Breakfast was fresh and tasty with varied choice changing each day. There was so much to choose from we kept some of the sweet delicacies back to our room to enjoy later in the day! The staff were helpful and friendly, so polite and accommodating, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The undercover lounge area was a surprise bonus, a serene and cool space to relax with koi swimming and the sound of water fountains creating a beautiful atmosphere. The pool was a good size and temperature, clean and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.

Bed too hard and room was small but large balcony and fantastic lounge area gave lots of extra space.

The location was excellent. It was so easy to get around Chiang Mai from this location, either by walking or Grab or taxi. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The pool was refreshing, long enough to do a few laps, and the gardens around it gave the interior a very relaxing, calm feel. You could forget you were in the middle of a large city. There was a very good buffet breakfast, and the room was very comfortable. We liked that it was not a huge resort and that it felt like you were in Thailand with Thai hospitality, not in an international hotel that could be anywhere in the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to others who are travelling to Chiang Mai.

This is a really nice hotel ideally located for easy walking around the old quarter within the city walls. Our room was large enough for our 5 night stay and we had a lovely veranda looking onto the gardens which was great to sit out on. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices and variety, also very tasty. I would recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Chiang Mai.

The configuration of the pool area is a bit weird meaning that the seating area is very restricted with only 2 loungers and 4 chairs within the location. Additionally, there are no umbrellas meaning that there is no shade from approximately 1200 onwards at the pool.

There is a nightly pounding bass music noise that can be heard till 400 am coming from somewhere close in the city centre - staff was kind enough to change our room so the sounds were more muffled - not the hotel fault but maybe look at ways to soundproof the rooms better - this was irritating especially if you are a light sleeper. Even with this issue, I would still come back and be a return guest.

Everything was great, a superb staff that was very helpful with our lil child, always joking around and being just super kind, a truly great experience. We came from Bangkok and felt the calm and relaxing atmosphere of Chiang Mai. The hotel is perfectly located as you have great restaurants and tourist attractions close by, everything in walking distance or you can take a grab for further tours, still not expensive. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options and the fresh fruits. We as a small family can highly recommend the location and the hotel, outstanding was the staff but honestly speaking everything was really great.

interior area very peaceful, with unique pool and water spouts canceled any outside noise and a few lounge chairs at different locations around the pool for some privacy. lots of plants. breakfast was superb and eat inside or outside near the pool. staff were excellent, location great. I've stayed in Chiang Mail many times over decades and this was the best, well worth the price. I got a room with glass-enclosed patio, first floor.

mattress was a bit old but I still slept good. I don't know if they are replacing mattresses over time. still plenty soft and good enough. I forgot to ask about this. consider it a very minor issue.

The hotel is like an oasis, with flowers decorating the common areas. We loved having breakfast outside next to the pool, a wonderful start to the day. There was also a lovely open lounge area downstairs, very relaxing and beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. We liked the traditional decor with wooden furniture. The location in the old town is great, easy to walk around and explore. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The personnel was incredibly courteous and kind. And the house cats were friendly! We had a wonderful four-night stay.

The mattress was very firm which took me some getting used to. My husband slept as usual, no issues. The only thing I did not like was the so-called gym. It had four pieces of cardio equipment, one of which (the bike) did not work and one of the two treadmills was sagging in the center. It's a small space with a glass wall facing the morning sun. No AC, water fountain or gym towels, no spray & paper to wipe off the equipment.

Our stay at Kodchasri Thani Hotel was lovely. The hotel's convenient location within the walled city made it easy to explore the historic temples. The room was spacious, comfortable and traditional, featuring some Thai style furniture and decoration. The breakfast buffet offered a delicious array of fresh fruits, authentic Thai dishes, and the highlight: made-to-order eggs. For those who have an early morning tour, the hotel provides a convenient breakfast box that should be ordered the day before (until 4pm). The box typically includes a sandwich, fruits (bananas), a yogurt and a juice box. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Always greeting us with a warm smile. Overall, Kodchasri Thani Hotel provided a charming and authentic experience in the heart of Chiang Mai.

Lovely, large room and bathroom with very comfortable bed and pillows. I loved the seating area in the room. The garden is beautiful and serene to start the day with breakfast outside or just sit and enjoy the breeze. The lounges and pool are great escape when you want a break from seeing the nearby temples. Breakfast had a lot of choice and variety of food. Location was perfect and easy to explore everywhere in the Old Town and surrounding areas. Lots of bars, cash points, places to eat/drink just minutes away from hotel. The staff were always helpful and available with anything I needed. They even made Flower offerings of the Loy Krathong festival for guests to take if they wanted. Lovely touch

Staff were lovely and the hotel has an old style charm about it. Pool was designed so several groups could use it and still have a sense of privacy. Gardens are lush and gorgeous. Breakfast was standard hotel Asian buffet - I stuck to fruit and yogurt and congee or egg on toast but there were plenty of other dishes on offer. Lovely big room for the price.

A/c was quite old and very noisy which might worry some people. Similarly bed was very hard which was fine with us but could worry some. Maybe a shortage of power points if you need to connect several items. No hooks or towel rails to hang things (this is one of my pet peeves when travelling but again probably not a problem for everyone)
