⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional experience! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Istanbul! The location is absolutely perfect – just a few steps away from major tourist attractions such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Everything is within easy reach, including excellent restaurants, shops, and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and professional – always ready to offer helpful advice and assist with any request. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and looking for a welcoming, centrally located place with high-quality services. We will definitely come back!

The property was just as we expected, a budget accommodation, just a few minutes from Topkapi Palace and other landmarks in the center. The administrator was very helpful, assisting us with finding a parking spot, guiding us to the accommodation, and recommending a great place to have a delicious meal. He is a very kind and accommodating person, and we really appreciated his help. For us, it mattered more to be close to the center because we love the area and all the hustle and bustle of the merchants and tourists, and we wanted to be able to go for a walk at any time. The small imperfections of the hotel where we stayed didn't affect us much at all because the area was worth everything

We had a few minor inconveniences caused by other guests who made a lot of noise at very late hours. However, this is in no way the hotel's fault, as the behavior of guests is not something that can be controlled. Otherwise, climbing the steep stairs might be a challenge, but we managed to survive just fine.

hotel with good location, very close to Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, and Borporus River. The balcony and the terrace on the top hotel can see Borporus River 4 places that are icons of Istanbul city. The staff named Faruk, Halit, and Roshan are very friendly and always pay attention to the guests. Regarding the price, it is reasonable with the expectation of location and a good level of cleanliness of the hotel. because I was staying at a hotel and had to work. The staff Faruk chose a room with a work desk so I could work comfortably using a laptop. Recommended!!!

I spent three months searching for the perfect hotel with a great location because I wanted to take my family on a 10-day stay, so finding the right place was crucial. When I found this hotel, it was exactly what I was looking for! It’s ideally located near Aya Sofia, close to the metro station, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself was very comfortable and spotless, with a cleaning service every two days. The staff, especially Khaled and Daniel, were exceptionally kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone—it was perfect in every way!

Location is #1, 5 minutes walking distance to the major attractions in the old town. The neighborhood is safe to walk in the morning and midnight (at least during our stays Mid-March). Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. Price is reasonable compared to other hotels. Staff Rachid is friendly and helpful to answer our questions in good English. when our taxi driver arrived earlier, he reminded us asap. Breakfast is not included so we can try it in local cafe or save time to start our tour early in the morning.

The room(Deluxe family room for 4 people) facility is basic, and the bathroom is a little bit small. There is no elevator. Somehow the credit card pos machine was not working when we checked in, so we paid in cash and were out of USD quickly for the rest of trip (usually we use credit cards and bring very little cash for travel). With high inflation in Turkey now (Mar 2023), local people may prefer USD and Euro I guess.

Location !! It was very close to blue mosque and shopping areas. With kids we felt comfortable walking to these close by spots without having to take a taxi. We did not have noise issues and kids were able to sleep well. Hotel staff arranged the taxis for airport. Good restraunts at walkable distance.

It’s descent for the price but doesn’t look brand new. No kettle or water provided in room you will have to go down to reception to take water from RO every time. For tea and coffee as well no cups were provided in room you have to take the use and Throw cups from reception. No complimentary break fast. No lift but we were in 1st floor and the hotel staffs helped with getting the luggages to our room.

The hotel was an excellent choice. View of the Hagia Sophia from our window, helpful and extremely friendly staff. We were fully satisfied with the accommodation.

I cannot say anything bad about the accommodation, they did everything we needed and were very kind to us. The trip didn't go as we planned though. So my advice is, visit Istanbul at your own risk. Be very aware of your valuables, watch out for pick-pockets and thieves at all times when roaming the streets or chilling in a park. Choose hotel Empress Theodora II for your stay, you will be safe there and it will be a good base for your trip, and hopefully if you take my previous advice, your time outside the hotel will also be safe and pleasant.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are very nice, with excellent beds that ensured a comfortable night's sleep. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom, which was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us in booking a cruise on the Bosphorus, which was a highlight of our trip. We also appreciated the option for a late check-in, as it allowed my elderly mother to rest in the room before our departure. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul.

While our stay at the hotel was great, we encountered some difficulty with the staircase. The spiral design made it challenging for older guests to navigate up and down.

My 2nd time staying at this hotel in Istanbul. Daniel and his team are very welcoming. The location is superb and the facilities great. Just a few mins walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

Nothing. I would not return if I didn't like it. If I'm being super critical.. the lack of an elevator for older visitors or with disabilities. But this probably cannot be helped due to the existing building arrangement.

The location of the Hotel is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. They allowed us late check out without charging us as they could see we had 2 infants with us. The Owner is a very good man and there were 3 receptionist including khalet and other 2 (Im sorry I dont remember the name of the other 2) who were very helpful and easy to communicate with. I will surely visit them again
