The grounds and gardens of the old colonial buildings are very big and beautiful which provide a very wide sea frontage. Very good breakfast, including coffee.

Like all the hotels in this area there are no sunbeds on the beach, there are plenty of them but situated in the gardens and around the pool. All the villas with pools are going to be demolished from April 2025 and replaced by a concrete jungle of villas. This is a major nature disaster since the architects have not taken into consideration the landscape and therefore all the beautiful trees will be removed taking away the habitat of numerous species of birds and flowers.

The hotel is an older colonial style hotel in appearance and character although maintained and presented to a very high standard. Excellent, spacious & clean ocean view room. Breakfast is a splendid buffet. 3 swimming pools to choose from. Beach Restaurant serves good food and is reasonably priced. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful. Location a very short distance to all the restaurants, bars & shops of Hua Hin. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Great experience stepping back in history at this resort. The room was beautiful - loved the design and furnishings and really enjoyed sitting on the patio with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional, offerings were many and everything fresh or homemade.

There is no water on offer at the swimming pool and you cannot take your glass of bottled water from the room. Please consider a water jug and plastic glasses be made available. Thank you

Excellent regal hotel with flare and well located. Beautiful pools and great breakfast. The management were accomodating and the staff very kind. Loved the spa centre!

The guest culture was not very family friendly. The Hotel overcharged for our transport from BGK airport (around 450 AUDfor one way! - I thought it was a return trip). It was four times the amount than any other car.

This resort is a unique one. It's a huge place with beautiful landscapes and gardens facing the sea. The room is big enough and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and tasty 😋. Staff brilliant and very efficient service . The location is very good 👍 near everything. We were very happy, thank you so much for your services 😊 ❤️

The price for the Spa was a little bit expensive ..if they can make some offers.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning, well maintained gardens near to local sights.

Expensive drinks not served well at beach bar, for example, thick discoloured plastic ‘glass’ for a gin and tonic only made worse by flat tonic pre poured rather than left for me to pour to required balance. Disappointing for premium price paid. Bars lacked vibrant atmosphere. ‘Happy hour/s’ only advertised on boards towards the end of our stay - we felt that better promotions might have helped to enhance take up and in turn, encourage a more buzzy ambiance.

Lovely room with a balcony facing the beach and beautifully kept grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Choice of 3 swimming pools, all excellent and with the beach just a few steps further. Grand and attractive reception area. Easy access to town.

Eating in is costly, so we went out to eat.

Property is a colonial feel older style hotel. The feel is warm friendly and comfortable. The staff are superb from room staff to generals manager who manages to say Hello to customers almost daily. Restaurants are a bit pricey but the service and staff are excellent. There are plenty of eateries out side of the hotel and close by. The pools are great clean and well maintained as are all the gardens and grounds which were spectacular as it was Christmas/New Year so many lights and decorations. Also plenty of events over this time should you wish to book. Night markets short walk away or cheap Tuk Tuk ride away which staff can call to front entrance or you can catch. Y walking to the main entrance roadside. The hotel has an impressive driveway up to the main entrance. Plenty of staff and we had no problems whilst there. The gym was good with classes you can attend and also personal training sessions at very reasonable rates.

My only moan is that I suppose being older and the way it is decorated the rooms are very dark and the lighting is. It great. There are special reading lights at the bedside but still the room was super dark which was a bit annoying. I do believe this coming year that they are undertaking major renovations to all rooms so hopefully this might be addressed. This problem though would not prevent me from re booking this hotel which I am probably going to do for the same time next year.

We liked the heritage style of the hotel, the gorgeous expanse of gardens, the location directly on the beach and in center of town. The breakfast was scrumptious and varied. The different restaurants and/or bar and club lounge were very enjoyable. We especially liked the afternoon tea at The Museum. We booked a Premium Club Room which included generous daily offers of food, drinks, laundry services, etc.. The room was lovely and big with a terrace. Bath room a bit dated, but definitely ok and clean. The hotel will start renovations soon we were told. The staff was friendly, very helpful and competent; nothing too big a problem.

We did not like the reserving of sun lounges that went on at the main pool and the one next to it, between many guests and some of the pool attendants, even though the hotel has a policy of no pre-booking of lounges. Very annoying! For us the mattress was too hard (having back problems) and the bed a bit creaky.

The staff's hospitality was amazing, felt very looked after. Facilities on-site were great too. Rooms and bathroom was a great spacious size. The garden was lovely and grand, and just a nice sight to wake up to.

The rooms are a bit outdated, doesn't give a modern feel. Though it is still comfy. The aircon unit in our room is quite outdated and isn't as quiet as the modern units nowadays, so beware of that. Additionally our room was next to the main road where it was super loud from market stalls. Appreciate this isn't the fault of the hotel, but beware of your room placement in the resort. The taste profile of the on-site restuarant catered to Westerners in that the seasoning is more sweeter and/or less spicy vs. what you'll get from external restuarants.
