DisclaiDisclaimer: After reading all the bad reviews, we decided to last minute upgrade to a Deluxe Bedroom directly in the resort which wasn't nearly as cheap but still well within reason. We did check out the location on the other side of the road and much further back at night, but the only thing that we can say ist, the one on the other side of the road looked good from the outside, the one further back closer to the pier looked older. No idea about the inside. We suspect that upkeep during corona was too high so the bungalows/rooms outside of the resort degraded. What we can say is that the staff was super friendly, professional and helpful all around, so maybe it was more about the expectations or how angry others already were when they talked to staff. We did not regret the upgrade though. Room was super clean and modern, very close to the beach, pool, bars and restaurants (I recommend walking along the beach), locationwise it was amazing. The breakfast was nothing special and I didn't realize they make eggs on request. Wasn't bad either, just had better at cheaper hotels.

Location was very close to the beach (literally 2 minutes walk) and they also had their own swimming pool which was great.

The wifi coverage is terrible. I upgraded to a different room to remedy this but it still wouldn’t work. However, if you’re on Koh Tao you probably won’t mind not having it in your room, however it is still convenient to have wherever possible

Very odd design, levels up and down everywhere, seemed designed to cause accidents ! The bed base was over a foot wider on both sides than the mattress and I cut and bruised my shin not once but twice in the night!!! My beachfront bungalow was right on the beach- be aware this also meant it was right beside both the massage rooms and the scuba area - awoken each morning at 6am by the early scuba trips.

We had to change rooms three times. The best place to stay if you'd like peace and quiet is across the street and the little bungalows. Only problem is most of them don't have TV if you're interested in tv.

Several of the front desk staff were actually rude. We had trouble with our room key and needed it to be changed several times, our air conditioning broke and there was loud music coming from a club that made us need to change rooms. The decking around the pool was broken and cracked and dangerous. There were several days where the pool water was extremely cloudy. The breakfast was dismal and the coffee was horrible. This is not a resort level hotel.

Had everything you needed facility wise and spacious for a 1 person bungalow

Shower was ice ice cold so difficult to enjoy even after a hot day and and light fittings were taped on to the ceiling with lots of bugs visible inside the tape

Personal inexistent! No friendly, Bar and food bad.
