The staff were kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly! The room felt wonderfully private, the A/C worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent hours ambling down the picturesque little street where the resort was located, with local clothing stores, souvenirs, dive shops, restaurants, and street food carts. The beach is a blissfully short walk away, and the resort has its own Restaurant and Bar with seating above the sand as well as directly on the sand where you can enjoy a cold drink and watch the waves. If that spot isn't to your taste, there's also a great variety of beach access restaurants and bars steps away to enjoy. Many of the businesses seem to be local or family-owned as well. The cafe owner was the resort owner's niece; her brother owned a restaurant serving local speciality fish, which we would highly recommend, called Cattago.

There are a lot of mosquitos! The property can't really do anything about this, particularly because they are making an effort to be a sustainable business, so make sure you bring your own bug spray.

Location was fabulous right where I wanted to be and aside from one night (other guests) it wasn't noisy. The lady at the front desk was super lovely and organised a taxi boat for us to Nangyuan. Room was huge. For me the beach is one of the best in the world, my first visit there was 30 years ago.

Rooms and especially bathroom is fairly dated. A bedside light and table would have been nice. The light you could switch from the bed was very very dim. The restaurant was great for drinks and spring rolls but the meals weren't great. A free transfer to the ferry is offered at 9am and the ferry is at 9:30. They assured us that this would be OK but we were in a massive Q and the last on the ferry. Very chaotic and a bit stressful. They really should offer an earlier transfer. I think it will always be chaotic at the port but even 15 minutes earlier would be better.

Ideally located, big and nice modern room, great ambience.

Quite a shocker to get such a cold and - well - non existant welcome. Firstly, the hotel did not react to my enquiry about the transfer. Not a problem for me, as I am a returning visitor to Koh Tao, so I know how to find my way, but the attitude before and during the visit is a disgrace to this establishement. This is not how I know Thailand and Koh Tao. You can surely do better. And yes, you need a shower hose in the shower. Beds were quite hard too. All in all, I give you a good score (8) because of the location and the room, but the service is - zero. Never coming back.

The room was spacious and the large bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, only the washing lotions were not my cup of tea. Great location and only a few meters from the beach. Many restaurants within walking distance. In-house restaurant was always a good choice for breakfast and dinner (for a fee). Very nice and very attentive staff.

Too little storage space for my taste, i.e. space to store clothes etc. in an organized manner. The cushions on the veranda were extremely dirty. The room with sea view had virtually no sea view, only very little sea to be seen behind the tall vegetation. No cleaning of the room during the stay, only on request. Somewhat few international TV channels.

Great location, nice restaurant right next to the hotel, pretty friendly staff, nice big room with nice bed, nice balcony, good walk in shower.

Pool signage and drop off, walk through an unmarked entrance with a heavy bag for a long time, no greeting, finally ditched the bag and find someone who didn't seem to care that I was checking in. Not a great arrival. The lighting was not great in the space, particularly in the bathroom. I did not particularly like that they would not clean the room without you bringing your key to the front desk by 12pm. I ended up not getting the room cleaned the whole week as it was just not convenient.

AC2 is a nice resort. Modern rooms of different categories. The restaurant and the Club Maya are directly in front of it at the beach. But also a lot of other restaurant options are available. Free transport to the port.

The rooms which you can get via Booking.com are located on the back of the resort. They look older than the rooms in front. On the balcony there is a lot of noise from the street. When the resort is full, then it is difficult to get the room cleaned. You have to drop your key at the reception and get it back about 5 hours later, when the room is cleaned. So no access to room during that time.

private resort next to beautiful beach. Places to eat and drink in abundance. Exactly as described and what I wanted. Room not cleaned every day but that wasnt a problem for me and they probably would have done would i have asked. Livelier Island than I thought due to the amount of backpackers but again, not a problem as most places close at a reasonable time and are quiet in the morning.

A change of towels every day would certainly have pleased my partner but not enough to ruin a week there.

The resort is located just a 5-minute walk from the ocean, right on the first coastline. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

However, there is ongoing construction on the property, and the furniture and appliances are quite old — some of them either don't work or work poorly. If you are mainly looking to enjoy your time on the island and don't mind these issues, this place could be a good option.

The friendly bar and restaurant on the beach was lovely..great staff, good food, not expensive, and a laid back attitude. The hotel is at the quieter end of the beach. Our room was huge- just like the photos. Sairee beach is young and lively with plenty of choice for bars and restaurants, nightspots etc. Koh Tao is still relatively unspoiled...highly recommend the island and this hotel and a snorkelling trip.

Really could have done with many more beach loungers and umbrellas. Very hot and unshaded in the afternoons, although fabulous sunset.

Room: Very spacious and clean, with good amenities. Very large, very comfortable bed. Staff: Very willing to help, and with good english. Location: Nice, right near the beach, and an easy walk to cafes and dive centres. Noise: None! Although our room was right near the back of the resort, away from the beach front bars. We were very lucky to get last minute accomodation here. I would stay here again.

Nothing. Some reviews said they had a problem with a gap in the doors but our room didn't have that problem, doors worked perfectly well. Note: The reception is in the resturant (we initially walked straight past it thinking it was only the resturant). Not a problem, just something to note when finding it.
