The Nampton Boutique Hotel is a stellar choice for your Chiang Mai visit! I was there for a 2 day solo trip and had an absolutely exceptional experience beginning with the warm and helpful hospitality of the receptionist, Sand, upon arrival. Sand helped me plan my 2 days into an incredibly rich exploration. All her recommendations were fantastic from massage to tours to restaurants. Rooms at the Nampton were delightfully authentic with all the amenities you could want for your comfort and the location in the heart of the old city was perfection. Don't miss Cru, a second floor wine bar 2 blocks away, to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing! The Sunday Night Market is not to me missed, too. I highly recommend The Nampton Boutique Hotel for the charm, comfort, location, and tremendous hospitality!

The staff were wonderfully attentive, ensuring that the check-in process was smooth and efficient. I also used the laundry service, which was excellent. The hotel itself is stunning, with its wooden interiors creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time. Every detail is beautifully maintained, from the bath and the balcony to the overall décor of the room. The facilities are of the highest standard, combining historic charm with modern comfort. A truly memorable stay.

The number of mosquitoes in the room was considerable; however, I believe this is more characteristic of Chiang Mai in general rather than the hotel itself. When arranging a taxi, please request that the driver drop off and pick up guests on the left side of the hotel, as there is no designated parking space for taxis on the opposite side. The road in front of the hotel is very busy.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with lovely wooden details. Bathroom was massive with delightful open waterfall shower. I had a little balcony which was useful for relaxing and drying out clothes. Staff were wonderfully friendly and held onto my luggage when I arrived before check in. Lovely area to wait for any tours at the front with a bubble chair and benches. Great restaurants and breakfast options, as well as a laundrette and convenience store all within a 7 minute walk. A wonderful place to stay in the old town.

I can’t think of a single thing that could have been improved upon. When I booked it I did see they had a spa service but didn’t see any sign of that, however I’m sure if I asked the staff they would have given me more details.

The overall ambience of the hotel is incredible. It's traditional, old, and rustic, making it perfect for those wanting to feel as though they are stepping back in time. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is well-located in the old town, allowing for easy access to various attractions by riding a scooter.

If you are travelling with a heavy suitcase or have mobility challenges, be sure to request a room on the lower floor, as the upper floors are not accessible. Make sure to specify this requirement before booking. Additionally, while the staff may offer to carry your suitcase to your room, it's advisable to decline if you feel capable of handling it yourself. Also, the pool isn't located within the building, so you'll need to walk a few minutes to have access to it.

it was such a beautiful and stylish place to stay, loved how traditional it looked, and everything was so clean and spacious the bed was so comfy and soft, and we had an abundance of facilities (kettle, fridge, robes, slides, toothbrushes, soaps, tissues, working tv and remote air con!) the location was nice also, near 7/11s and a 15 min walk to markets, northgate jazz, and the only park in the square :) the hotel reception were phenomenal! so lovely and accommodating with our small requests and handled a small issue with the bidet with swiftness and ease! we felt very taken care of

there is no elevator, which some might find inaccessible but wasnt a problem for us :) wish we had a bigger window, but that wasnt too bad.

Exotic hotel in central old town Chiang Mai. Loved the dark wood rooms, tasteful lighting, and cool Thai doors. Beds are very comfortable. Staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful. We found our room next to the road a little noisy (apparently due to some traffic changes surrounding Chinese New Year), and the staff helped us move to a another room on the back side of the hotel, which was much quieter. Location is very convenient in the central part of the city, only a couple blocks from the iconic temples in Chiang Rai. Excellent coffee and food on the same block. Easy access to the airport.

Our room on the road was noisy, but we were able to switch without problems. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, and the raised tile lip for the shower is a tripping hazard.

Amazing decor, it's a truly boutique hotel with a character. The art pieces, the furniture and whole design was perfect and very immercive in the local vibe. Nice cute balcony to have a drink early morning or late evening (it was quite hot). Air conditioning worked well. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, made us feel right at home. We had an airport transfer included, which was well organized and the driver was perfect - polite and friendly, helped us with the suitcases. I would stay again in Namton any time I'm back to Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!

The staff were lovely, especially Sand. They were more than happy to help with any questions we had about the area, food and the things to do. Room was clean, and the bathroom had a nice big bath in it. The street view from the balcony was a nice place to chill out and watch Chiang Mai city life go past. A special thank you to Sand. I dont ever make a big fuss about my birthday but the day before we left Namton Boutique, Sand found out it was my birthday the next day when we check out by speaking to my partner. Sand went out her way to surprise me with a birthday cake to take with me. The cake was delicious, and I wish you all the best for the future. I know where I'll be staying when I'm back in Chiang Mai.

Excellent location, very helpful staff who even helped us with the luggage up the stairs. Pointed us in the right direction for renting a bike and gave us local tips. The cleaning team were excellent also. The decor in the hotel and rooms is charming and I would say makes this hotel fairly unique.

The shower was the only real downside. Wet room situations are common in Thailand but nevertheless the bathroom was completely flooded after every shower. The shower did not have great water pressure so basically just spouted a heap of water out.

Namton Boutique Hotel has exceeded my expectation so much. I walked by this property before and I was amazed by its look. I was so happy that I would stay here. The interior decoration is even more amazing than what it looks like outside. My room has a nice bathtub. It was so nice to take a bath after a day of traveling. The room has a very interesting quaint look, but amazingly the facilities are modern. Details are so well taken care of. I had such a great time.

Nothing.
