I recently stayed at this apartment and was very pleased. Everything is new, clean and fresh. It is obvious that the apartment is well maintained. The hostess is a miracle! She is very attentive to guests and prepared detailed lists of places to visit in Halkidiki, with QR codes and links. It was so convenient! The apartment had absolutely everything you need - from dishes and spices in the kitchen to washing powder and soap in the bathroom. I felt at home, and if I come to Halkidiki again, I will definitely stay here! It was also very pleasant to receive a personal gift from the apartment owner!

The location of this hotel is unbeatable—right at the boundary of Topkapi Palace, with Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque just a short walk away. Everything a tourist could want to explore is easily accessible from here. While the hotel itself is small, it's incredibly charming and peaceful, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. There are plenty of street food vendors, shopping options, and local attractions nearby. A special mention to the owner, Engi Coskun, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He’s not just a hotel manager but more of a friend, always ready to offer advice and guidance on anything I needed. The hospitality from Mohanad was also fantastic, making me feel truly welcomed. I especially loved having the freedom to make coffee in the cozy kitchen downstairs. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul. It’s the perfect combination of location, comfort, and amazing hospitality

A fabulous stay from start to finish. Engin made us feel very welcome and offered us fantastic recommendations for Istanbul - whilst avoiding tourist traps! Nothing was ever too much trouble for him or the other staff. Whether it was providing an umbrella to protect us from the rain, or making us a well deserved coffee after a long day, they were also happy to go the extra mile. Additionally, the hotel is located in a prime spot. Only a short walk from the main tourist attractions, as well as the tram stop if you’re looking to take public transport. We were also only a short walk away from plenty of restaurants and shops. Whilst the rooms weren’t large, we would deserve them as “Cosy”. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern and the room was immaculate. For the price we paid, The Seaway Hotel has exceeded our expectations and we look forward to staying here again the next time we return to Istanbul.

Engi, the owner of the Seaview Hotel is incredibly friendly and helpful and will go out of his way to help his guests! The hotel is conveniently situated just a few minutes for the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Blue Mosque. The hotel is spotless! I highly recommend this lovely little hotel!

Nothing! Just a few tips for a better stay: Take earplugs if you are noise sensitive, the hotel is not noise proof, I am happy I did! There is no bottled water, coffee, tea etc in the room, but guests can fill their water bottles and make themselves coffee/tea in the little kitchen at reception. Ask Engi about cheaper restaurants, the area is very expensive! Be very careful of local taxi drivers, they are not very honest! I am well travelled and was ripped off more than once! Make sure you have enough change for the exact meter amount.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to Sultanahmet Square. The staff is very nice, especially Engin. Our room was not big, but that doesn't really matter since we only used it to crash after a long day of walking and sightseeing anyway. The bed was big enough for two people and – most importantly – very comfortable and firm.

Several times I encountered problems with the hot water supply, I had to turn off and turn on the water repeatedly until it magically fixed itself, that was a bit annoying but not impossible to endure. Also, the entire room could have been cleaner, for instance the flush button and the bathroom door were full of streaks and fingerprints. It wasn't dirty, don't get me wrong, just maybe not exceptionally clean.

The staff are all very welcoming, friendly and nice. Always ready to help and have the best suggestions when required. They keep in mind the guest's comfort and needs. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Nothing short of a 5* experience. The location of the hotel is just perfect. Only a couple minutes away from Hagia Sophia and Topkapi entrance. You could see Topkapi from the hotel room. All conveniences are located within the vicinity.

I love everything about my stay at the Seaway Hotel.

I liked this property so much. I had a bad experience with my previous hotel in Istanbul, so I was ready for unexpected problems. But this stay was just great. I felt safe, welcome. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is clean, furniture is quite new. Location is great. 7-10 minutes to Blue Mosque and T1 central tram line. If you go down to Bosporus, it’s 4 minutes to autobus, which reaches Eminonu in several minutes. We had a fridge in room, it was a big plus. Shower and toilet were private and good, coffee in the shared kitchen is good as well.

The property is located near the popular attractions in Istanbul. Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, and Basilica Cistern are just walking distance from the hotel. The owner/property manager is really nice, helpful, and very accomodating. The room I booked is pretty small, but it is clean and comfortable. I really cannot complain about it because it's cheap, you get your money's worth.

Not really towards the property, but with some other guests. It's a basic room and I am not expecting it to be soundproof. So guests should be mindful that they are not the only one staying in the hotel. I understand that they are travelling for fun, but still, need to consider that while they are having fun, some guests are trying to rest. Maybe, management can be proactive in reminding guests about this.

Engi is top host. He helped us so much with everything. All the staf was super friendly and ready to help. Location is top, rooms are big enough. Bathrooms are comfortable. Overall, its a great value for money to feel safe and comfortable after city's exploration. İt made our stay in İstanbul much nicer )

Keep in mind that some of the rooms are looking into the kitchen and do not have a view to the city. However, if you want a room with a view, just make a request before arrival, i am pretty sure that the hotel will provide you with one if there is an availability.

He’s always ready to assist, answer any questions, and give useful tips about the city. The hotel itself is very clean, with everything maintained to a high standard. The coffee is simply fantastic — Engin personally ensures its quality. Starting each morning with a fresh cup of coffee was a real treat. The hotel is located right in the city center, which is super convenient. Despite that, it’s very quiet inside, making it a perfect place to rest.
