Offering a range of rooms and pricing our deluxe double allowed for a very comfortable couple of weeks. The resort is not new but is in good condition, our room came with a comfortable double bed, TV (Netflix) a small fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and daily bottled (glass) water. The bathroom was generous in size and included double basins, a wardrobe & storage, the shower was good and the water was always hot. The resort picked us up and dropped us back to the pier as part of the cost of accommodation. What else did we enjoy, Air conditioning, outdoor table and chairs, pool with a swim up bar, beach front position and access, on site restaurant & bar, on site massage, dive school, good wifi. In the evenings the resort was quiet compared to some yet still close to the centre of the town (Sairee junction across the road from reception). At that junction take the road up the hill 650 metres to find the large supermarket “Smile Mart” for all food requirements, wine, spirits and beer by the case. While heading that way check out “Pork Leg restaurant” a great place for good affordable food and drinks. If your room comes with free breakfast, Morning View up on the main road is your best option. Walking onto the beach and turning right look for the hanging decorations, bean bags and lights of the O’chai beach bar & restaurant a great spot to relax and enjoy the beach, the cool vibe, dinner, a drink and the sunset. The lovely setting of this on beach restaurant and bar will draw you in, the quiet music, good service and great food will keep you coming back.

An amazing hotel. The location is great, right by the beach with a restaurant and fire shows in the evenings. The pool was great and cleaned every day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The cocktails were really good and worth the money. Also 7 eleven is right outside of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there

Our room was very close to the main street so we could hear loud music every night, this wasn’t much of an issue for us as we were very tired every day after all activities so falling asleep wasn’t difficult at all. However, I know some people might consider this a big issue

Fantastic location Very close to beach and 7-Eleven. Really nice to be able to have breakfast on the beach front. The rooms were huge, air-conditioning good and balcony is lovely. Ask for a room on the second or third floor facing the garden. Those too close to the beach or the road can be noisy although the beach bar often closed before 12 and actually the sounds were good.

The bed was a little hard but okay and the shower blocked occasionally. Breakfast was a bit limited but there was good coffee if you asked for it.

Good location, right next to Sairee Beach. Very spacious and comfortable room and bed. Nice balcony. Cute little family of squirrels on the trees. Gentleman in reception was friendly and organised us a transfer to the port for a 7am ferry.

Cleanliness of the room, there were little bugs on the wooden furniture and layers of dust here and there. Zero water pressure for showering. The walls and doors could literally be made of paper and I wouldn’t know the difference but I guess that’s just what comes with staying in Koh Tao - Sairee beach with all the music and crowds.

The location for this hotel really did make our stay on Koh Tao. Right in the heart with only a short walk to “walking street” & 7/11 and beach. The room was big with the comfiest beds we’ve had in Asia. The whole room was fantastic with good lighting, a massive private balcony and plenty of space to put your stuff. The A/C was also fantastic. The pool is located by the bar at the beach and is a lovely addition. The rooms can be cleaned everyday if you want. We did book way in advance as we knew we’d love Koh Tao and stayed 2 weeks. However, the closer you are to your booking, expect to pay a little extra. They also have Roctopus on the resort, which is a dive centre/school. My partner done his Open Water there and everything was exceptional, so great if you’re looking to do that also.

The back doors onto the balcony didn’t really lock very well and could slide them over. However with the private balcony it’s not a massive issue. The safe in the room isn’t bolted to anything, however is easy to operate. If you want a good night sleep you can still hear the music until say 1am. But not exactly pumping and not a massive issue for us.

My friends and I loved our stay at Wind Beach Resort - the staff were very friendly and really helpful, going over and above to make sure our stay was a great time. The room was perfect for the 4 of us - we loved being so close to the beach and we loved the pool and breakfast.

The location was conveniently close to everything. The pool was perfect and the accommodation had all the necessary facilities. It was right on the beach, you can walk all the way to the pier if the tide is out. There is what they call the yellow brick rd which is the most beautiful pathway lined with shops of all kinds all the way. Just a side note. Sairee cottage is a favorite restaurant. As for the room. Initially, we were assigned a room near the street which was very noisy, the clubs on the main street pumped til midnight. The reception kindly relocated us. The staff here are so kind and accommodating. Nothing is a problem for them. The free shuttle to and from the port is a bonus as taxis are quite pricey. The selection of food around the hotel is awesome.and the prices are reasonable. You will never go hungry.

However, the second room was also noisy as it backed onto a nightclub. I recommend requesting rooms near the pool and massage area, beyond the dive school, for a quieter experience. Be aware, the Sairee area is known for its lively nightlife.

Great staff of the resort, nice helpfull and always there for the guests. Location perfect, it was were we wanted to be at that time. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. The resort had everything for an affortable price. During the day after breakfast chillin on the beach, eating drinking with lounge music, later on reggae and dub sounds and at the end the diner with a BBQ. All not expensive. We stayed mostly there. But the staff was the best. This resort can be proud of their Burmese employees, they are the best. They are DJ, barkeeper, restaurant, housecleaning, technical service, shuttle service, everything. My thanks go out to the hard working people of the Wind Resort

Great location! (although if you book the cheapest rooms you are very close to the bars and clubs and the music is loud - we didn’t mind but just worth bearing in mind). The two restaurants are really nice.

The shower didn’t work and it took a while for it to be fixed - I was surprised they didn’t just change our room. The smell outside the hotel is absolutely awful, literally you have to hold your breath walking to the ground floor rooms because they are right next to some kind of sewer! I think for what you get it’s on the little more expensive side but the room is a good size and in a good location so without staying somewhere else in Sairee to compare it’s hard to judge if you get good value for money.

Had a wonderful 4 nights at Wind Beach. Very comfortable rooms in a great location, slept brilliantly every night in our 2nd floor room despite not being far from the main road. Housekeeping was spot on, and fresh drinking water was provided every day. Staff on reception were excellent and super helpful.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't great but was fine.
