The location is very good. 5-10 mins walk from the Thephae Gate and night markets. The room looked decent and spacious. Floor and furniture were clean. And it was really quiet. The pool is nice but close too early at 7pm. Staff are friendly. Good value of money.

I arrived at 1pm and there was no one at the front desk. I waited for few minutes until a staff walked past and then she got another staff to check in for us. I suggest to get a ring bell if there is empty reception. The linen was alright. I found a patch of brown dirt on the blanket cover. But it was too late to get cleaning lady to change it. They just gave me a new one. I didn't change for them. Luckily AC wasn't too cold. I just slept with the blanket cover. And waited until next day to change it. The hot water wasn't stable. It got cold after few minutes. Needed to close the tap and wait for awhile for hot water. Only one key card, would be more convenient to have 2. Once again, still, there is a good value of money. But you gotta expect these..

Very good location

Forgot to hang the sign to clean the room but asked the receptionist to arrange cleaning. Room however was not cleaned when we came back by the end of the day. After mentioning the new receptionist however changed the basics in our room.

The hotel being located just outside a more main street is nice for the quiet at night. The front and reception area are stylish and clean, with a superb pool just beyond, and a very nice bar adjacent. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy.

The airconditionar was not the strongest.

The air con was quite noisy so I did struggle to sleep but I am a light sleeper

Lovely Hotel in a great location. Very nice staff who are always cleaning and are happy to help you with anything you need. Lovely clean bathroom, with shampoo, conditioner etc are provided. Beautiful big comfortable bed and nice fluffy pillows. Cleaning of the room was done daily. Excellent hotel, highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Everything was perfect. The staff is very nice and does everything to please customers. Special thank you to the lady at the reception who spent half an hour with me to book bus tickets to go Chiang Rai on the company website, very helpful.

No breakfast / No coffee - but easy to find around the hotel

I had a wonderful stay at The Chimes hotel. The hotel looked very new and modern. The pool was well maintained. My room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Front desk and housekeeping staff were all very nice and provided good service. Location was also great and walking distance to many tourist attractions.

My only criticism is hand soap was not provided in the room.

The location in Old City was great, had a pool on site for hot days. Though they didnt have breakfast, there are coffee shops and cafes nearby.

I would have liked breakfast on site and included.

- the bed was so squeaky literally every time you even rolled over - the aircon really just did not work properly - could have offered morning refreshments/snacks by the pool
