Bed super comfortable, well appointed and clean. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from and fresh. Biggest attribute, friendly and abundantly helpful staff showing a willingness to keep clients happy, not just because it's a requirement of the job. Location was perfect for my needs with easy access nearby to everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Highly recommended as a quality venue. Security and gateway staff excellent, always know who you are and welcome you with a smile!

This is not really a didn't like, more so a couple of constructive comments regarding breakfast. 1. I've got used to it but, bacon is best enjoyed when fried and a bit crispy rather than just heated and limp. 2. Not a huge deal but, as coffee is included in the buffet breakfast selection, offering takeaway cups would be a positive. Less mess to clean up and allows tables to be freed up more quickly instead of being occupied by someone sitting and drinking a coffee because there's no other choice save to pay for one.

Our second stay at Maitria. Very friendly welcoming place with an excellent buffet breakfast included in the price. Location is excellent and room was a good size and very clean, Bathroom has a really big walk-in shower with great water pressure. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. We’ll be back !

Perfect location nice and central but so quiet! Super comfy beds, great shower and lovely clean well equipped kitchen! Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was ok, would have liked more western options and a nice latte but it was really the only small downside to an otherwise lovely hotel! We will be back!

The rooms are very comfortable, very well designed, very practical. The sofa, armchair and kitchen facilities are a real bonus over other hotel rooms. The bathroom was excellent (good pressure in a large shower etc). The location is excellent: close walking to the Asoke intersection (MRT & BTS), Terminal 21, Emporium etc. Soi 18 is a lovely shaded soi. The staff at the hotel were great, polite and friendly. Having a Coffee Club on the ground floor is also a bonus.

A small thing: we were placed on a Smoking Floor (I think I forgot to click 'non-smoking' when booking). The smell of smoke from the other rooms was fairly strong, particularly at night.

Great location - very close to Sukhumvit and Asok stations yet still hidden from the noise, good breakfast with a lot of options, nice recreational area at the rooftop. Air-conditioning was okay (not loud) in our room.

The room itself is outdated, and some pieces of furniture need replacement; it was too small for 3 people - due to the placement of an extra bed, there was nowhere to simply sit. Kitchen lacked a lot of necessary kitchenware - something was provided on request, but we had to buy a normal knife, for instance. The regular coffee from the coffee machine at the breakfast was horrendous

Clean & tidy, centrally located , enjoyed our stay

Property was ok but the behaviour at coffee shop staff at the reception collecting breakfast coupons was appalling & rude. Forgot coupons in room , was listening at all & very rude in-spite of telling her somebody went to get the coupons, she was not accepting & very pushy. Was trying to look at the menu , this lady was following all the way asking to show breakfast coupons. Didn’t like her behaviour & didn’t go for breakfast & checked out. Returned the coupons to reception & had breakfast outside. It was in coffee club & lady with a scarf.☹️

The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The place was so clean and the staff were so friendly. The location was excellent walking distance from terminal 21 and emsphere and there were loads of massage and nail places near by along with a 7eleven at the bottom of the road. So many restaurants to choose from in the area but I loved ICONSIAM the best for food and price.

I didn’t like the breakfast, there were no halal meat options and it was the same every day. Not enough choices and I didn’t like the set up of breakfast the food didn’t look appealing but with all the options for food outside this wasn’t an option.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, if your looking for a hotel that gives you great city access to bkk and not far from bts and shopping malls at a bit more of a budget price then this place is perfect, breakfast is a tad limited but what is available is very tasty. We had a small issue with room due to some renovation work, however staff dealt with the matter very professionally and changed us to a new room, rooms themselves are very clean and modern and i must say i was impressed for the value.

Only negative was we came back to our room one day and door was wide open we had phones on tables and other items we assumed cleaner was in the room however they were not, we waited around 20mins in room and still no cleaner so we were a bit concerned if we had not have been there our room security was compromised, as room was right next to the lift so had people often stood outside waiting. We did mention to front desk who did say they would mention to the cleaning team.

I had a wonderful stay at Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 Bangkok. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Room service was efficient and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, offering a wide variety of dishes, from Western options to authentic Thai cuisine—a great way to start the day! The security team was also fantastic—not only were they friendly, but they were also very helpful when getting in and out of vehicles/taxis, making the whole experience seamless. Overall, a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and hassle-free stay in Bangkok.

Nothing to complain about, but the only minor point would be that the windows from the outside could be cleaner, but that didn’t affect my stay.
