Big room, good quiet location in a small Alley, just 1 to 2 min walk from main roads, in either direction. Within 5 mins walk to Chiangmai gate morning market & night market. Central location makes it easy to walk around old town, visiting temples, massage, food, night markets etc. 7 eleven and many food options within 5 mins walk. Lady owner Joey, friendly & helpful. Good bed, Air Cond, bar fridge, water heater, electric kettle, attached bathroom available. 2 bottles water replaced daily. No daily room cleaning but u can request. Owner can arrange all tours, taxi booking etc at good prices. Room rental good value for money. A table and 2 chairs provided for you to chill on the balcony outside the room.

No hooks for hanging clothes in room and bathroom. Hope these can be added and the place will be perfect.

I originally booked four nights but ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much! The location is perfect: walking distance to main attractions, night markets, restaurants, and a 7/11. Despite being close to all the fun stuff, it always felt quiet and safe (even as a solo female traveler). The accommodation is simple but has everything you might need, it's very clean, and they provide free bottled water every day. And the best part is the people! Joey and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Amazing value for money, and they also offer great deals on tours. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

PSD Hotel is just the place we were looking for. It is located within the city centre, close to places of attractions, Chedi Luang Temple, Phra Singh Temple etc, markets, and with many eateries and restaurants around the corner. Yet it is quiet as it is located in an alley, away from the traffic noise at the main road. The room has a TV, fridge, aircon and fan and electric kettle. We were each given a bottle of drinking water everyday. It is excellent value for money if one is looking for a room at a convenient location, clean and comfortable bed (firm but not hard) to return to. Joey (not sure about the spelling), the manager, made our stay memorable by arranging day trips suitable for a family with elderly member. We will definitely book PSD hotel on our next trip to Chiang Mai.

Stayed here multiple times during our north Thailand tour. The staff are absolutely excellent and we got on very well with them. The beds are actually some of the comfiest we've had since being in Asia, the other great thing is that the room has a fridge which is really useful. The only things I would like to mention is that all the rooms had a few ants in which is normal in Asia but they do get annoying at times. Also the air con isn't the coldest but still cool. The fans on the roof make some strange noises and it sometimes disrupts sleep and in one of the rooms the sheet was a stained a small amount. However, we really do recommend this great location hotel, if it wasn't for the small picky bits I've mentioned in this review they would've got a 10/10, thank you very much for a lovely stay 🙂😊

Perfect location in the old city at walking distance of everything but still quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I like the beds (compared to other hotels where matress is sometimes too hard). It has all the basic necessities in a clean room at a price that can't be beaten. Bonus points for the friendly staff. My (Thai) wife and I come to this hotel every year for Songkran despite having our own house in Chiang Mai. The location is just so good and the fact that we come here every year, should be a testimonial to how much we like it here.

The staff were very helpful. Arrived late at night, so they allowed me to go ahead to my room and do the proper check-in formalities the next day. Asked them to help me with my laundry, and they were quick to assist in returning it the same day. The lady who managed the hotel goes the extra mile in helping customers, and if you're looking for activities, she can greatly assist you with it with much cheaper offers.

I am not sure if housekeeping was supposed to be done, but none was done on the day I was accommodated.

A comfortable bed, AC and fan were working well, there was a small fridge, a hairdryer and a kettle. Two bottles of water to start. The host was very nice and let us leave the luggage, heated our food in a microwave for us and kept some things in the fridge after checkout. There was a balcony with a table - a nice place to eat your food. There were nets in the windows. It's good the room was so bright ( had two opposite windows) because we could see the mosquitos (there weren't any). The room was quiet which was very important for us.

There was no separate space for the shower. The bathroom looked used and there were zero shelves or tables to put your things in the bathroom.

Good location. Clean and spacious room with a fridge, air con and private bathroom. There was a stand with lots of information leaflets in reception. The family that run this hotel were very friendly and helpful, they arranged a taxi to the airport for us at 5 in the morning for just 180 bht. There is a 7/11 just around the corner. Our room was ready for us when we arrived at 9am even though check in was not until 2pm. Great value for money.

Nothing, for the the price this hotel is great!

I liked the big bed, having both aircon and a fan in the room.(not all places have both). Fridge, cups and kettle in the room. I received 2 bottles of water every day. The owner is very helpful and friendly. WiFi is strong. Location perfect - close to 7-11, bike rental, restaurants and night food market. Quiet.

Location in heart of chaing mai. staff very helpful and approachable. good english. room spacious and decent beds. Quiet no noise at night. Very cheap and for the money would stay again.

Ants in room, couldnt eat in room or leave any crumbs. Bathroom small and became flooded from showers. Shower low pressure and cool.
