Stayed here for 5 nights initially and rebooked after a short trip to another town for the following week because it was so good. Torn is friendly and the rooms are secure, clean and well located. They offer tours of all kinds and can provide any info on the city you need. Rooms have fridges, bathrooms, hangers, WiFi, a desk, several power points and toothbrush kits. I thinks it's my new favourite hotel in Chiang Mai because it's near the south gate and there's lots to explore nearby like bars, Thai kitchens and the local markets only a walk away. A good night's sleep away from the club's can also be found here. Many thanks to the cleaning staff and owners for maintaining this place and feeding the many stray cats who count this as their home. 🙏

Literally nothing.

The room was very clean. As is, very very clean with no trace of dust even though this room seemed like it was not used for a long time. Room was cleaned everyday of our stay. The owner was helpful and quick to arrange another room for us after we found out that our booking was not informed to the guest house even though we have paid full amount on Booking dot com. The guest house is inside Old Town, but near the outer corner so not really suitable for family with toddlers. We had to use taxi everyday. Well this is due to my bad decision making skill so.. Restaurants nearby was not good, okay price but tasted bad :)

We stayed in the triple room on the 3rd floor. It was cute, huge, really clean and had a super comfy bed and pillows. They put a small table and chairs on the shared balcony for us so we could sit outside and enjoy the nice view from the 3rd floor. There is a great shared area on the ground floor with free snacks, coffee and tea. The family that works there are incredibly nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Some people complain about the noise from the nearby bars but we didn’t have a problem with the noise at all in our room. In fact, it was nice to sit outside on the balcony and listen to some of the live music!

Great location - close to bars, markets, attractions but quiet enough to get a good night of rest. The shared kitchenette and garden area was a nice touch as you can meet other guests and hang out with the lovely cats.

Room was a bit humid - probably due to the shower/bathroom configuration. Mosquitoes easily get into the room through the bathroom fan.

Very cute rooms with a shared inner courtyard and garden. It’s quite charming! The family rooms with a loft are a special find in Chiang Mai. There is a washer and dryer you can pay to use and friendly staff. The location is great with plenty of restaurants, bars, and markets nearby. We enjoyed our stay here!

A great and quiet hotel in a wonderful Chiang Mai location. The staff is kind and helpful, and these were possibly the most comfortable beds we've experienced so far in all of Thailand.

The water would get strangely too hot out of nowhere, but honestly not a big deal to just turn it off and turn it back on again, and easily preferable to not having hot water at all. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, was that a kettle was provided but no coffee or tea.

This place is perfectly located near a great food market on the less touristy (read: quieter) side of the old town. Still only a few minutes walking to Saturday and Sunday markets. The staff were truly exceptional; they went above and beyond to make me and my mother comfortable. Note that the rooms do not have balconies. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Free bananas, tea, coffee, and water. We would stay here again in a heartbeat on the next trip to Chiang Mai.

Convenient location. The evening market and the Saturday market are within walking distance. You can also walk to the central temples. Responsive owner.

A little noisy due to nearby bars, but this is not the fault of this guest house.

Location near Chiang Mai Gate (South part of Old City) which is walkable to many locations like Waroros Market, and Night Bazaars. Size of room is big and comfy!

Pantry area could be cleaner.

Such a friendly nice stay in Chiang Mai. Perfect location. The room was very good, clean and quite new. The owner helped us so much, we also could leave our luggage in a store during a 3 day trip. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.
