The room is nice, I love the unblocked view of the sky, me and my sister really enjoy staying in the hotel room and marvel at the sky view! The location is good, and a good value for money.

...the cleanliness can be improved, there are fine dust scattered at the kettle area, the tv screen and on table tops...it can be very dangerous for people with sinus issues or dust allergy...since we spend a lot of time in the hotel room, it'd be very nice to have it sparkling clean. It would be nice to have a clear instructions on how to use the phone, there are times we want to call the front desk but failed, the e-request QR code provided was useless, maybe a regular updates would be nice

Location is on a mall. Plenty of food alternatives and shopping possibilities.

If you have plenty of luggage, better to drop it of at the reception before parking the car. It is long way from parking place to hotel reception.

We stayed 2 nights . The second day when they clean the room , the cleaner did not clean 2 2 cups we used to make tea. The used bag still in the uneashed cup . They also did not give us our drinking water . The toilet paper is small and we have to asked for another one . Most hotels put a spare one in the room . The room phone is out of order and I must make a trip down to inform them that I need toilet paper .

I have stayed in KSL many times and it was really very bad previously a few years back. Lifts were slow, TVs were outdated, room was in poor condition etc. However, i am surprised that KSL has put in the effort to improve many things. 1) The lifts were all upgraded and now it has almost no waiting time compared to previously where i had to wait 30 mins for a lift to be available cos it was slow and crowded all the time. 2) I noticed they have place water dispenser on the my room lobby, not sure if it is the same for the rest of the floors but it is definitely a great addition. 3) Finally, the TV has been upgraded to Samsung Smart TV. Now i can watch youtube or cast my phone to the tv on my free time. No more analog channels with the boring shows. Previously i was reluctant to stay at KSL after a horrendous experience but the past few stays have definitely changed my opinion. For the price they are charging, i think its worth it.

Although some upgrades have been made, the rooms still show signs of aging despite the renovations

Location is great, staff were friendly helped to change the kettle as the original one in the room was dirty.

The aircon wasn’t cleaned properly, a lot of dust coagulated in the vents. And the bathtub drain smelled very badly

big tv size is v gd. breakfast - we were late, so some foods were gone. gd if we can have morning calls so we reach there earlier.

bed - the blanket made me itch. fridge was empty. thought there would be some drink options there. esp if we need to drink something late at night.

First visit to Johor Bahru and first time stay at KSL Hotel. I find that Tower 2 was quite a long walk. It would be good if you have more eating facility for yum cha, and Chinese restaurant beside the Soup dining. The value for the room was quite reasonable. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

I find that there were too many people blocking the entrance of the hotel, waiting to be picked up. There were not much room to manoeuvre around to get into the hotel. Also there were no power points to charge your phone or appliances within the hotel floor once you checked out of your room. The Starbuck in front of the hotel was packed with people just hanging and waiting around. Not many seats available.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and I especially appreciated the firm mattress, which made for a great night's sleep. The location was amazing with a Starbucks right in the lobby, and it was incredibly convenient to be able to walk straight from the hotel into the mall. Would definitely stay here again!

One downside was that there was a lot of advertising about the option for late check-out for a fee, but when I asked, it wasn't actually available, which was a bit disappointing. However, I was able to store my bags for the day and pick them up later when I was ready, which helped a lot. Overall, still a very positive experience!

Staff Salman did not read my request and gave room which was the one that I had requested . Straight answer to my face with an attitude telling me the hotel rooms are full. I have made full payment upon booking. I don't mind giving up the request if he spoke to me nicely without showing his attitude behaviour. I'm so upset with the service now at the front desk. Last time all the staff were friendly but nowadays I gave a poor rating for the staff at the front desk. And the lift was so slow , we gave up and took the service lift.

- Cigarette smell in the middle of the night. I am not sure if someone is smoking outside or if smoke happened to enter through the vents - Manual control for aircon - Decentralised light switches -> have to walk around the room to switch off the respective lights before going to bed.
