We had a villa with a pool and it was a wonderful experience. In the nature, couple of minutes drive from Sairee Beach lies this modern apartment with a great views. Bathroom is one of the biggest we've ever seen, there are apartments smaller than that bathroom 😊 Host was super helpful and polite to the max, even she helped us with sending our late parcel to Koh Phangan. Definitely recommend and thank you so much for such a wonderful experience

Villa's were beautiful, in a quiet location. We stayed in a villa with a pool, our teenagers stayed in one with partial sea view. Staff were very polite, accommodating and delivered a lovely breakfast each morning (you place your order the night before). More choice for breakfast would have been nice, we stuck to the fresh fruit and toast as the cooked breakfast wasn't to our taste. A lovely Italian restaurant located near the villa's, also a noodle restaurant, bakery and gym (payable by day/week).

A steep hill up to the villa's. We've quite fit as a family and walked (there was lifts offered by the accommodation but we were happy to get in our daily exercise). It would be challenging however for anyone with a buggy or mobility issues.

Everything was exceptional! Room 204 pool villa was the best location and had the most privacy with the best view. The private pool was bigger than I was expecting (not a tiny plunge pool). The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. It has air conditioning but the fan they provide helps move the cold air around more effectively. The staff were so incredibly kind and delivered free breakfast every morning.

I loved everything but you must be prepared (and in shape) for a longer steep walk to the resort from the main town. It’s walkable but the hill can become tiring in the heat. We eventually rented a scooter to get up and down, especially for when we had groceries and heavy bottles of water.

Beautiful huge rooms! And very good value for money. We had our own balcony off the roof which was very nice. The resort doesn’t have a pool (only the private suites with a private pool have) but there’s a pool 5 mins walk away at the resort nearby that you can use for free. The breakfast is simple and comes on a tray to your room (they give you a card to fill in and you can choose between eggs, bacon/ ham, salad, Thai food, fruit and drinks)

It was quite a steep walk back from sairee center (it’s only about a 10 minute walk but very steep). They do have a shuttle service that you can take from the hotel to the pier/ the sairee center but only at certain times.

Amazing friendly staff who couldn’t enough for you Rooms were extremely clean We wanted to stay an open extra night and they facilitated that for us! Close enough to walk to the main bars and restaurants, but can hire a moped from hotel if wanted to Comfy beds resulting in amazing nights sleep! Lovely fresh fruit platter delivered to my room for breakfast. Koh Tao was beautiful and we are glad we got the amazing experience we did!

It was fine for us, but if anyone struggles with walking they wouldn’t want to walk to and from the main bars as it’s hilly - didn’t effect us though :)

The room was really big with super king bed and comfortable, my booking included breakfast which in my opinion was also good. They picked me up free at the pier and dropped me off free at the pier. They cleaned and changed towels daily. You can rent a motorbike for $250Bath, a fair price, you can reach the city centre in 5 minutes by motorbike.

If you don't know how to drive a motorbike well, or if you don't want to walk to get to the city centre maybe you should choose another place, because it's a bit far from the city centre on foot, about 20 minutes and it's a complicated road to drive. Anyway for us the place was great.

Really beautiful secluded property tucked into the hills and jungle. Private pool and balcony were very peaceful and the pool was surprisingly large. The floor to ceiling glass windows were really nice and the ocean view was spectacular. The breakfast served in room was also nice.

I think a few small changes would make the property feel much nicer. For example, the shower towels had large holes in them and furniture was in bad shape. A pool net would have been nice to clear out leaves and debris that collected during the day. This property is also a 10-20 minute walk to any restaurants down a dark dirt path, so if you don’t enjoy walking and don’t want to rent a motorbike, it would be a tough location.

• Staff: The staff were helpful and friendly. • Transportation: A free shuttle from the ferry was convenient. • Rental: Cheap scooter rental with no deposit required was a nice option. • Room: The room was spacious and comfortable. • Breakfast: The free breakfast was decent with some customizable options delivered to the room at a chosen time. • Laundry: The laundry service was reasonably priced and efficient.

• Bathroom: The bathroom was missing wall hangers.

Nice bungalows with stunning views from the terrace. The resort offers free shuttle from & to the busy pier. The hilly location was not a problem for our family with 2 kids - we easily walked down to Sairee beach and took a taxi back when the sun was still very strong. After sundown, walking up the hill was fine for all of us. The resort provides 4 breakfast options which we found really tasty. The staff is very helpful and kind. Thank you for making our holiday special!

Very nice and comfortable stay at the Matina Resort. Staff was very helpful with all our questions and also picked us up from the ferry pier and drove us to the pier at the end of our stay. The rooms are spatious and ours had also a private pool, which we very much enjoyed. Overall an absolute recommendation. We will come back!

Just to keep in mind: the resort is located on a hill so the way to the resort is quite steep and may be challenging especially during the night.
