As other people have noted some of the furniture/ decor is a little tired but the place was clean and comfortable and this seems to have been a common combination in my price range across SE Asia. I only booked 2 days in advance but got an upgrade to a suite, which was great. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and be entertained nearby but no late night noise. Benjakitti park (10/12 mins walk) is a beautiful, tranquil oasis and, for me, much nicer and more interesting than Lumphini. There is a nice rooftop (only 5 storeys) pool and staff were friendly and helpful.I'd happily stay here again.

Nothing really. I guess it would have been nice to have a little chair and table on the balcony but this didn't detract from an enjoyable stay

The rooms / suites are an excellent example of properties built 20-30 yrs ago in the centre of Bangkok. They're far bigger, more spacious, than more modern properties. This was exactly what we were looking for. We took a Executive Suite One Bedroom with Balcony for 11 nights. The price is the same (or even slightly less) than a one bed hotel room in a more modern 3 or 4 star hotel in the same area. However, at the Admiral Suites we got a living room, kitchen, large bedroom & bathroom. It was very comfortable, very spacious, and very good for living / relaxing.

The location is excellent for the BTS Skytrain at Phrom Phong and Asoke, and it's very good for shopping malls (Emporium), bars & restaurants. However, Soi 22 is a very busy soi. After a couple of days it became a bit of a hassle to walk up & down the soi, it is a far busier soi than Soi 20 or Soi 18. The kitchen in the room could be a little better equipped, for example a toaster & a bread knife would have much improved the utility of the facility.

I have stayed here before and everything was good. Big rooms with properly equipped kitchen and separate living room meant far more space than normal. Quiet location and very efficient front desk staff.

I was lucky to have a room on the side of the building facing a quiet lot. It's worth paying the extra for that, since two of the four sides are on streets, and one of them is very busy. The A/C worked well and service was good. The pool was very welcome after a hot day.

Given that the tap water isn't safe to drink, more water bottles would be nice. The cleaners left 2x 500 ml bottles each day, but the front desk was unwilling to provide more and sent me to 7/11. The fitness room is very unequipped for anyone looking to lift more than 10 lbs.

Huge room with two separate office nooks and kitchen area. Very friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. Very walkable location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, a 7-eleven with an ATM right across the street, and maybe a 15 minute walk to the subway. I'll absolutely stay here again.

When the property arranges an airport transfer, you need to be sure you save enough cash to pay the driver because they can't charge it to your room or credit card. Fortunately there's an ATM across the street.

A large room, ( larger than most) with a kitchen that is fitted out only to eat takeaway food, not cook, but that was all I needed. The bed was kingsize bed and had its own bathroom, all at a reasonable price . Great wifi.

It was quite a walk to Sukhumvit Road along broken footpaths but there was an air conditioned shortcut half way through the Gourmet Market into Emsphere. The bathroom needs a real update. The shower over the bath is hard to manage as the water goes along the bath rim onto the floor. The lobby and rooms could do with a bit of an update.

excellent price for what was delivered. I had one of the larger suite rooms for about 5 days. Clean room, good facilities. Safe. Good location to cheap restaurants, and a large mall that has a fantastic food court. Good air conditioning. Nice pool. Washing facilities on site. it's not a 5 star hotel, But if you know this going in, it's a great place to stay.

Staff were amazing, nice place and location

a few issues with door cards etc and no hot water .this was not a major issue , only reason I would not stay there again is management. I tried to change my check in as flight was changed on me only to move to whole stay by the same amount and was told no . Also tried to extend and was told for 6 days 15000bt but online price was only 8000bt

The staff were very friendly and helpful , very pleasant stay , rooms were large , although a little old and out dated , but for the price , very good value . Cleaned every day , water and clean towels , Lisa on front desk always greeted you with a smile and a hello , it was a very nice stay , and defiantly will stay there again . Thank you Admiral for a very nice 3 weeks .

This is just scratching the surface , but would have like a table and chair on the balcony , also rooms need a little update .

A really spacious room, with small kitchenette, plus a little ‘office area’ which was great to sit and get some work done. Lots of storage space and shelving. Would be perfect for a longer stay. Good location for Sukhumvit area, just a 10 minute walk from the metro/ BTS. No noise from the street or other rooms in the hotel. The rooftop pool was also a bonus, providing a quiet oasis.

Nothing not to like! The decor is a little dated, with lots of brown woodwork, but the room is clean and spacious.
