Loved the staff. Nothing was too much for Zeenat and Ashwini. Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds .The food was lovely too

As requested during check-in, we were given a room on a higher floor (20th) with a sea view. The room size was good, and so were the amenities. Being a TATA hotel, their customer service is second to none. The bed was big and very comfortable, as were the pillows. The Bathroom was huge, too, and the rainshower was so refreshing. We were having difficulty connecting to the Hotel's Wi-Fi, but their rep was in our room quickly and connected us to the Taj Inner Circle Wi-Fi network ASAP.

The outside of the windows could have been cleaner for a better view. But considering it was the monsoons, I guess they can't clean them that often.

Of course, being Taj it has high standards. Rooms were very clean and we had a sea vue on the 23rd floor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The dinner at Vista was also very good. Breakfast at the club lounge was delicious, and their service was good too.

The management of breakfast at L2 in the mornings looked like challenge. It was so busy and waiting in the queues was not a pleasant experience. For a hotel this size and price, there should be better arrangements to manage such busy times. We couldn't get in the L2 buffet breakfast both days. The queues put us off, so we used the club lounge, and it was very good.but not buffet.

Extremely warm and welcoming reception staff, and everyone for that matter. Initially had an issue with the allocated room which was extremely noisy due to construction work going on in the hotel. It did take a few follow ups but were ultimately upgraded into a quiet room with superb views after the Manager's intervention and also given lounge access with free cocktails & snacks during happy hours. Housekeeping was prompt and rooms were spotless. Good work, Ashwini, Marie & Prabhakar! Loved your farewell visit!

All was perfect except for the initial issue about the noisy room, which was satisfactorily resolved.

The location, although away from some of the 'crush' that is Mumbai, it's just a short (cheap) cab ride from any of the sights. The club facility with it's afternoon tea and evening happy hour were excellent. The room and general ambiance of the hotel was excellent. All the staff who work here go out of their way to make the stay a very pleasant one. Nothing is too much trouble. Particularly enjoyed rooftop swimming pool and leisure centre. Had a aromatherapy massage there that was actually the best I have ever had.... and I've had a few. Always felt very safe here.

As with any trip to India you have to steel yourself to the luxury and opulance of the interior of a great hotel chain against the abject poverty all around you on the outside. But that is India and it does seem to be changing for the better.

All the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Great lobby bar and tasty snacks. Amazing selection of whiskies - over 100! Taj Club rooms are great and the Club lounge is a great facility.

The hotel facade and some of the rooms are looking tired. However, the hotel has started to revamp both of these things, so I am sure it will retain its high standards. A coffee pod machine was provided in the room, but with no pods. I was told I would have to purchase them. Considering the price of the room, that is outrageous! Even budget hotels in the UK provide some pods!

I booked a stay at Taj Lands End Bandra to celebrate my mother’s birthday and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived the hospitality stood out. Aditya at the front desk warmly welcomed us and even upgraded our room to a sea view a gesture that made my mother’s day extra special. She absolutely loved the view and the overall ambience. My daughter had a wonderful time too.The toddler friendly play area near the pool kept her happily engaged and she was especially thrilled to interact with and feed the rabbits a thoughtful touch for families traveling with young children. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary cake sent to our room for the birthday which added a lovely personal touch to the celebration. At check out Vinay ensured everything was to our satisfaction and genuinely checked in on how our stay had been. It’s these small but meaningful gestures that make the Taj experience stand out. A big thank you to the entire team for making it such a warm and joyful celebration for three generations of our family.

Breakfast was great. Aneesh and the chef took great care of me at breakfast as I have severe peanut allergy. And despite the foods being labelled with allergens they made fresh food for me. Checked in with me a lot. Service was friendly and helpful. May have been nice to have fresh decaf coffee, but they were great at using my instant decaf and making coffee for me. Was going to stay at Novotel, but so glad I came here instead. Beautiful lobby, and facilities,esp sauna steam and gym. Well done Taj, would def come back !

Room a little dated. Some minor stains on the lampshade. Bathroom a little old. But for the money and Mumbai, I think it was good value Small complaint- , when checking in, receptionist a little minimal on detail, insisted on adding all incidentals upfront as well as room charge (never happened to me anywhere else in five star hotel ). No info on when breakfast was, facilities, no welcome drink until I asked. However I arrived now at Hyatt at Cochin and receptionist gave me all these details and even walked me to the lift! Garlands, welcome drink and tikka. Such a contrast. But this is a small detail and I did enjoy my stay and would come back.

Excellent food, polite staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very child friendly and the location is unbeatable.

For the cost, it’s a bit absurd that the tvs aren’t smart. Even cheap airbnbs have smart TVs these days. Another reviewer called the staff robotic and I agree. It was difficult to get real engagement when trying to communicate an issue. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor so it was very very loud at times, when there were events. We could hear every single word of our neighbour’s phone conversations. Impossible to eat at the poolside without being attacked by crows, which was quite funny but still annoying.

I stayed at this hotel for training and arrived two days early to explore Mumbai. My experience was truly unforgettable. As a solo traveler arriving at midnight, I appreciated the seamless airport pickup. Seeing the hotel staff waiting for me was a huge relief. The 40-minute ride allowed me to relax, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the 24th floor. The luxurious room instantly eased my travel fatigue. Housekeeping’s thoughtful touches—handwritten notes, bath salts, a dessert, and even a rose—made my stay extra special. A heartfelt thank you to the 24th-floor team—Maeiexu, Dilip, and Binary—for making my Mumbai trip so memorable!
