The bungalows are simple and clean. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and close to the center. There is a 7-eleven at a 5 minutes walking distance. The stuff is very friendly and tries to accomodate your every wish. Overall very good value for money, would recommend and stay again.

During our stay we were unlucky enough that a storm hit the island, causing water and electricity unavailability for a few hours. (Storms here can be quite rough, pretty sure the whole island was affected and not only our place)

I took a taxi from the pier as it was pouring down with rain when I arrived so it was the best and most comfortable way to get the O’Chai. I liked that it was close to the restaurants and bars along the northern side of Sairee Beach. I could walk to most places I need on the two nights I stayed.

I arrived during a typhoon moving over parts of Asia so there was more rain than usual which caused a power outage but I was still able to sit and eat at the restaurant on the waterfront and the staff were accommodating and got candles to make up for lack of lighting.

Loved this place! The bungalow was basic but literally on the beach and perfectly comfortable with shower and toilet and that's all you need really! Staff excellent so friendly we felt we became part of the o'chai family! They run a bar on the beach in front of the bungalows and we were made so welcome we ended up staying 8 days rather than 3....we didn't ever want to leave! We rented paddleboards from them and they run a dive school which we are told is excellent so next time hopefully we'll do that too. We will definitely be back soon Koh Tao is special ❤️ Great sunsets, great cocktails, great food, great people!

Having to leave 😭

No air conditioner, refrigerator or kettle, but you get what you pay for. This is very basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable and in an excellent location 1 minute from a quiet part of the beach.

For the price, I have nothing to complain about. However, it can get very warm at night so accommodation with A/C might be more suitable for some people. A small fridge and a kettle would be nice, too.

Great location, near all bars restaurants and right on the beach, for the price you really can't do better, room very basic but clean, go expecting more of a back Packers hostel but individual bungalows, and you'll know what to expect, would come again 😁

Great location...value for money ...beach front ... few minutes walk from restaurants and entertainment area staff very good and helpful. Will definitely be staying there again.

PROS: Right on the beachfront in the only area that is free of boats to swim in. Big, clean and comfortable bungalows with very good value for money considering what you pay in neighbouring properties. Great restaurant and bar. Next door to other many bars and food on the beach. Walking distance to night life and the busy end of town which is convenient. You need to request cleaning of your room, otherwise it'll not happen. Would stay again as the place is amazing and far outweighs minor inconveniences. Stayed 13 days and wanted more.

Location was the best, right on the beach and close to everything you need Bungalow was very big, very good expecially if you travel with kids, and had AC The price was very good for the location

They could do better about renovating the place, everything inside is old and kind of dirty No place to put your clothes Bathroom was dirty They do not clean up the rooms and you have to take the trash out by yourself, so just you know what to expect. Wifi is not working so well Loud music at night coming from the other location in the back
