location was amazing - couldn’t ask for better. needed to book extra nights as was sick and was no problem

dog was super scary, they tell you he’s not dangerous but runs at you and barks which doesn’t feel safe. beware when coming in late at night. rooms aren’t as clean as they could be

This is a beautiful, safe, private hotel run by a wonderful family. The location is perfect if the focus of your trip is specifically scuba, because it is conveniently located to all of the scuba shops and the pier that the boats launch from. If you rent a motorbike for 250 baht a day then you're never far from all the other things you want to do on the island as well. We really enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed visiting with our hosts as well. They even helped us make quick and convenient transportation arrangments as we continued our vacation back to the mainland. We will definitely stay at Baan Suan Ta Hotel again when we return to Kho Tao.

There isn't anything we didn't like. The only thing was a power outage which affected the entire island and was not something our hosts had any control over. They did go above and beyond to supply us with emergency lights.

No complaints for the price

Room was huge, spacious, had a balcony with a beautiful view, extremely clean and comfortable stay for us in Koh Tao for 4 nights. Great location too just at the tip of the Sairee beach, and walking distance from the pier even with our backpacks

Lack of staff around, reception was deserted when we arrived and there never seemed to be anyone at reception during our stay even when we checked out but we did manage to find a number to call if we needed someone

Very close to the pier and town. Felt safe, place to park bike, staff friendly, good room, balcony.

The balcony doors didn’t close properly which left quite a lot of mosquitos in

Rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great and staff are extremely friendly and helpful! They will get you a motor bike rental and any other resources you could hope for.

The hotel's position was remarkable, as it was situated near the pier, granting us effortless access to the surrounding areas. Lucy, the delightful pup of the family added so much joy and warmth to our entire stay.

Right in the centre of Mae Head but a lovely place to stay.

Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Could not have asked for a better stay.
