The location is perfect. just few mins from the Market and different nice trample. quit area! the staff are super nice and friendly. happy to recommend and give you some contact to make sure you’re getting the best price. room is super clean!

not place to seating and chill,so I’ll say more for couple and group and less for single people that are try to find company.

Yen Aura is situated in a perfect location, right in the heart of the old city, meaning you have everything you need in walking distance or even beautiful temples like Doi Suthep just a short drive away. But what really shined was our host One One, she was so personable... offering local insight and overall giving me the best experience I could get in my short stay in Chiang Mai, she showed me beauty spots I'd of never found by myself or through the many tour guides. Whenever we encountered an issue such as the air con malfunctioning in one of the rooms, One One was quick to prepare an additional room for us when the attempt to fix the aircon wasn't possible. It may not be perfect but for the price you pay and the hosting you get from One One, it makes any flaws you might find be completely negligible, I'll never forget the memories I made in Chiang Mai and I have our host to thank for that!

As mentioned, the rooms aren't perfect but this is by no means a deal breaker as you won't be lounging in them! Also One One won't always be there as she has other obligations, be sure to check if she will be there if you want it to be extra special!

We loved staying here. The owner is the friendliest, most accommodating person we've met during our whole trip. We had booked a 2 day tour, booked for just the night, but said we'd like to book for the night when we'd be back in Chiang Mai. He let us keep the room to leave our stuff in for the other night we weren't there without charge. Offered laundry service and offered us umbrellas when it rained. Just really thoughtful. The room is clean, the bed is comfy for a Thai style matress, good air conditioning, and a great location. Good price too for a simple room with airconditioning in that area. Also points for feeding the stray cat that has chosen this place as her home ;)

The place is really nice and clean. The location is excellent! I would definetly suggest this hotel if you wanna stay in the old town of Chang Mai. The owner is the nicest! He is professional and helpful. He speaks good English and he is always ready to help. He booked for me and my boyfriend a tour, he gave us a lot of suggestions on where to go and how. He also allowed us to leave the luggages there one more night since we were going to spend one night to a village close to chang mai and did not want to bring the backpacks with us. We arrived that there were two water bottles in the room, together with making the bad, they also leave new bottles of water.

We loved our stay here. It is conveniently located in the center of the old town, which makes it super easy to walk around and reach every corner of the town within the wall, and some of them outside the wall, too. The gentleman at the reception was also very kind and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay worth it. He gave us a lot of tips of places to visit -cultural, cafes, restaurants, parks, etc-, and each of them was better than the one before. He also spoke really good English, which was greatly appreciated as it’s less common that one might think from hospitality workers. Would 100% recommend and stay there again if I ever go back to Chiang Mai!

Originally we booked for 3 night, but extended to stay for 7 nights in Chiang Mai. Tony - the owner - was amazing! He booked all the trips for us, recommended some places, gave us some information about the area etc. if it wasn’t for him, we would not have enjoyed the trip as much. Location is good, about 10-15 minutes walk to everything within the old city, but the street is quiet and you don’t hear the motorbikes from the road. The room was basic, but comfortable.

Very central location so fantastic. The owner is absolutely lovely, he can't do enough for you at all, he works so hard, cleaning constantly, providing things for you, restaurant tips etc. Although central, it's down a little alley and is really quiet. Air con is really good. They put out a little breakfast table with snacks and hot drinks every morning which is lovely and my son loved the alphabet crackers and pineapple jam biscuits and the owner would just let him go and grab some throughout the day, they were really kind.

I think the rooms could maybe have a kettle in there and a little fridge, but that's just being pedantic as they cleared a space in the staff fridge for us to use for the kids and gave me a kettle from the kitchen for the room.

Location is in the heart of old town . It is in the small street without cars and motorcycles so you don’t have street and traffic noise. Nice manager, eager to help you. Everyday they leave free water in front of room.

We stayed in family room. There is always very heavy smell in bathroom. There is an aspirator but it doesnt help much. Maybe different in other rooms.

Affordable hotel in a great location. Grab pick up point right outside the hotel. The owner is very accommodating, friendly and their English is exceptionally good in comparison to most people in Chaing Mai. He gave us many different pieces of advice that were great

The toilet got stuck and wouldn't flush, although when we told the staff they quickly fixed this. While showering once the entire power fell for the entire bathroom and took like 15-20 minutes before it came back. The mattresses aren't very comfortable.

The staff at Yen Aura is very friendly and helpful. We arrived with a night train from Bangkok and they let us drop the backpacks in their back garden early morning before check in time. The host gave us great tips, oldest temple, best hikes, best food, and much more. Great to kick start your visit and experience Chang Mai. Ok air-conditioning, rooms reasonably comfortable and clean. toilets are private and one on the ground floor which can be used before and after check n an check out. Silent street, no cars nor vendors, great value for the money.
