modern, in walking distance of some lovely places but bare in mind it's not near any train stations unless you walk 25-30 mins to a station so lumphini park may be better for you. coffee- KAYY COFFEE. breakfast- Adamaz breakfast house- stunning pancakes! pizza- Grazie Pizzeria. couple of tips- download Bangkok city map offline (pink with a train photo) tells you the routes to get to attractions, made my life so much easier! I caught a taxi (bolt,grab,in-drive) in-drive I found to be the best as bolt and grab weren't always available (be careful as some drivers don't turn up and say they are there even if you put your destination)to MRT Sam Yot station then you go to a machine click where you want to go and it cost like 45 bhat one way which is so cheap, they also run on a regular basis- I caught the blue line to chatuchak park and market which is on a weekend it's sooo good! Also download via bus this shows the bus routes but I found it extremely hard to find the bus stops to be honest, if you do use the buses have really small change on you for the ticket officer & google how buses work in Bangkok- Also don't be afraid to ask anyone if you are lost they are very friendly. google maps will be your best friend (download an offline version to save internet usage)

The smell from the drains, the bathroom/shower room is closed off just by a blurred glass- can smell sewage slightly!

The hostel was down a quiet alleyway in a busy area and close to the ferry station (which was very convenient for getting around the city). The staff was very helpful and the hostel was clean.

The walls are quite thin so we could hear people in the neighbouring room (coughing, talking). Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

What a find! Beautiful rooms and shared areas, the most comfortable beds ever, helpful staff, free coffee and tea, good wifi, and a location on a super quiet alley but within easy walking distance of nightlife and river boat rides. I'd considered moving to a location nearer the Skytrain but ended up staying all the 3 nights i had in Bangkok, in different rooms as they became available - the beds and sleek design made me stay!

A bit of a pain to get to public transport to other parts of town or to the airports, but hey, that's what you get if you stay in/around the Khao San/Banglamphu area.

Nice and clean rooms. Whole hostel is on european stantard, everything seems fresh and clean. Good AC. Staff is very friendly and kind. Good location near Khao San but still quiet.

Theres no soundproofing of anykind. Could hear neighbors going at it like they were in the same room. Room was also quite small, no table of anykind. We also had quite alot moisture build up because the shower is kinda in same space than the rest of the room. I still recommend this. Very much bang for the buck

Bedspread is located down an alley so no car can get their but it is literally a 2 min walk off the road & is signposted.. On entering you have to remove your footwear, showing how clean the accommodation is We were greeted with a soft refreshing drink. Every pleasant staff. The room was lovely & clean with such a comfortable bed & soft sheets. Me & my husband are not thin! but the bed was large enough and we slept very well. Basic but clean room, with air con & shower gel, shampoo provided. Little hanging area for clothes. Wet room too. Hairdryer provided but no kettle which was fine as downstairs their is a very clean kitchen with hotwater & cups for your convenience & a fridge if you want to leave milk etc.2 free bottles of water are outside your room free to replenish your stock! Although we didn't use it there is a lounge area with a big tv and comfortable seating. Area is a must 4 bankgok, in a quite alkey up in the heart of traditional bangkok. We also had washing done from a lady in the alley but futher down their is a self service washing machine. It was our 1st time in thailand and this was a great find for 2 nights. Would def recommend. Clean and comfortable place. Great location. Quiet since it's in a private alley but also very close to everything.

Good location - 5 min drive from Grand Palace etc Had a kitchen and lounge area we could use Down a quiet road so no noise from outside! Could leave our bags after checkout Hotel vibes rather than a social hostel which was fine for us

Bad smell in the bathroom No fridge or safe in the room (however you could use the shared fridge) We were the only room on the first floor, could be noisy in the morning as next to the lift and hoovering outside our door quite early

The staff was soooo nice, always smiling, very helpful and sweet. The place was located in a cute little alley, quiet yet located in a lively neighbourhood. Walking distance to the main attractions and close to the ferry to cross the river. The hostel was modern, clean, and comfortable. There is a reservoir and tap with free drinkable water.

The main issue is isolation in the bedrooms from the noise within the hostel itself. You can hear your neighbours coughing, showering, anything you may imagine, so be prepared for this. AC also seemed to trigger my asthma/ allergies. There was no breakfast per se, although they offer coffee, tea and chocolate.

We really liked our stay at the Bedspread Hostel. Although for us, it felt more like a nice hotel than a hostel. We booked a double room which was very light and comfy due to it’s many windows overlooking the city. The bed was very comfy and everything was neatly clean. We received bottled water every day. The staff was really nice and helpful, also they spoke good English. As the place is a bit hidden in an alley away from the main road it was really quiet at night. Still, Khao San road and a lot of nice coffee places/ restaurant were in close vicinity. We would definitely stay at the Bedspread Hostel again!

- Great location, about a 10-minute walk from Khao San Road. -The room was overall excellent. - Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. - Facilities were clean and well-maintained.

- The room lacked a table or surface to place personal items, which made it feel cluttered. A side table or small desk would be a valuable addition. - The atmosphere was quite quiet, and I had limited interaction with other travelers. As a solo traveler, I was hoping for more opportunities to connect, even though I wasn’t seeking a party hostel.
