The neighbourhood is charming, I enjoy walking around it. The location is okay, it is within walking distance if you want to go to Wat Phra Singh. Kibb and her mother were very friendly and suggested beautiful places to visit in Chiang Mai. I felt super comfortable during my stay. Definitely come back if I return to Chiang Mai!

Central location

Bedroom with unopenable windows (curtains either because they face a common space of the hostel, which gives you zero privacy and tranquility to sleep because at night when people turn on the light of "that common space" the light comes directly to your room and it is quite unpleasant. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired, as the walls and corners were full of cobwebs and dust. They only bothered to take out our rubbish. Regarding the bathroom, they tell you that it is for your exclusive use in your room (we rented a room with a private external bathroom for us), but this is not respected and anyone can enter (the bathrooms were never cleaned during our stay).

the bed was really hard. the shower had very low water pressure. no where to hang the clothes. no hand towel or soap to wash hands. Loud, the lady was washing dishes at 11 pm for example. overall very over priced.

Unfortunately only the terrace.

It started at the check-in. The mother of the owner (who ran the hostel on this day alone) does not speak a word of English! During a chaotic phone call with the owner, she tried to sell me an overpriced taxi on the side. As if it were not enough that the hostel is overpriced! Because the beds are rock hard, there are no privacy curtains and only 2 bathrooms/toilets for the whole hostel! The mother and owner embody the opposite of Thai cordiality and I was just glad to have booked only one night. I still do not understand how this hostel is so well rated.
