Our window opener was broken so we couldn’t open a window properly. There are no air cons in rooms so opening the window was essential, we had to open it a little as the broken handle didn’t let us open more. Also, you have to pay for hotel parking which is a rip off. Hotels parking should be free. Also, the breakfast was okay, but there were no coffee machines so you had to ask the staff to bring you coffee all the time, and it is inconvenient as you have to wait a long time because staff is busy doing coffees for all tiers clients. The coffee machine would be better as guests could pour the coffee themselves.

When I travel, I like to stay away from the main city center, but close to public transportation. This hotel is about 15 maybe 20 minutes from the city center and the tram line is right in front of the hotel. Check-in was extremely easy. Staff was friendly and spoke English with excellence. The room was on the larger side and very clean. In the shower was excellent. I could’ve stayed in there all day! There is also a restaurant on the property, two coffee shops within walking distance and a small grocery store and Pharmacy in the same square .

Spotlessly clean everywhere. All staff very polite, friendly, and professional. Room had everything I needed. Toiletries were very good. Location was just 6 min walk from Train station and close to supermarket, shopping mall, restaurants and food outlets. Several churches also close. Breakfast was more continental than "full"; though there were a couple of hot options which you could order. What was available as a buffet was nice; Selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, bread and jams, croissants. hard boiled eggs. There is a church very close which rings bells up to about 21:00 at night and from 07:00am. I loved them, and it was an ideal alarm clock, but may be a problem if you wanted a lie in.

I spent a night here for Taylor Swift concert and the hotel was all I needed for that trip. It was close enough to the stadium so I could walk there and back, it was clean and har a restaurant on site. I realize that the lack of AC could bother some, but I just kept the window open and it was fine. There is a cooling fan in the room. The night was magical, couple of storms came through and I slept like a baby. Overall a great experience. Comfortable bed. Just keep in mind that if you’re late for breakfast which ends at 10am, the restaurant does not serve food again until 11:30am

The property is very old. Still well maintained, the bathroom is good and spacious. The location is slightly outside the Centre but so well connected by tram and bus and train. The tram station is right outside the hotel.

The room as well was good, just there is no AC and the window doesn’t open much. Basic necessities were available. Average hotel. At night can get noisy if you have room on the lower floor but not too much of an inconvenience

The hotel was easy to find and location was great. It's accessible via trams and buses and the nearby train station runs direct to Zurich HB. There's a lot of convenience stores around and is 1 tram ride from the famous Zurich Banhofstrasse. The room was a good size and the bathroom was bigger then most hotels. Staff were amazing and even let us check in earlier than the 3pm.

A little far from the Zurich old town but there are a lot of tram routes anyway. .

My stay at Hotel Spirgarten was fantastic! The staff were very kind and approachable, always ready to help with a smile. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making my time in Zurich even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel

The room was small but comfortable and nicely decorated. It has having everything that you need. The desk was a good size for working and the WIFI was great. The room was quiet and also the bells at the nearby church didn't ring during the night which can be a problem in Switzerland. The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle with tea and coffee supplies in the room. While the hotel is a bit outside Zürich CBD, it was only a short trip away and the hotel has a tram stop in front and a train in a 10 min walk. It also has cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Proper teaspoons and milk pots rather than powdered milk sachets would have been nice.

I always like the rooms away from the main street. The rooms are warm and comfortable. The brush in the dental kit could be of better quality.

The new self checkin process. I am a regular at this hotel, but with the new system it took me 10 minutes in the cold outside to perform the checkin. All my details should already be in the system. Or at least just have the person scan the CCard outside, and do the rest of the check-in inside.

Very comfy and quiet room, the entrance with the card is easy and smooth, the room was tidy and the personnel at the front desk were very polite and helpful, the personnel from the restaurant were ok but not as the ones at the front desk.

As a foreigner I would have like to have more support from the personnel at the restaurant, altough they had good manners they didn't seem to be interested into providing more information to the customers.
