- nice location - friendly staff - big room, good wi-fi, tea, coffee and water provided in the room - nice pool on 6th floor, towels provided! - nice breakfast - great choice of food!

- the rooms are really cold and you can't control it as the general ventilation system in the hotel is set to cold temperature and the ac controller doesn't work for warm temperatures - water in the shower isn't hot - windows don't open and poor view from the window

The reception staff was extremely polite and helpful. The location within close proximity to the KLCC, the Twin Towers, the Pavillion mall, and the bus terminal helped a lot. Excellent and clean facilities in the catering section.

The linen looked limp and overused - lacked crispness. I wasn't impressed by the state of the walls - dire need of a coat of fresh paint. Cleaning staff merely made the bed and renewed supplies - no evidence of bathroom being cleaned on a daily basis.

I stayed at this hotel twice - once at the start of my trip to Malaysia then after some internal travelling around - total 8 days. the room was a good size and water was refreshed daily and if you didn't want your room cleaned housekeeping left water/any items needed such as shower gels. the hotel staff were friendly and let me leave my luggage and i had a late checkout at 5pm (for a cost!) on last day. room was always nice and clean. hotel was a great location to walk to lot 24 (shops) and bukit bitang MRT and shops and restaurants and near local hawker vendors (and some tourist western bars/sports bars if thats your thing!). pool and restaurant/bar had a good selection of food/drinks and staff were very friendly and can have food to room if you are tired.

it would have been nice to have a robe as well as slippers! Breakfast lacked healthy options although this is common for most hotels. I had to have an omelette most days as healthiest option, would have been nice to have oats, museli or yoghurts so not all fried/fatty/unhealthy options.

It was our first trip to Malaysia and I can say Verdant Hill Hotel made our trip really pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel, along with its staff and services is just outstanding. It deserves a five star as the staff (including the on-duty managers and housekeeping) was very nice and friendly, there was a wide availability of choices for breakfast, the room and the bathroom was not only spotless but also luxurious and of course, the swimming pool is a blessing. The hotel is very near to Jalan Alor Food Street, Chinatown Petalling, The Pavillion, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang Plaza. One thing I will definitely say is that Verdant Hill Hotel would be one of the main reasons why I would like to travel again to Kuala Lumpur.

Everything was so perfect at Verdant Hill Hotel that I just can't find any flaws or things that I didn't like. It's an amazing hotel.

We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I didn't get the names but everyone at the front desk were nice specially the only lady on duty. Very helpful and can speak and understand English very well. Breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations they had Halal vegetarian, Indian, continental food options such as pancakes, breads and pastries with jams and syrup with honey that was very good, prata, vegetable curry, baked beans and roasted potatoes, lean beef strips, congee, laksa noodle soup, dim-sum, sausages, veggies, fruits, sweet rice dessert, salads, brewed coffee and tea with full cream milk. We were always full! Breakfast buffet was 630-1030am during our stay. The view from the pool and our hotel room is buildings but we didn't mind that much. Location was good very walk-able from Jalon Alor Food Street where you can find a variety of Asian (Malay, Chinese, Singaporean, Thai, etc) food, steamboat food sticks (boiled or fried), fruits especially durian and drinks. The hotel itself is not usually passed by taxis but the reception can help you. We booked taxi using the Grab App some can speak / understand English but most cannot. The hotel room was always cleaned up well by housekeeping tho they usually arrive late in the afternoon in our room. It's okay since we're usually out in the city that time. There is electric kettle, mini ref, bottled water, shampoo, bath gel, toothbrush, shaving razor and cream, soap and tissue available in the room. The power outlets are different so bring an adaptor or buy from a local store. We bought one for RM10 nearby. The bathroom was spacious and the water heater worked like a charm there was no delay in the water heating. Overall had a great stay at this hotel. We were a family of 3 and my father is a big guy but we had no problems in the hotel. They also have a gym but just a small one. The room stayed TOO cold but the blankets and comforters kept us cozy and warm.

The thermostat of the room seemed like it wasn't working. It stayed 20 degrees Celsius even if I changed it to 25 or even 30 it was so cold but the blankets keep you warm. There was a door connecting to the next room that had no lock but I think you can only open your side of the room and the other side can't open ours

High value for money, simple, functional, clean, nice rooms and facilities, staff is attentive to requests, breakfast is good as well as the food at the restaurant. Location is central, close to KLCC, main touristic attractions and rooftops, at walking distance from Changkat Bukit Bintang road with many bars, pubs and restaurants. Considering the price, I was really happy with my stay and recommend this hotel for short stays.

A few aspects that might be improved: - In the access corridors to the rooms AC was too strong compared to other spaces and there was some smoke smell. - Shower water in my room didn't come hot on the first day, but after informing the reception it was immediately fixed and they showed also availability to change the room. This was very appreciated.

Air con unit is so noisy and the walls are rather thin so I would recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

We love staying at the verdant. Highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping area. There are stacks of eateries, restaurant, bars, vibrant at night & only a few minutes walk to all of this but still have a quiet location at hotel to sleep soundly with no noise!!! We have always found the staff to be exceptional in all areas. Excellent response to any problem, or needing anything. All are very friendly & courteous & always smile & say hello. Breakfast is A++ with wide selection of choices for all. Grab taxi's easy to get & very cheap if you are from Australia. We used them a lot while in Asia. This hotel is very well priced but does book up early so I suggest Plan ahead to book & I'm sure you should be happy there. The pool is excellent too. We used it most days while there.

Perfect location - 100 meters away from the district with restaurants and bars, approx. 15-20 minutes walking to all key places- KLCC Petronas Towers, Chinatown, Independence Square, Shopping Mall Berjaya Times Square and Shopping Malls Pavilion & Fahrenheit. Grab to all these places is around 8-15 MYR (2-3 USD). Hotel is siutated on the quiet street. Rooms seems to be slightly outdated in terms of style, but spacious with a big bathroom. It is clean. Staff is helpful and nice. They let us extend a checkout for an hour. Breakfast is ok.

everything was good. my second time staying here. will be back again.

parking is very very tight. if drive a large car, might be challenging to park in the parking lot..
