Location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was Ok. Not many items, but the quality was good. rooftop location was fantastic, beautiful view of Bosphorus. Hotel was very clean, and location was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

I booked a specious deluxe room with sea view and balcony by making additional payment. After checked in we found that they gave me a very small double bed room, very little sea view and no balcony, only a window in their main wing. there is very little space to keep our luggage. After talking to their manager, they moved us to another room which was bit specious with a large window (no balcony and little sea view) in their newly extended wing which does not have elevator. Therefore, we had to take stairs all the time. Hotel should clarify these issues in their room explanation.

The hotel is lovely and in a great location, a short walk to the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. It is located in 3 different buildings only one of which has a lift. It has a rooftop restaurant with amazing views. The manager and bellboy were very helpful when we needed to change rooms.

We booked an amazing room with a patio and the best views but unfortunately we were unaware that the building did not have a lift (Shared room with a friend who has 2 knee replacements) so climbing 3 flights of stairs was out of the question. Personally I didn't like the bed but my room mate didn't have any problems with them.

Everything! Stayed at this hotel before and have never been disappointed. The executive room we stayed in had everything we needed. A big room and the balcony is so big. Lots of toiletries provided. Bed comfortable. Room cleaned everyday! Free water. Fridge was cold. Never had a wifi problem. A/c worked well and thankfully was away from the bed. Water was always hot in the shower. I needed an iron so called reception and was given one within half hour. Plenty of light as floor to ceiling windows. All light controls are next to the bed as well as sockets. Smart tv so one can connect to Netflix. The staff are so helpful, polite and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is in another building across the road. Buffet style it was adequate.

There’s no lift access to the top floor so plenty of stairs!! Well lit up at night though. The rain shower could be a bit more powerful but i didn’t have a problem with it.

I’ve stayed in many hotels in Sultanahmet. First time at Joyway Hotel and it was incredible. We had the Executive room with a huge balcony and sea view. The room was exceptionally clean, TV had Netflix in English, bed was comfortable, shower had constant hot water, room cleaned everyday, A/C worked well and we were able to leave on at night as not over the bed, water provided everyday, plug sockets next to the bed. Steps to the ground floor were lit up well.

Because it’s in the annexe there is no lift and this room is on the 3rd floor which is 54 steps.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was fantastic. The reception staff were friendly, always smiling, and made me feel welcome right from the start. The room was spotless, well-decorated, and had all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

ordered room service one evening, craving a chicken pizza, and placed my order at 8:30 PM. To my surprise, the order wasn’t delivered until 12:30 AM—a full four hours later! To make matters worse, the pizza I received wasn’t what I had ordered. Instead of the chicken pizza I was expecting, they delivered a Margherita pizza.

It was our first traveling to Istanbul. We really fall in love with this city. We chose Joyway hotel - located in the city center. The perfect place from which to explore Istanbul. Clean, quiet and comfy hotel. Our room was tiny, but very comfortable, warm and clean. I was surprised that it was quite even it's in the heart of the popular place. 2-minute walk to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. It's very nice to start your city exploring visiting this historical places. Great location if you're looking to explore city - most sightseeing was within walking distance and easy access to public transport. The staff at Joyway hotel were fantastic! They really made us feel at home.

EMRE I recently had a wonderful experience Joyway that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional professionalism which was EMRE. They made the check-in process smooth and efficient, providing all the information I needed about the hotel amenities and local attractions. Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the head of house keeping is Hassan who is amazing at his job. The housekeeping staff maintained high standards, ensuring that my room was spotless and comfortable every day. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Finally EMRE the chef who was in charge breakfast made sure our food was 10/10 Overall, the combination of friendly reception staff and diligent cleaning staff created a welcoming atmosphere that I truly appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and well-maintained place to stay.

First thing first, fantastic hospitality and friendly staff, never made me feel uneasy to ask for things and have also upgraded me to better room due to my needs. Also quick to reply and message to confirm anything. Overall 11/10 many thanks

That I didn’t stay longer

the room was really clean and beautiful in terms of furniture. the guys at the reception are very kind and helpful. the location is perfect right next to Hagia Sophia.

3 out of 4 rooms were without windows, which resulted in no ventilation and no air. the plinth above the bed is not fixed to the wall, so if you turn off the socket, you practically drag the entire bed with you, which is not pleasant because that piece of wood, or the plinth of the bed, is large. everything can be heard in the rooms, especially if you are on the ground floor right up to the reception. breakfast is modest.

Amazing location in the historical district; close to public transport from airport and for sightseeing; great rooftop restaurant with terrace; view from the room of Topkapi Palace grounds walls and of the Bosphorus; having an elevator; air conditioning worked well; nearby rooftop bars and restaurants

I didn’t need breakfast included but that was the only choice for me at time of booking; elevator was noisy - my room 301 on 1F was next to it, but I use ear plugs to sleep
