Four floors with no elevator

i loved everything! i was staying in a female 4-bed dorm, our dorm had its own shared bathroom with hot water (it worked really well). it was clean and very quiet in the room! the sleep is great there because the windows don’t overlook a busy street but at the same time the hostel’s location is really good, close to metro and city center 💫 win-win! but the terrace, oh, it is the most beautiful place for rest/work/having meals. Ali and Maya (the hosts) are such lovely people, Maya’s breakfasts are the best, it’s kind of a buffet, you have everything there: different cheeses, sausages, eggs (boiled and scrambled), fries, seasonal fruits (strawberries, apricots, watermelon, plums), veggies, coffee/tea/juices. also, Ali is so helpful. he really cares about people and jumps through the hoops to make their stay as comfortable as possible. i will recommend your hostel to everyone 🤍 great value for the money!!!

i always write honest reviews, but in this case, there is nothing I didn’t like. it was an enjoyable stay!

The breakfast was good and filing it had juices and coffee to go with it. The choices was sufficient. on the last after checking out we were allowed to store luggage, when we returned owner son was present he insisted that we have coffee, juices and fruit, we relaxed on the terrace till departure time.

One day we went to breakfast 40 minutes after opening hour, I found scrambled egg plate was empty, lady in charge said its over with a straight face, she could have easily made because kitchen was right behind her.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Showers with good hot water force. Breakfast is Tukrish and western with plenty of cheese, olives, sausages, cereals and bread. Adequate choice. Good view from the breakfast place (terrace) of the small street we are locating)

Limited toileteries. Our room is on 3rd floor (max 4 floors in the hotel) with tall stairs thus take some time and power to bring the luggage to our room. Otherwise everything is quite good. Places for placing luggage is a bit limited though.

Firstly when I entered the hotel I felt like “nah it’s just very normal one”. But then when I went up to the terrace, I was like “oh wow it’s super nice”. Breakfast was super good. I really like the varieties and the view, the atmosphere. The owner was super attentive, welcoming, hospitable, funny, chill, anyway, many many things you can find on him. The room is clean and tidy. I will come back to stay again.

I changed my room type and requested a private room. The owner was very helpful and kind, even though he didn't speak English; he did his best to assist me. The lady providing services was also very kind. Cleanliness was good, and the location is excellent—you can easily access all types of public transport.

If you have any difficulty for stairs, I don't recommend here as there was no elevator.

Having the morning coffe and the breakfast on the terrasse was really great... We have really enjoyed the turkish breakfast with the family . Location was optimal... nearby the metro and the tramway and at a walking distance from many restaurants and shopping centers... But most importantly was how lovely the owner and personnels are... they were very welcoming and we felt at Home... Simply highly recommended

All was great

The hotel is in a very good location close to most of the main attractions in Sultanahmet area. The staff are nice and accommodating, specially the manager who is really very helpful. They also provide daily breakfast in the terrace which has a nice view.

They can consider cleaning the room or at least check if commodities like towel or tissue needs to be replenished on a daily basis.

Location is perfect. It's near to the tram station. It's near to the grand bazaar. We walked most of the times and didn't take tram. No disturbance and peaceful at night. They changed towels and provided water bottles every day. You get different options in breakfast. It has nice sitting area. Staffs are very helpful. They are not proficient in english but still they put so much effort in helping out. The owner of the hotel helped and guided me with sim and travelling card. The only thing where I was expecting more was the size of the queen bed. As we were with 2 kids, we expected that the size of the bed would be sufficient. Otherwise everything was nice and perfect. My kids also enjoyed the stay.

They should clean the refrigerator frequently.

It's a very clean hotel. They change the towels every day. The location is good, near the Metro. The breakfast was really tasty and a lot of choices. They prepared very fresh food every day. The coffee and tea was good too. The cake was so good with coffee. They prepared drinking water in the top floor. It's very convenient in Istanbul. It's really quiet place to sleep. I really like it. The owner is so nice and helpful, we used Google translate to communication, I had very good times every morning.

The WiFi was weak sometimes,but everything was still good for me.
