The view was amazing, pool and room were great quality

Nothing really. Things to note though 1) You need a scooter, the hotel help arrange this. 2) You can’t get room service but the staff organise food delivery

We had a villa with a sea view - absolutely stunning! Room was perfect, clean, everything you could want and more. The hotel is more like and air bnb with a cafe which is also lovely. Peaceful. A bit out of the way but so are most of the luxury hotels in Koh Tao! Would highly recommend this place :)

There aren’t many good hotels in Koh Tao, and choosing Ava was an excellent decision. The service was wonderful—especially the receptionist who went above and beyond. The location is perfect: just a 5-minute scooter ride to the center, yet quiet and away from the noise. The view from the hotel is stunning. We didn’t mind that breakfast wasn’t included, since we enjoyed exploring the many great cafés in town. We also tried staying in the south of the island, but transportation there was difficult—so we quickly came back to Ava.

We loved the view and the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were sooo lovely. The pool was gorgeous and so was the room. Lovely coffee shop on site, shame they didn’t do alcoholic drinks in the afternoon/evening.

It was slightly out of the main Sairee centre. Highly recommend hiring a moped to get around as it was 2-3 down into the centre. However they did have a prompt taxi service, just would cost more z

We liked everything about this property and it really exceeded our expectations! The staff is so nice and helpful and they made the stay even better :) The best staff we encountered during our whole visit in Thailand! If you don't want to stay in the busiest part of the island, this is a great option. It is a bit removed from the noise, partying and a lot of people, but it is not remote at all. It is less than 10 minutes with a taxi from all of the restaurants, bars and shops, and 15 minutes from the pier. Our room was nice and had a nice view, the pool area is beautiful and very relaxing, and the whole property is very pretty. Even though the property does not offer food, they can order breakfast, lunch and dinner for you and you can eat it at the bar. The bar is also very quiet and relaxing, it is right next to the pool area and has a great sunset view. If you don't want to order food or get a taxi to the "city", you can also walk to two restaurants close by and we really liked the one at the Dunsit Buncha resort. The staff also help you with getting taxi and it was always very efficient .

The bathroom sometimes smelled a bit damp, but we find that this is the case everywhere we stayed in southern Thailand, so I'm not sure if the property can do anything about it or it is a wider problem. Everything else was perfect!

The mattras of the bed was great. The room was really big and had a beatiful modern interior. Great view from the balcony and the bath on the balcony was just perfect. The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a bar next to the pool. They don't serve food. But there is a possibility to order food/breakfast in local restaurants via the staff. The pool is very refreshing and has a great view. It's a little and calm resort. You can rent bikes via the reception and they offer taxirides to the pier.

Pool is very nice and the view from the pool is beautiful. Staff in reception are very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to Koh Nang Yuan island which you can order a taxi boat to arrive there, we didn't know that. We asked for the room to be decorated for a birthday before arriving and it was decorated beautifully. The hotel provides breakfast by the pool or at your room and as well as a food delivery service from local restaurants until 7PM. Hotel provides a taxi service that you can WhatsApp and get picked up until midnight Hotel staff is very responsive in WhatsApp (until 8PM)

Location is far from the center if you do not drive a scooter; it's impossible to walk cause it's super hot all the time and the hotel is uphill; we had to order a taxi every time we left the hotel and came back. .each way is 200 Baht; We booked the standard room in a garden zone with no view that was small for us and not worth the price. From what we could see from the outside, the best rooms are those with views of the pool and the sea. I think the difference is noticeable. Breakfast wasn't very good, better to eat in the city. Reception is available only until 8PM

The property was slightly out of the hustle and bustle that suited us. Hiring a motor bike is a must… makes life easier. The room was comfortable with a fabulous view. The pool area very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. A strange way of offering food but it works. There is a cafe area where you can have food delivered from local eateries .

We really enjoyed our stay but this was slightly marred on our departure. I had worn the slippers issued so packed them. I was asked to return them. I’m out to jury on this one … surely if you have worn the slippers they should not be used again? For hygienic reasons?

This magical resort is perfectly located 3 min scooter ride from the chaotic center with all the shops and restaurants. The room is HUGE, the bed was so comfortable, the infinity pool and the view was another world, but on top of all of that- the staff, that is the secret of this place. Everything is managed so smoothly, they are truly doing everything to make your stay pleasant. The reception team reached out to us via WhatsApp before arrival and arranged a taxi from the port, any request we had was answered with a smile, we extended our stay by 2 nights because we loved it so much there. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

Everything was perfect. The only thing I would improve is that there is no restaurant in the property. There’s only cafe (with a good coffee) but no smoothies (which is necessary when chilling by the pool). I would mention that the reception arranged food delivery to the hotel from several restaurants in the island because they don’t have a restaurant there so that is a need they answer.

We were really surprised at how lovely this place was. We booked it on a whim because we couldn’t stay in the place we were moving to next for that few days and honestly, weren’t expecting too much but MY GOD it was LOVELY! We were in Villa 1 and I honestly think that had the best view on the entire island. The rooms are very clean and the staff are lovely and will do anything they can to help you. The infinity pool is beautiful and it was never busy, which was great. It’s a very chilled place and we will definitely book again when we return to Koh Tao. Best sunset views 🌅🌅🌅
