Location is perfect. If you want to stay local then this place is it ! Walk up the street and across for 5 mins and the grand bazar is there. You have the tram that stops to a lot of the touristy places. Which is also very accessible and at the top of the hotel street. The local food tastes amazing. We stopped by a local food called Faith Kofte and their food is delicious! Staff at meduro hotel are very helpful and pleasant to speak to. We had a decent breakfast selection and cereal was also provided for kids / adults. For the price you pay you get your basic necessities, decor of the room is standard, AC, small long standing cupboard and shower and toilet. TV available and free WiFi. It does the job especially if you’re only using it to sleep in. There’s no lift however staff are helpful and available most of the day and night. I would definitely go back!! Water is provided when asked. Fridge has a mini freezer compartment which we made full use of!

You can’t fault it for the price you pay. Go with an open mind you start to enjoy it! One thing we didn’t like - WE FORGOT TO VISIT THE ROOF TOP!!! But that’s an oversight from our end rather the hotel so when you’re there visit the roof top during sunset.

I stayed at Maduro Hotel for about a week, and I can genuinely say the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They also offer a variety of tours that they can book for you, making it super convenient for travelers. The hotel is in a great location—just a 5-minute walk to the train station, which is a huge plus when exploring Istanbul, it is a an uphill walk but it’s better then most of the hills in turkey! Even better, it’s right by a vibrant food street filled with affordable and delicious dining options. The hotel itself is clean and well-presented. My room was tidy, and the bathroom was surprisingly modern and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place with excellent service. One thing to note is that there’s no elevator (we booked it knowing there was no elevator) but the staff are more than happy to assist with your luggage. Overall, it’s a charming and welcoming place to stay

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect for us, as we love to explore cities on foot. It was located with easy walking access to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. The staff were outstanding: friendly, professional, and always happy to help. Their warm hospitality really made a difference and contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and healthy, with a great variety of options to choose from. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Staff were excellent, healthy breakfast, great location, and the manager Mert was very helpful with guiding us and helping us in the city. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi worked very well. Plenty of toiletries in the restroom, and everything was mostly clean (besides some dust) and it was overall a great place to stay!

No elevators, seating in breakfast is a bit congested, our room is a little dusty. Overall just needs improvement in breakfast area.

We had a pleasant stay at this cozy 3-star hotel. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a nice variety to start the day well. Special thanks to Mert at reception – he was very friendly and polite, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, great value for the price.

Would have loved a faster internet connection, but it was enough for vid calls. Had issues with the casting/screensharing from phone to tv

The location is just perfect; it's walking distance to some touristy spots, but it's also far enough from the main street, so it's pretty quiet. There are 2 markets about 50 meters from the hotel. There's a guy that sells delicious freshly squeezed OJ and pomegranate seeds for your daily fruit intake. The view in my room was TO DIE FOR, I liked going out on the balcony both mornings and evenings. The guys at the reception were always very helpful. The hairdryer in our room didn't work. We let them know before going out, and when we got back, there was a new one put in.

Absolutely despised the slippers. They were pretty useless. It would maybe be a good idea to either change them every day or to just buy some better quality ones so they can be used for longer. There's no elevator, and our room was on the 5th floor. I do, however, have to say that it was doable, even after a long day of exploring Istanbuls streets, and that says a lot coming from someone that avoids taking the stairs even for one floor.

The staff was nice and welcoming throughout our entire stay. While the breakfast was the same every day, we enjoyed it. The bread was always fresh, the yoghurt was tasty, there was quite a nice variety of drinks. We wished there was a proper coffee machine instead of a kettle for instant coffee since it doesn’t have much to do with actual coffee. The closeness to the most important historical sites and the Bosfor strait was a huge plus.

The room was spacious enough for the three of us, but outdated, and the TV didn’t work properly most of the time. No elevator 🥲

Breakfast at the hotel was great. There are other hotels in nearby, so you see many tourists around. In neighborhood there are local businesses to produce goods, so there are also some traffic and local workers around.

There is no elevator at the hotel. This is considerable if you have physical problem to take stairs and your room is on >3th floor. Also to reach the main street you need almost 5 minute walk uphills.

It was a very clean, very comfortable hotel. I was very pleased with my visit. The hotel team was very attentive, friendly and helped me a lot. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, it is very easy to reach everywhere. You can reach all the historical locations you want within walking distance. Hotel staff helps you by giving directions when you tell them where you want to go. There are many different tour options, but I could not participate because I did not have time.

Nice place near Center and turistic places and near trams. People from hotel very pleasant, giving advices and helpful. Especially Mert and Sabir. Thank you. Near great pastery and bazar. Nice local restaurants. Good rooms everything is there. For some rooms view on Bosphorus. My family will come back. Good address. Thank you
