The staff for breakfast were very helpful, e.g. asking if wanted to order omelette, etc., when I informed the staff that my father in law was celebrating his 69th birthday, the manager visited our room with a tart and a hand made card. Thank you! We enjoyed that there was a convenience store located at the ground floor, easy to get the toiletries or some additional snacks for hotel guests.

The pillows were very soft, I'm a large guy so I needed something with a bit more support for my neck. The breakfast buffet spread had limited choices. Location was in a quiet alley, so it didn't have my favorite food carts around.

Quick check in and check out. Wonderful coffee (The Coffee Shop). Pool open until 00:00. Close to Terminal 21. Quiet (if you choose a room opposite the road) Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Fixed bed.

Small balconies are not suitable for sitting on. The elevators have too low capacity in building A. Long waiting times at breakfast and at check-in/check-out. Requested extra bed in the room, no extra guest, just a bed, then it costs 44USD/night, completely unreasonable cost to get an extra bed for the room. The pool area cannot be used when it gets dark, extremely many mosquitoes. Avoid accommodation facing the lake if you want peace and quiet. Traffic can be heard 24/7 all the way up to floor 30!!!

Whenever I visit Bangkok (four times a year), I always stay at the Shama Lakeview Asoke. As normal, I requested that my room be located in Tower A, thus providing easy access to both the extremely well-equipped gym and large swimming pool. My request was arranged by 'Dream' from the Shama Reservations Team and the assistance from 'Mew' whilst checking-in was excellent. The Shama Lakeview Asoke is an excellent choice when staying in Bangkok, very highly recommended and we are looking forward to our next visit in a couple of months time.

Quite simply, nothing!!

I absolutely loved my stay at Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok! This was my fifth visit to Bangkok, and I can confidently say this was by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable — it felt like a home away from home. The staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is also fantastic — quiet yet very close to everything you need. I especially appreciated the calm lake view and the overall peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely be staying here again on my future trips. Highly recommend!

Wonderful views, very nice staff and the availability of a three bedroom suite. It is a significant improvement from the previous Somerset Lakepoint that was located at the same property, but which was also excellent and I stayed many times!

The air conditioning is not adequate in the lobby areas at all, and three elevators is not sufficient to support the size of these buildings. We ended up waiting quite a long time for elevators relative to newer hotels. If you spend more than a few minutes in the lobby, waiting for a ride or something, you might start sweating. -If they could improve those two items we would stay again for sure.

I like the location Im staying there many times before. service was great as always.

We were upset by a concierge staff which demanded us to give way to another family. The reason was because we didn’t booked the shuttle with him. We had followed the hotel procedure to ask for a shuttle service to send us to the nearby 7-11 shop near the Asok BTS station. We were vert patient waiting for our turn where there were two family queuing in front of us. When it reached our turn, the incident and the attitude of the concierge staff upset us and it spoiled our day (27/12).

The pool is good. The washing machine in the room is quite handy for us. The location is ok. But the shuttle really makes it good because the hotel is quite deep in a narrow street. The shuttle can take to a spot that is on the Main Street of the mrt and bts station. Without the shuttle I wouldn’t call it great location because for us there’s not much choices to eat close by. The good thing on the street is the four massage places across from the hotel.

The airco is on the noisy side. And the wind is quite strong. The room is not as clean as we expected for the price.

We come every 6 months and the rooms are always spacious and very clean. The service at lobby level is very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant as the shopping area and rail service is only 500 meters walk. I also loved the lake nearby of which I loved doing my morning walk/jog. The lake is 1.8 km for one circuit.

It's only a small thing, I found that our bathroom did not have a shower screen and this made it a bit difficult when showering, this is the first time we have had this happen though. Also the lifts are a bit slow.

Location is great. Shuttle service is convenient. Pool is lovely and big. Room has everything you need.

Airconditioner in the room only had 2 fan settings and it was very loud. The pool area needs more deck chairs and umbrellas. On check in the staff could run through information about the property and what it offers and maybe provide a map of the local area. Even point out concierge who can provide information on things to see and do.
