks to Christina and Maree and the owners for making our first trip to Zermatt so comfortable.

If you are tall and have a room on the top floor, mind your head! The sloping roof caught us out a couple of times.

What a location. Directly view to the Matterhorn from our balcony. The hotel is at the edge of town closest to Matterhorn. Short walk to town. Big rooms bathtub with sky window. Best room I have ever stayed in. Room 402. The staff and facilities was great. Breakfast could be a little more upped but was fine. We loved it. Look at the photo from our balcony the day we arrived. Gondola station only 2 min away from the hotel. Stunned. Goosebumps. Wow.

Lovely light modern property with lots of character. Great Matterhorn views from the breakfast room and garden. Everything worked, the ski room was good size with heated boot warmers. Breakfast was good with an excellent coffee machine and there was a little honesty bar and a sitting area you could use in the evening. Although it is a bit out of town, the bus stop is just outside and the busses are free and come often. The hotel also was very quiet. Very convenient for the Klein Matterhorn lift station.

Location is a bit far from city centre. short 20 min walk!

The hotel is cozy and comfortable. We had a nice view of the Matterhorn from our room. The rooms were on the smaller side, but large enough to fit our family of four. They had it all setup for us with the pullout sofa upon arrival. The breakfast had a nice selection, and the dining area is cozy. The location is far from town, but close to the Matterhorn glacier gondola.

The toilet in our room wasn’t flushing properly and the seat was completely broken off the hinges. The bathroom could have had more products available. There was no fridge in the room to store water or extra snacks. The location is a bit far from city center. It was a long walk after a long day of hiking into town to find dinner.

Fantastic stay - despite the snow storm. We arrived just before the snow storm that left the village without power or transport for 2 days. The staff were great at keeping us informed with updates and advice where was open. They even managed to get a gas stove going so we still had breakfast! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable and we even had a view of the Matterhorn when the clouds parted. Would definitely go back.
