The hotel is very convenient for solo travelers like me, I thought the location was great, I walked a lot to some of the places I wanted to visit, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, atms, are just in the same area. I don’t like the busy, loud, party surroundings, so this location was perfect to avoid that. I managed to have an early check in, as my room was ready 1 hour before and I was so grateful as my journey started from Qatar and I had a long day before reaching Chiang Mai. Maybe something to highlight, there are 2 hotels name Rendezvous from the same owner, but the location is completely different..so it might be confusing when booking grab transport.

Didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast everybody was talking about, as my schedule was starting early every day :(

Mountain view room on 4th floor, I really liked the room and the balcony and view. Shower water pressure and temperature were great. Good amenities in the bathroom. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good supply of free water bottles. Breakfast was very tasty. Good location for exploring the old city. Good food options in easy walking distance. I didn't try the pool but it looked small but nice and they have separate towels for it. Definitely not a chain hotel - and all the better for being so, it felt like I was in real Thailand - in a good way.

There's nothing I didn't like. A couple of points to be aware of: It's down a narrow street with no pavements, but that is typical of Chiang Mai and nothing really to worry about. You are asked to choose your breakfast option on the evening before, but this wasn't too much of a hardship, saves on food waste - and the breakfasts were excellent.

Nice hotel with friendly staff in a convenient location. It is close to restaurants, cafes, cocktail bars, a convenience store and a 20 minute walk to temples and other areas in the Old City. Budget-friendly but room is adequate and comfortable enough. The mountain view from our room and balcony was nice. Good service and they were happy to provide complimentary bottled water and other supplies for the room on a daily basis.

It is worth noting there is a rooster nearby that may wake you early in the morning. Also, if you are going on group tours and day trips, be mindful that due to location being inside Old City you will probably be picked up first in the morning and dropped off last in the evening. The mattress was slightly too firm but not terrible.

The staff were very kind. They were short staffed on the front desk so one man was working a lot when we were there. He was so thoughtful and helpful. My daughter is a fussy eater and their breakfast was too much for her to eat so on request he tracked down a pineapple so she could just have that for breakfast. When I ordered a taxi to go to Pai at the last minute the taxi drivers insisted on almost tripling the price this happened twice. The man at reception was really helpful and arranged a taxi for us with a lovely older man who was genuine and very safe at driving which was so greatly appreciated

The breakfast is a small buffet with a large dish that is preordered. It was delicious but rather large for me but that’s not really an issue for some

The hotel room is nicely finished and was comfortable and large with balcony and view over nearby neighbourhood, wat and distant mountain. English speaking Staff were helpful, housekeeping particularly lovely and generous supply of replacement water in the room. Hotel is probably a little further from the Chiang Mai sights but only 10-15 minutes walk compared to many hotels. Foyer area has a great setup with Free coffee machine and hot/cold water refill and areas with couches, tables and chairs also next to the lounges round the nearby pool, good for relaxing and socialising. The area has a lot of roosters nearby so pretty noisy and as it's in a community some loud voices at night, as well as the 4 am going from the nearby wat which I quite enjoyed. The wifi dropped out a bit and needed relogging into. The breakfast was buffet continental not included in the tariff, with extra meals to be ordered and paid for separately. I found the breakfast expensive over all so didn't try though it looked nice. Because the room was quite expensive compared to other rooms and without breakfast I found the value not so good

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My second time in Chiang Mai and Rendezvous Classic House was simply excellent! It's conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance from several local temples. A community park, shops, and dozens of charming coffee shops and restaurants are just steps away. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable king-size bed. The balcony offered stunning views of the mountains, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. You can choose of having breakfast at the hotel or at one of the many nearby coffee shops. The pool was a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. It was sparkling clean and a welcome respite. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The daily room cleaning was thorough, and the complimentary water, coffee, hot chocolate, and even noodles were a very handy touch. Rendezvous Classic House exceeded our expectations. The combination of its convenient location, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and great value for money makes it a must-stay for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is excellent, and even more than I expected. The location is perfect, easy to find and to explore the town. The hotel is clean and the pool is great. The breakfast I didn’t take, but it seemed to be good. If I come back anytime to Chiang Mai, I’ll stay at Rendezvous.

The hotel was well run, staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was very well done with great fresh fruit and good choices. Coffee machine throughout the day appreciated. While the pool is small with limited seats (3 loungers) it was very well maintained and refreshing after hot days exploring. There are some additional mats on the ground to sit on. The bathroom had a good shower but heads up the toilet is positioned in a way that has half the leg room of an economy seat in an airplane. The decks are small but fit two chairs, ours overlooked the alleyway but you can pay for a "mountain" view. Be prepared for some roosters and dogs if you are on that side. We didn't mind. As in much of Thailand we found the bed hard but you do adjust 😀 . We would recommend this spot as for the price it was pleasant and convenient.

The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also ideal—tucked away in a quiet area but still close to key attractions and great local dining spots. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. I highly recommend Rendevous Classic House to anyone visiting Thailand. It’s a hidden gem that offers an exceptional experience, and I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

The location was excellent—just a six-minute walk from Nong Buak Park, where we could enjoy free yoga classes in the mornings. The Old City was easily accessible, with most destinations within a 30-minute walk. We were also very close to the South Gate Market and the Saturday Night Market, offering a wide variety of delicious food at a very low cost. The hotel itself is just a minute’s walk inside the roads surrounding the Old City, making it peaceful and free from the traffic noise. Highly recommend if you are looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay in the Old City.

The overall facilities could use some maintenance. I really loved the wooden interior decor, but it was clear that the building was showing signs of aging.
