We stayed here in a group of 8 friends for 3 nights and it was definitely our favourite stay in Thailand. The pool with the incredible view, the spacious house, the big speaker, the service, and all in a short 5 min drive to the main streets - there are not enough words to describe this accommodation! Mo was the best and suggested a bunch of great places to visit, dive, eat, hike, and enjoy the nightlife. A big thank you to the incredible Steve, who took us everywhere and picked us up anytime. This service is a big advantage. We were so sad to leave this place. I recommend 100% and can't wait to come back for a longer period of time.

We are a family of 5, with 3 kids (15, 15, 18) and spent a wonderful week at the Monkey Flower Villa. It is located up in the green hills, overlooking Sairee Beach, in a private & peaceful setting, with breathtaking views from the terrace and master bedroom. The large eternity pool is amazing and an absolute highlight!! One end is 3 meters deep offering the possibility to jump into it from the roof of the villa (ca 3 meters height and there is a bridge to go up), which the kids loved!! The villa has 2 levels, with the lower floor being a separate, apartment, including a bedroom, a large living room and a super cool open plan bathroom. It also has a fridge and coffee making facilities. Our boys loved their own “kingdom” and did not mind sharing the big king sized bed. To get to the upper floor, you have to walk up some steep steps, which is not ideal for people with limited mobility as there are no handrails but luckily no issue for us. The upper floor is the main floor with access to the terrace and pool. It has a large living / dining space (with fridge and coffee making facilities), 2 bedrooms (including master), a bathroom and access to the kitchen (which is downstairs). I must add, that we did not use the kitchen because we either went out for food or ordered in as it is great value for money and super convenient. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, with very comfortable king beds. The other spaces only have fans and get hot but we did not mind as we spent most of our time on the terrace and in the pool. Obviously expect some wildlife on a tropical island. There are geckos, squirrels, bats, frogs etc. They mostly stay out of the house unless you keep the doors / mosquito nets open for too long. Daily housekeeping is included, so whenever we came back from a day out, everything was beautifully clean, we had fresh towels (for bath & beach), coffee beans were filled up and the dishes were washed.

Bedrooms have air conditioning but the rest of the living space only has fans and will get hot but spending time on the beautiful terrace & in the amazing pool with a nice breeze more than compensated.

Very comfortable, clean and friendly staff. The driver service is great to get around, especially if you have small children. Fresh coffee was nice to have each morning

The accommodation is high on a hill, so you really are reliant on the driver service unless you have a scooter. A driver was excellent and usually instantly available, except for one instance where we felt a bit stranded waiting for an hour with no communication. There's also no really living/lounge area in the Bougainvilla (2 bedrooms), however the bedrooms are large. The loft is up a steep ladder, so we didn't use it at all

A stunning jewel hidden in the palms of Koh Tao. A simply amazing villa with beautiful rooms, an amazing vista, very thoughtfully and beautifully designed and built with stunning features, surrounded by huge amounts of wildlife. As soon as you arrive you will never want to leave. The building and location aside, the staff are AMAZING!!! Super helpful, thoughtful, kind, nothing is too much trouble, they will see that your every need is met, whatever it may be. Mo you are a total star, you and sausage (the dog) were so welcoming, your island insights really enriched our stay, thank you. Steve, best driver EVER!! We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay because of you both and your lovely nature. I would recommend this beautiful place with these beautiful people to every single person I come across, as long as it means you still have space for us to return 🥰🌴🥰 We definitely left a piece of our hearts in Koh Tao with you 🥰

I love the property the rooms very spacious and beautiful and an amazing view. Service so good villa cleaned every day beds made lots of water everyday even some other beverages. Muhammed always available to message. Our friend fell over on bike and he helped him by cleaning and dressing his wound every day. Provided us lots of recommendations. Steve was amazing he would drive us anywhere we needed to go as the property was on a big hill however this was not an issue at all as Steve was always available when we needed him.

Nothing I loved everything the only thing was the villa being on a big steep hill however it wasn’t an issue at all as we had Steve drive us anywhere we needed everyday for free. Very good value for money. You can also rent a bike and muhammed will show you where.

We’ve been traveling with our family (3 kids) in Thailand for 6 weeks now and Monkey Flower is by far the best stay so far - and possibly our best stay anywhere ever! Right from the pick up at the peer Muhammad and Steve were top notch hosts - making us feel welcome and well taken care of for the duration of our stay! The villa is situated high on the hill with breathtaking views. You have your own private pool and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The best surprise was learning that Steve will drive you anywhere you need to go on the island at any time. This made seeing the island, going to beaches, eating meals, and doing day to day activities so easy. Thanks so much to Muhammad, Steve, and the Monkey Flower staff for everything! We look forward to visiting again one day!

This villa is fab, the photos don’t do it justice. The pool and the view are amazing; everyone enjoyed jumping from the roof into the pool. There is lots of space for groups, you feel like you have your own areas for chilling. Attention to detail like fresh coffee beans, a grinder and percolator. Toiletries and both bath & pool towels provided. Mohammed was a great host, lots of fun ideas and information. Steve was a brilliant driver; they give you a mobile to call Steve whenever you need to be picked up/dropped off.

We loved our stay at Monkey Flower Villa, our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We did wonder how we’d manage to get about as it’s set back from the town, up a very steep hill, but huge thank you to Steve who was always there to pick us up and drop us off! The view was incredible, loved the private pool, and all the gorgeous details in how the rooms are created and decorated. Housekeeping were amazing and the place was super clean. There loads to do within a short distance on the island.

We loved our all-too-short stay in Villa #3. There were only two of us, but this villa can accommodate up to eight people. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the maintenance is impeccable! Towels are changed, and cleaning is done daily. The biggest highlight of this rental was the transportation service with Steve and Mohammad—two incredibly friendly and always available people who took us wherever we wanted, no matter the time! We highly recommend this rental without hesitation.

Monkey Flower Villas is an impressive villa in a beautiful setting. It is extremely spacious with huge rooms and patio area. Lovely design features and the landscaping of the gardens are beautiful. The lit pool was fantastic with a great view of Sairee Beach both day and night. The sunsets were stunning. The kitchen was downstairs and basic but we didn’t use it to cook so it was irrelevant. The Villa is a 5 minute drive from Sairee Beach up a very steep , private drive. There is no need to hire a car or scooters as the fabulous Mo is always at hand to drop you off and pick you up anytime and at short notice. He gave great recommendations for beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, bars , dive centres etc and took us anywhere on the island. Plus we loved the cool rides in the jeep, especially when Mo’s dog Sausage came along for the ride. A great guy and a real asset to the Villa. The cleaning ladies also did a thorough job daily.
