We had a really good stay at Marigold Lanna. The bed was really comfortable, everything was nice and clean and the room we booked had a small separate seating area which gave us adequate space for the 4 nights we were there. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location is also good - right on the edge of the old town within the city walls, you can reach mostly everything within the old city by foot or a quick taxi. It's also only a 6 minute drive from the airport.

Our room was facing the road and there was quite a lot of traffic noise. There are shutters you can close which provide an extra level of sound insulation, although these are a bit stiff to use and don't fully block out the sound. It wasn't a huge issue though. Our toilet seat was also a bit loose. We couldn't hear any other rooms or guests though, so the sound insulation between rooms is good.

Simply everything - very high standard for the price and Thailand , rooms (Deluxe) well equiped , clean , the staff very friendly and supportive , for breakfast you choose from variety of meals + you have cofee , juice , fruits selection and toast bread with marmelade . Locality just at the edge of “center square” of Chiang mai old city - and just 10 mins walk to the Night market - we recommend to visit , great food for low prices. We recommend to stay in this butique hotel.

The hotel has a chill yet elegant vibe, you will feel special there. Every little detail is thought through, from the decoration, reception desk, room layout and furnishing and toileteries. I especially enjoyed the little water station just behind the reception for a quick refreshment after coming back from the heat. The room had plenty of storing space, the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The beds vere comfy and adequately soft for me. There is nothing I disliked. I was worried that the location would be pretty far from the main attractions of the city, but it was easy to get around and enjoy the hidden corners of the Old Town. There is a wonderful park just a few steps outside of the hotel as well as a local restaurant with good food just a minute away for a quick bite. Despite windows to the main road, it was not loud at night.

The property and the rooms are good and always cleaned. The staff is helpful, they gave us a breakfast box even when we have to leave at 6 am.

Only a small window. The breakfast is good but a buffet would be better to have a wider choice. For example we are not used to have a savory breakfast so the only choice from their menu offers was waffles (which anyway are really good, and the fruit they give in addition is very good too).

The hotel and rooms were always very clean. The room was very spacious and the staff always nice.

Even though it's practically inside the old city, it feels far from everything. Not so easy to walk to and from the hotel to the main sites in the city. The rooms could use better ventilation as it smelled and felt humid.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are clean and big. Beds are comfortable. It is a small hotel so it is quiet. Late check-in went well, everything was carefully explained. Best coffee we had in Thailand so far. Considering the price we paid it was above our expectations. Highly recommended!

If I have to find a negative point (but only if I have to) is that you need to preorder the breakfast in advance (dish - it is not a buffet breakfast - and time).

I loved this hotel. Not only were the staff incredibly lovey and helpful but the rooms were nice and clean. The location was amazing, there was a market down the street with food and we also stumbled across the Sunday market in the middle of old town, which was amazing. The facilities are great, we had breakfast included which they prepared for us at the time we requested. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

Everything was great. No complaints. The bed was big and firm, the room was a descent size. The bathroom was average size. Had all the amenities we needed. The staff was lovely and accommodating. Very close to the airport.

It is like a 20/30minute walk from places so maybe that's a downside but it was fine with us. Everything was great.

Located in a quiet part of the old city. I usually stay near the night bazaar but I wanted to experience a different part of the city. Some nice restaurants and bars close by and not as touristy as other locations. The hotel is very nice. Comfortable and clean and a great value. I only stayed one night but I would definitely return. Nice staff. Everything was great.
