Absolutely loved this hotel. Amazing views of the Matterhorn from the balcony, comfortable and clean rooms and fantastic friendly and helpful staff, especially Michael who went out of his way to help me with information and printing some ongoing travel tickets. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm travelling through the Alps and have been to lots of hotels so far and this is absolutely the best. One suggestion for improvement: maybe add tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Other than that, perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was a spacious room, with a lovely modern bathroom. The staff were really friendly and helpful. And the chocolates they give you are very yummy :) If your travelling for the Matterhorn, it is so close the the chairlifts which is so handy. Highly Recommend

The showerhead above the bath in our room was set very low, so if you were taller than 5 foot, it wasn't ideal. But it is a detachable showerhead, so you can make it work! Also as is too be expect of a room with a "King" bed, it was two singles pushed together, but the mattresses slipped apart quite easily, meaning we fell in the crack often. But thats the only minor inconvenience!

We enjoyed our two day stay very much. Location is great, a bit more quiet with wonderful unobstructed views of the Matterhorn and foothills. Close enough two everything and super well connected with two bus lines to other parts of Zermatt and the train station. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Lots of great advice. The place is very clean and good breakfast choices are available. We would definitely stay again!

Nothing that we didn’t like.

One of my dreams for the last two years was to wake up in the morning to a view of the Matterhorn in Zermatt, and in this hotel I achieved exactly what I dreamed of. I booked a room with a mountain view for three nights, and I was lucky in the first two days that the weather was clear and I was able to enjoy the view of the mountain and relax facing it, this mountain. It is a dream come true and this hotel was part of the dream come true The staff at the hotel were all kind without exception. The breakfast was very good and the cleanliness was excellent. When I return there, I will definitely book at that hotel. If you want to book there, beware of giving up a room with a mountain view, as there is all the beauty of the visit.

The hotel is a little far from the center, and when the buses end, transportation becomes a problem due to the distance of the hotel, but this is not a problem for me. Rather, it gave me more calm for a comfortable sleep without disturbance.

The brekfast had a great selection of meats and breads , sweet buns croissants jams . Fresh eggs You can cook to Your liking and great selection of hot drinks . Hotel location is i think the best You can get in Zermatt , the family that runs the place is extra friendly and helpful i absolutely loved every bit of my stay they make it exceptionally good , gave great recommendations about the town etc i will defenatly come back :)))

Could use a bit of veggies on brekfast like tomato , there was cucamber one day but then it was non on a next day but honestly not a big issue as meats and cheese were exceptional and i guess veggies were not in season atm

This is probably the best location if you want unrestricted views of the matterhorn. Take a look at the photos I've posted! Epic views! In addition, this hotel is right next to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise station, which is perfect! It is also right next to some of the most amazing hiking trails in Zermatt. The hotel is slightly far away from the center of Zermatt, but you can easily take the bus or it's a 15 minute walk. The gentleman at the front desk was the most friendly person ever!

Made the mistake of selecting the standard room, which doesn't have any view. If you stay at this place, ensure that you select a room with a view (of the Matterhorn)

Staff was lovely-Michael and team were super helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home! We thought our room had a fridge so we brought some perishable items which they kindly placed in the hotel fridge for us. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Excellent location and very serene-great view of the Matterhorn. Highly recommend!

The room was a little stuffy at times but other than that, great experience!

Beautiful location for walks, fantastic for seeing the Matterhorn, right next to the cable car. Best to take the bus( free travel, right across from the station - Zermatt), red or green line to Hotel otherwise it’s a 15-20 min walk from station. Had a wonderful breakfast. Note: no cooking facilities in the room, but on request we got a kettle for making tea ;) very happy with our stay.

The unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, the heart shaped chocolates on the beds, the complimentary chocolate bar (which I forgot to eat), the breakfast (which featured an assortment of extraordinary breads and pastries from Fuchs), the knowledgable and helpful staff, the alpine design...I could go on. This is by far the best place to stay in Zermatt. Pro tips: find out if there is construction on the either the red or green bus line before you get on either bus. There was construction on the red line, so we had to get off early and then walk up the hill with our luggage. We could have taken the green line instead and then just taken the elevator to the road that leads to the hotel.

Great breakfast in a quite and clean hotel. Very friendly staff with helpful recommendations. The sauna was excellent and the view outside the balcony is just amazing. We highly recommend staying here!

This hotel is further than most, especially from the train station. Walking into town can take longe. However, the hotel does offer a taxi service for pick up / drop off.
