Nice bright and clean rooms with very comfortable beds and clean sheets. Lovely friendly staff! We were on a diving holiday so a perfect place to wind down and rest.

There was a bit of construction happening when we arrived but this was very temporary and staff were apologetic. No issues after they had finished necessary works, it wasn’t a big problem. I feel they could hide some of the materials used for construction in the garden area as the rest of the landscaping is very lovely and well done. I am sure it’s just whilst upgrades are happening but still a bit ugly for guests to see.

Field-D House is conveniently situated to the local restaurants, bars, and a 7-11 was just across the busy road. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable, as a tv and fridge. The bathroom was fine, and there were no complaints . Small balcony with ample room for two people and space to hang out any wet clothes you might have. We had a view of the sea and the mountains. Breakfast was fine, with a choice of eggs,fruit, pastries and cakes, also tea, coffee and juices. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The stairs to the first floor were quite steep and might be a problem for those who are less able, not a problem for us, though. The sea view was nice, but not so much for the rest of it as some building works were going on.

Field D house was such a great find on Koh Samui- tucked away off a central road near all the cafes & shops you could need (including a 7/11 literally a 2 minute walk away), it is a lovely quiet hotel that suited us perfectly for a 2 night stay! It also has a cute cafe on site that does breakfast & lunch and excellent smoothie bowls. Staff were helpful, rooms were extremely clean, and the beds were the most comfortable of our trip so far! Incredible mattress & soft duvet was much appreciated after many other hotels have had very hard beds in Samui & Koh Tao. Would stay again 100%!

Excellent hotel; great and spacious room, kitchen is good to cook something if you feel like it. The location is great, 7/11 right in front of it and several places to eat drink etc. very close to the Pier. However mind you that the ‘main’ area with the longer beach and multiple restaurants and bars etc is a 5 min. Motorbike ride. Also, a personal thing but there is gym 2 mins away that you can get a day or week pass. Overall, wonderful place with great people. Say hi to their funny cat Ba-Chang!

The breakfast is not bad but if it was changing a little bit (the Thai part changes which is great) it would be better. No big deal!

Staff were incredibly helpful. There had been a glitch in their booking system and they had accepted our booking for two nights although they had no rooms available. They arranged for an alternative hotel (which was an extremely good hotel) for one night and then the second night at their hotel. They also arranged the transfer for us. As the whole island was fully booked on all websites we could access we really appreciate their efforts to accommodate us.

No negatives

- Lovely spacious and comfortable room. We spent about a month here and would have liked to stay longer! - Big comfy bed, good air conditioning, working kitchen appliances, etc. - Extremely friendly, helpful staff. We rented a scooter from them and one of the staff spent time teaching us how to ride it. She also gave us recommendations for viewpoints and beaches on the island. - You can avail of laundry services where they bring your clean laundry back to your room for you, so it's really convenient. - There was a nice, varied breakfast buffet. - It's also in a great location with the beach, pier, and plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. within walking distance.

Everything was just amazing: from very welcoming staff till the last small towel (which are of amazing quality I dunno what they do with them). Extremely close to the airport jet and the main road but still quite hidden. You could rent new bikes and have some basic breakfast. Rooms are crazy clean!

I would appreciate a bit more of green options for the breakfast. It is not much suitable for vegetarians :(. But still some stuff to have a little bite you could find here

For the price I paid, I had higher expectations of the room, also because of the outdoor terrace. The location is great, opposite is a lady who rents motorcycles. Breakfast is modest, not really much choice. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks you find in the room are not welcome gifts, but you are charged at the end of your stay.

We loved our stay at Field-D House. A perfect location only a short walk from the Pier, and around 10 mins walk to the main Sairee Beach. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Daily cleaning of the rooms is offered and a delicious buffet breakfast each morning to start the day right. There is also a laundry service offered. Staff were really friendly and would highly recommend!

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, spatious rooms, quiet place, nice garden. Many nice restaurants in the area: try square paper around the corner for thai food (some of the best we had in four weeks) or the garden for great burgers and pizza.

Some bugs in bathroom, coming through the windows. Hotel is very nice, but in a very busy area of Koh Tao. As soon as you leave the hotel you are in a main street with a constant flow of scooters.
