it is is an unbelievably beautiful setting, and the gardens are spectacular. The bungalows we stayed in were so well designed to blend into the jungle landscape. A few things to note when considering booking here (these are not problems, just things people like to know about a place) - it's a great beach to swim in at high tide, but not great at low tide. Still fantastic to laze around all day long. - the front office staff can arrange everything for you and at very reasonable rates (scooters, boats, taxis, there is no crazy hotel markup) - the minibars are super generous and free, and restocked daily - it's a good base to explore some other beaches for superb snorkeling by scooter or taxi - the restaurant was okay but not amazing. Getting to the main area with all the restaurants is a good 20 minute beach walk or a 5 minute taxi - I've seen a lot of reviews saying that the staff are not helpful, but they really are. - We were a big group of 7 from ages. 9 - 78 and we were all happy

The unfortunate geographic cove seems to catch music from one club from right across the bay. It is so strange because you can't really hear it anywhere else. It certainly didn't stop all 7 of us from sleeping well, but it is worth noting.

An amazing location. Good breakfast. Welcoming staff. The room was cool and unique. The beach is outstanding and it's really easy to walk from the beach to the main Sairee main street area. We (2 adults + 1 2yr old) had a really nice stay there.

Where to start - honestly this place just blew my mind! It was absolutely incredible! We stayed in the Koi Pool Villa (one of the more expensive options) and I would pay it all over again! It was an absolute dream with a huge villa but not too big for two people. You of course had daily villa and pool cleanings, with a constant supply of complimentary snacks and drinks (water/coke/redbull etc) daily. The private balcony and pool really sold this for us - being able to sit on your own balcony not 10 steps away from the ocean was truly divine and to take a dip in the pool when you felt like it was a game changer ✨ If you’re worried about there not being a shop close by - DONT be! There’s a 7/11 about a 10 minute walk down Sairee beach which also takes you to a town section too, lots to explore and nice places to eat as well! Just a little walk from the hotel there and back ☺️ I would 1000000% recommend anyone coming to koh Tao to spend a little more and live a moment of luxury on this beautiful island 🏝️ All of the lovely people that worked there were so friendly and helpful too! 🤍

Absolutely nothing - I would stay here AGAIN and again!

Staff helpful and super cool rooms and facilities . Very clean room and overall great. Would come back for a night but not longer . If you’re looking for a jungle type experience - this is your place.

Both pools were green which was so uncomfortable. I found this place quite pricey to what you actually receive.

The staff was incredibly hard-working, sweet, and kind. The ocean-view villa (n. 15) was very charming and furnished with great attention to detail. Bonus point for the school of baby black-tip sharks swimming near the snorkelling deck every day! It was a magic stay.

I would revamp the breakfast menu and refine the cuisine in general.

Pool stunning. Lovely tropical grounds. Pretty beach, great location, about 10 minutes to walk into town along the beach. Breakfast was good, plentiful and varied. Free snacks, water, soft and got drinks in the rooms

The food in the restaurant is not the best, and it is way overpriced. Eat in town. Be prepared for wildlife in the bathroom if you go for a cabin in the trees. Didn't bother us too much, but might not be everyone's cup of tea. Resort not for those with mobility issues

Beautiful cabanas in a fantastic location at the end of Sairee beach. The surroundings were lovely, felt very much part of nature with the semi open air bathroom, even had a visiting gecko one eve. The cabanas were huge and luxurious, very unique and the aircon packed a punch. Nice touch that the room had lots of complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks (which were replenished every day) and we even got a WhatsApp to double check if we’d like our room cleaned because we hadn’t hung the sign of the gate. Pool was a good size for the kids and nice and quiet. Really loved our stay here, right on the beach within minutes of everything Koh Tao has to offer but still felt private.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Buffet was not replenished very well, often ran out of cutlery, glasses and food in general, even though it’s only a small restaurant with what felt plenty of staff. Also lacking in shade on the outside terrace, which meant it was a bit uncomfortable (there were some mornings where there were no tables free inside so we didn’t have any other choice). Menu sounded nice but food ordered together often arrived 15-20 mins apart and when it did arrive it wasn’t all that great .. one morning my partner got his with a cheese slice still in the plastic wrapping! This didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the holiday though, we found it amusing more than anything!

We stayed in two villas at Koh Tao Cabana, which were beautiful and well-appointed—but on reflection, one larger villa with extra beds for the kids would have made more sense. It’s a pity this wasn’t suggested to us in advance, as it would’ve saved space and cost. Our main issue was the check-in process. When you know guests are arriving on the ferry, it’s reasonable to have the transfers and room keys ready. Unfortunately, we waited two hours from ferry to room, which was tough with three kids in tow. A smoother, more efficient welcome would make a big difference to the guest experience. That said, the resort itself is lovely. The variety of villas, the beachfront setting, and the restaurant staff were all excellent. Breakfast was top class, and the pool and beach area are stunning—perfect for relaxing, snorkelling, and watching the sunset. Overall, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives, but we hope the team takes on board the feedback around check-in and booking advice. With those small improvements, this could be a truly seamless luxury stay.

We stayed in the sunset cottage. The views were spectacular. The room was fabulous, as was the balcony with hammock and sunloungers. The cottage was spotless and cleaned every day. There was complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge that were restocked every day. Breakfast was excellent, there was a wide selection of food in the buffet and also an a la carte menu that you could order from. Lots of coffee choices too! Service was excellent, staff were very attentive and helpful. The grounds are beautiful - there are a lot of trees and greenery and because of that some mosquitos - complimentary bug spray in the room was a nice touch! Pool and beach area are lovely - we always managed to get a lounger and it was never too busy.

The bungalow we booked was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. It was the perfect size, with a spacious bathroom, a great shower, and a well-organized room that made it easy to feel at home. The restaurant was large and inviting, offering a stunning view of the beach. A highlight they offer free pick up and drop off to the pier, which we were very grateful. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic place to stay.

The property is built on a hillside, with bungalows spread across the terrain—a detail that took us by surprise. Reaching our room required climbing numerous steps, and while we embraced it as part of our workout routine, it did become quite exhausting. I also noticed other couples struggling with the climb. The property does not offer a fitness facility, which I see as a downside, especially given its high price. We have stayed at other properties for less than half the cost per night, and they still provided a dedicated fitness room.
