The staff were friendly and always helpful, even though there were some things out of their control. The snorkelling tour we booked through them was good, the drop off to the ferry was on time. The location is good if you like to be close to plenty of restaurants and shops (it can be a little noisy).

Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that the power to the island was to be cut from 9am to 5pm for a few days of our stay. Because of the heat (with no aircon or fan to now be used) our original room (off an inner corridor) was unbearably hot and dark during the day. We were able to move to an outer room after one night, which at least enabled us to get some light and air into the room. The bed was very hard (not just firm) and we couldn't sleep the first night, however the staff kindly fitted a mattress topper on the second night which was lovely and soft - I'd recommend starting with that!

Location between Pier/town and beach was perfect - short walk or scooter ride away. Had a room in land - was nice and quiet. We were on 1st floor - would recommend second floor as it probably has better view. Breakfast for 200 Baht buffet was good and at restaurant was helpful. Because of windy conditions did not get a chance to enjoy snorkeling in front of the hotel but it looked promising. Overall good value.

The 500 baht deposit. Didn't have to leave that in the other hotels we stayed in.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had the deluxe suite with the private terrace and it was lovely waking up to a sea view and watching the sunset every evening. Breakfast was not included in our booking so can’t comment on this. It is perfectly located within walking distance to great bars, cafes and restaurants. The pool was a great addition too when we didn’t feel like going on the beach. Would definitely stay here again, thank you to all the staff!

Hotel could arrange to pick up guests from the pier, they only provide a drop off to the pier upon check out.

First of all Koh Tao Heritage has great staff members. Everyone is very (kid)friendly and always ready to help. We booked multiple trips through them and were very happy with our days out. They go the distance to please young guests and make them feel at home. Koh Tao Heritages staff is great and makes you feel welcome and at home. Our room was close to the pool and quite close to the reception and breakfast. Pool was always clean and towels were provided. There is a beach with some fish to see. Views are great. Breakfast is the same everyday but of high quality and enough to choose from. For the most of our stay we had the bedroom eith three beds. This room was always clean and with fresh towels and fresh water every day. We had a balcony and a bit of seaview. The room only had blinding curtains which we think is a pity. This room had windows on two sides and only having blinding curtains makes that you cant see outside without all passerby's seeing you also. Some half see through curtains in addition to the blinding curtains would be great. This means you could see outside without everyone else seeing you inside and you would have some sea view to your room. Aircondition was always working, wifi was always good. If there were any requests the staff would be happy to help. We had a great stay and would love booking this hotel again if we were to visit Koh Tao again. Special thanks to the reception staff. We were always greeted with a smile and a sweet hello during our entire stay. ❤️

Like said before half see through curtains in addition to the blinding curtains could make this room even better. Also pillows for the wooden couch indoors and outdoors would be nice. Especially indoors.

They put in the room umbrella for rainy days and backet for the beach. Very nice for backpackers Near beach and restaurants etc

The room was spacious, and all the staff was very nice and helpful. The cleaning lady at the reception who wears grey shirt was really nice. I like to speak to her as she seems so calm to talk to. The reception has a car named Moo Grop ( Crispy Pork) he was so cute and so cool

It was difficult to lock the door as it was rusty. The aircon was showing "EL" and we had to turn it on and off before it worked properly even when we had the temperature on 25° We received a 10% discount to Sea side Restaurant which is really nice but unfortunately the food was not good at all. We got served cold French fries and cold burger. We recommend local restaurant instead

Go for the King triple sea view rooms, they are fantastic with killer balcony views and small pool area very nice - top spot for chilling if you have been on the go for a while ! Comfortable bed, excellent Wi-Fi and A/C with modern fridge in the room and lots of natural light ( has a mini villa vibe about it ) Staff lovely and shops nearby to stock up for your balcony sunset treat 😎🍹 Free shuttle run down to the port was much appreciated and would not hesitate to stay here again 🙏🏻

The hotel is at the end of the busy street, so it is quiet and with fewer people and scooters. Breakfast time is excellent (from 07:30 to 12:00) with a wide choice. It costs 250 bath Staff is very nice and welcoming. The pool is large, and it is also very good for toddlers. It faces the sun almost all day, and the view on the sea is amazing. There is also a nice and private beach just below the pool. The room size is good, and the shower power is good. They also offer a free taxi to the pier on the way back with 3 departure times (2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon). Lighting in the room is excellent but not really good in the bathroom.

The beds were rock hard, and we struggled to sleep. It looked like sleeping on the concrete floor. We asked for something, and they offered us a topper, but they were never given us at the end. Breakfast never changes. Same breakfast every day. Some rooms are opposite the site of the swimming pool and aren't facing the sea side but a garden. It takes 5 min walk to reach the pool (not really an issue, but it can be for some who are expecting otherwise) All rooms have large windows and people can see you. So you basically live with the curtains pulled all day. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet, but I think it is an island problem due to a lack of good waste pipes. There aren't many places to hang or lie one's clothes, and there isn't anything to hang wet clothes outside to dry.

The location is great. Koh Gao Heritage is within walking distance of Sairee beach but eithout thr noise of sairee beach. The staff are great. Very helpfull with everything we need. We booked a private longtailboat with them which was amazing (one whole day with just our family and captain, fresh fruit, water, shade on the boat). We also booked our boat ticket back to Koh Samui with them and we booked dives through them. We had the family suit with sea view and looked out on nang yuan island. Amazing views right from our room. The breakfast provided by koh tao heritage is more than sufficient. A lot of options. Usually the same everyday but since there are many options we didnt really mind. The staff is very kid friendly. Always willing to help.

The beds are hard, thats the only negative. The hotel could use an upgrade here and there to make it even better.
