Very friendly staff, breakfast was lovely the fried rice was amazing, there are cats around who are super friendly. The room is a good size for Asian countries, lovely shower room. A small pool to cool off in. Can’t fault the accommodation itself at all.

The only think is that there are no bars within walking distance, it’s not at the main Tha Phae gate but the one directly opposite. It’s a 10 min walk to the start of the main shopping area but about 30mins to Tha Phae gate. We just used Grab taxi everywhere very cheap and reliable only 90Bt to Tha Phae gate or the night market

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful family-run hotel. The owners are genuine, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They helped us organize activities also. It's a wonderfully quiet, secluded place with a refreshing pool and garden which we enjoyed. I wish we could stay a week longer! Info: Some rooms are on the ground floor, some rooms are up stairs. Handful of restaurants in area. It's an easy 10 minute walk to Wat Phra Singh, but most other Old Town attractions are another 10 minutes beyond that. Good breakfast included. Owners speak good English.

The atmosphere is great, the garden is so lovely with the pool and the running water. It is so relaxing in the middle of the city. Everything is in close distance. The personnel is very friendly. I could book an excursion and transfer service to the airport. The breakfast is good. Would stay there again if in Chiang Mai.

I had to change the room because of my chaotic booking, I wasn't sure how many days I will stay in Chiang Mai, but that was my fault. However, I found that the room on the first floor was nicer than the room in the basement. Everything else was great 😃

Small and nice hotel at the edge of Chiangmai old town. Location is good, but in the opposite side where all the activities happening. But it's good it is very silent place, As you can expect from small hotels - breakfast was good, simple with a small choice but freshly prepared. Friendly helpful staff. Small, but very refreshing pool. Rooms are very well equipped and very clean.

Maybe a more closed hotel area, because now it is fully open coming from the street.

Stayed for three nights with my 13-Year-Old daughter. Great location, close to everything but tucked away and quiet on the edge of the downtown core. The staff are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast was included and good, with fresh brewed coffee, juice, fresh fruit, pastries, tea and your choice of things like scrambled eggs with sausage. The pool is small but cool and a great spot after a hot day touring.

Really nothing to complain about. We highly recommend.

We loved the quaint, home style feel to I Lanna House. The room was small yet comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Although cool, the pool was refreshing for a quick dip. We never left breakfast hungry!! The staff go above and beyond and so we loved the hospitality. We were able to leave our bags whilst travelling to Pai for a few days and upon return we were offered use of the outside pool shower, towels, coffee and snacks. All which made our onward journey to Bangkok more comfortable.

This place was nice. I think if I had it to do again I would stay a bit closer to the center of the Old City but that’s strictly because of the heat. The people at the desk were nice and there was coffee in the morning. Breakfast was fine though to be fair I didn’t eat it most days because I left early. I REALLY appreciated that they restocked the water on days I didn’t want housekeeping. Clean, air conditioned, nice shower, comfortable bed. Not much more you can want in my opinion. Note: if you’re looking for a luxury hotel to sit in all day, I’m not sure this is it. But that’s not what I was looking for nor is it what I expected!!

The location was a little far from the center of the old city. But it was doable!!

The staff were super helpful - reception was happy to answer any questions (in English), offer recommendations, and make bookings by request. Breakfast was far better than I expected, including some Thai desserts, fruits, pastries, and a choice from 4 main dishes (both Western and Asian). Laundry service was also quick. The rooms themselves are very new and clean with some beautiful lighting, and AC was powerful. Finally, the location next to one of the gates and the ring road - instead of in the middle of the old city - meant that it was much faster and cheaper when calling Grab/Bolt. Believe me, that one is important when it's too hot outside to walk for more than 10 minutes.

Excellent small hotel in Chiangmai old town. We had a big room with balcony. There is a small pool when ch we didn’t use because it was busy the one time we might have gone. Breakfast was good, simple with a small choice but freshly prepared. Friendly helpful staff. They have several lovely cats. In-house laundry very reasonably priced. We were there during Songkran and the hotel was an oasis of calm to which we returned after the water-soaked chaos in town.

Very elegant Thai style and the most comfortable of our 5 week trip to Thailand. The owners and staff are so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was a nice treat and the room was wonderful. It’s quiet there but close to everything you could need. The pool is small but beautiful even has a waterfall. The cats are cute and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommend. I own a BnB in Canada and my critical eye looks for details. I have nothing negative to say about our stay at i Lanna
