No showers. Even if they had outdoor showers that would be okay

overpriced for sure . for the quality of the building and facility and restaurant, it is absolutely not worth the full price . and it would take an idiot to rent the 6k $ room.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place is pure magic. everything was amazing. I was hesitating to book because of the terrible reviews they have here, but after staying there, I can’t understand them. perhaps it comes from people that don’t understand the concept of the hotel or are looking for a complete different type of holidays… you won’t find a crowded all inclusive resort there, if that’s what you’re looking for. this hotel touched my heart and soul. It gives you the perfect platform to disconnect and reconnect. I felt so connected to myself, to the nature around and overall present and grateful. every corner of this place is specially curated and extremely beautiful. also the daily activities included for the guests are great. i tried the spa and it was exceptional. they have holistic treatments for the body, mind and soul. some of them performed by a shaman. everything was perfect, including the staff… the angels, security, the waiters, mixologists, hostesses, sommelier, bell boys. I was treated with love and care. I felt at home. I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to extend my stay. and if I could, I would have stayed longer. I will definitely come back.

it is pricey… the stay and everything in the hotel, I.e. food, drinks, treatments, but if you can afford it, it’s worth every penny

Very different, cool concept, noting like we have ever experienced before.The hotel is pricey enough but a unique experience. Nice beach, Magy was awesome. Upscale clientele.

The food was tasty but obnoxiously expensive, beyond gouging, $250 cdn for a steak, $107 for a pasta dish, $57 for an appetizer, $16 for a bottle of water and a 20% tip automatically added. The meal was 500 percent higher than what you would pay in Canada. Take a taxi into town and you can get great meal for 10 percent of the cost to eat there.

Amazing property and the most beautiful hotel I had ever stayed at! I saw this hotel at instagram, but in person it is even better! it was a fiery tail place with amazing vibe. the staff was exceptional and so helpful, everything was thought through 100%.

I have no complains at all. if someone does, they probably need to read about the hotel style and be more prepare for this type of the vacation. I wanted to disconnect and it was perfect for me!

I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews on here. Y’all really sound like closed minded, entitled and rude people! We were so grateful for our stay here! This place was AWESOME & exceeded our expectations, from the extremely warm welcome from the staff who were so attentive and helpful, to the cleansing ceremony, and all the interesting activities and sharing of culture they had available to us. The rooms were well kept and out of a DREAM! Yes there were no lights, but IF YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION at all you’d know that (you reviewers who complained, it’s on you for not reading properly). The breakfast and massages were wonderful and you cannot beat the sounds of the ocean, being surrounded by wildlife, and experiencing mind blowing sunrises and sunsets! AMAZING place to relax, UNPLUG & reconnect with yourself and the one you love! I’d especially like to shout out Luis our guide/server for our stay. He was such a kind soul and so good at his job.

Azulik is a beautiful nature retreat in the middle of jungle. Beautiful design. Room was good size with air con and a fan, bathtub in the outside terrace. Candles at night in the room created romantic mood. The rooftop bar is amazing at the sunset with gorgeous views! All hotel guests get free access to the rooftop and the museum which is absolute piece of art. They do negative energy cleanse ritual for everyone arriving to the hotel. After that we had energy diagnostic workshop which we liked a lot aswell. In the morning we had a yoga class which was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and very aesthetic. Overall very happy with the whole experience. Highly recommend for everyone considering to stay for 1-2nights.

Salty water. The fan above the bed was very loud, we had to switch it off at night, however this was not an issue at all as there was air con.

Staff really went above and beyond to make us and our stay feel special. The rooms are out of a storybook and really comfy even if the amenities are somewhat primitive by design. The many wellness options gave us opportunities for self care and personal growth. Restaurants, food and musical entertainment satisfied all our senses.

Breakfast deal was not communicated to the hotel and a daily discussion to try to resolve never happened. So for $50 per day per person was a total $300 loss in value to us. Very disappointing.

Amazing ariceture and location. The hole hotell is a like a mussuem. Its very expencive with everything for food to the room but worth visiting.

We did had some guest during our stay and we did had a very expenciv lunch and had a good time but everytime somebody just wanted to go to the bathroom or out on the street the staff bacame quite rude to them and also tried to throw them out even me as a guest. This was not nice and all off did get another experience on the hole visit.

Amazing vibe, and friendly staff. Welcome, cleansing was so refreshing with shamman cleaning your vibes the mayan way. Love the aesthetics. Looks similar to the photos. The jungle room had an amazing pool outside. Worth every penny. Amazing beach service with setup. Perfect sunset and sunrise spots. Check-in and check-out were very smooth.

Little expensive but it's a high-end resort. Be prepared for the night with no power, its a candle light room night. Its a unique experience.
