Love the hotel itself. Towels and sheets were all clean and new. Bed was the right firmness for me. Got 3 pillows and slept like a baby. Staff were accomodating and nice. Location was perfect ifvyou want to visit temples and khaosan night matket in the old bangkok area. Our room was located near the busy street in front but was really quiet. It was soundproofed well. Room was betteer in person versus the pictures.

the room and the pool is amazing

People are allowed to smoke in the pool and common areas. Ashtrays for all over the place so it has a very strong smell of cigarette. if you dont like cigarette just like you are better of finding another place to stay

The pool, the pool! The rooms are lovely, so clean and comfortable. I do dislike that smoking is tolerated around the pool/decking and on the morning sun terrace one floor above, and suggest they make at least one terrace accessible and completelty smoke free

I was on the return leg of my trip and the ongoing construction in the annex to the hotel, below the pool/deck area was bothersome, although I think it won't last long..

Gym is very basic but does the job. Bed/mattress could be comfier.

At first, everything seemed fine with our stay at this hotel in Bangkok. The room was decent, the staff was friendly, and they provided fresh towels and water daily.

However, things took a turn in the evening when we started noticing cockroaches in the bathroom. That was a dealbreaker—we just couldn’t stay in a room like that. We immediately reported it to the manager, and to their credit, they handled it well and moved us to another room. Thankfully, the new room was clean, and we had no further issues.

A little sanctuary away from the Bangkok madness. Excellent location and really nice standard hotel. Once you get in your room the noise from the road, surrounding buildings disappears. Great sound insulation meant I had a restful sleep each night. Pool is nice, so sitting on the decking chilling was a must after long, hot walking days. Staff were efficient, but reception were not particularly chatty. Cleaners were always polite and very good at their jobs.

The shower was not great, took ages to get warm and had low pressure. No big concern, but I do like a nice shower.

For the price you pay, this is an amazing find! We loved the attention to detail, the cleanliness of the hotel, the ample storage provided in the room, and the size of it. My partner is still talking about how big the bathroom was! The AC worked really well, and it was great to have a fridge in our room. The pool was small but beautiful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located on a busy road, but in a nice, quaint local neighborhood, and it was easy to move around the city. We also appreciated the opportunity to pay extra for an early check in, which was quite useful since we had traveled a long way.

As other reviews have mentioned, the AC is quite loud, but it honestly kinda worked like a white noise machine? As a light sleeper myself, I wasn't too bothered by it. The wifi is per room only, so it was a bit annoying that we wouldn't be able to use it when using the pool for example. Honestly, nothing major!

Overall impression of hotel is really modern appealing layout with 3 storey high lobby connected with pool on 1st floor and restaurant on ground floor. Pool is really refreshing in the shadow from the tree and rest of the hotel. Breakfast was little too few choices (sandwich, salad or rice) and it was only a la carte, served with fruits and some kind of dessert. Only possibility was coffee, no tea. Rooms are spacious and really clean, air conditioning was working ok, maybe bit tot loud. The location is really close to khao san road, but to grand palace and other wats we had to take taxi.

Breakfast should have more options

The hotel has a charming design, and you can really see how the heritage of the old house was preserved and beautifully transformed into a modern hotel. The swimming pool area is lovely, offering a peaceful spot to relax. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the location is excellent — many tourist attractions are just a short distance away.

While the hotel must have been stunning when it was newly renovated, it’s clear that maintenance is a challenge, and some areas are starting to show wear. Also, we noticed there wasn’t much assistance with carrying luggage to the room, which could be improved to enhance the guest experience.

Rooms were serviced every day and new water and shampoo provided. My room was clean, with good white bed linen. The room was spacious. Shower was hot and powerful. WiFi was good. Aircon effective.

There was no restaurant as advertised. There is a cafe with a limited menu with limited opening times. When I tried to use the pool, someone was there with a loud speaker playing their own music. The property was a distance from the centre and on a main road meaning Grab was necessary to go anywhere. My window looked directly onto a wall. Windows outside my room had a “stylish” grill across them, making it feel dark and obstructing the view. I thought it was expensive.
