It was a really good room. It was okay size, clean, and had a nice view over the sea. It is close to Sairee and Mae Haad, so it is easy to move around. The staff was really nice and helpful. Very nice overall!

There was no kettle in the room to heat water or cups to water. There was also no water provided with check in. It is a very simple room with nothing extra. The pool is always full of divers, but you can use the pool from their more expensive hotel but it is like 4 minutes walk.

The location was great. The room is big enough for two, have a nice view of the small beach and swimming pool. Room cleaning service comes everyday. The staff were very nice and helpful. Bed was soft enough to have a good sleep.

Everything in the room is outdated. AC struggling to work, TV only has 4 channels (Thai). Pillows are either too high or too low. Drying rack outside is too rusty to use. Safty deposit box doesn't work. Bathroom light was broken for two days and no one come to fix it.

The location is amazing, the beach is just at the door ! Same for the swimming pool, so you cnnot decide where to swim ! hehe The staff is nice, and it's really near the most popular street to hang out, eat, enjoy a cocktail... Hot showers, with good pressure. small fridge : convenient

the maintenance could be improved, the outdoor facilities are really neglected (rust, flaky paint, broken things...) in our room, that was quite small, AC was working, but partially broken

Excellent location, amazing views from the balcony, unbelievable value for money. It’s possible to use the facilities at the new ‘cliff view’ resort 2 minutes away, particularly as the dive school uses the pool most of the day.

Unfortunately Talay has not been looked after over the last few years. Since we visited 7 years ago, it seems a lot more run down. Rooms could do with a refurb and grounds need maintenance.

Location is the biggest benefit of this place. It's near Simple Life Divers, the beach, nearby restaurants, and the island's main street.

It would be helpful if the surrounding area of the rooms could be kept cleaner. Additionally, it would be appreciated if complimentary coffee or similar amenities were provided in the rooms.

The hotel and the pool are really great. The access to the sea is wow... The staff is 10/10

It is not the one in the pictures. Idk if it they are old pictures and they did a new building but that's not the one. Anyhow, the new stuff is really cool. Also the hotel is on the other side of the street, the rooms are the ones on the pictures but they don't have an ocean view

Beautiful location to spend quality time for couples. Beautiful sunsets are seen from the beach front chalets. The swimming pool is the cherry on the cake as it is mostly empty in the evening. Wonderful staff. The resort is close to sairee beach which is one of the liveliest place in koh tao and can be easily reached on foot.

It was in a great location, nice cheap and cheerful! A pro was getting to use the facilities of the resort across the road which had a lovely pool and amazing sea view loungers

The main property is under construction so we were confused as to where we check in, but as highlighted in the positives you’re allowed to use the nice resort!

They have different accommodations, we did the check in in Cliff View hotel but our accommodation was 2 minutes walking from there. The girls who work at the reception are nice and helpful. We had see view and a balcony, there where 2 swimming pools but we were also allowed to use the other pools at Cliff View hotel. The room had a fridge and everything u need for ur stay.

Nice view of the ocean when walking out of the room. Comfy beds and good location, about 5-10min walk to Sairee Beach. We checked in at Cliff view resort which was very accommodating and staff were great

Abit confusing where to go when we arrived. The rooms were very close to eachother and glass doors out to the path made it feel less private. Doorhandle was broken and no water provided.
