Location

They do not allow checked bags or late check out so you have to leave right at 11:00. I had a late afternoon flight so I wanted to go to the beach until noon but I could not because they don't hold bags all I had was a backpack. If I had known this I would have just booked an Airbnb because they provide more value otherwise, booked the hotel so I could have hotel amenities like bag check or late check out which they don't offer.

We are from Nairobi, Kenya and we booked the Riviera Suites as we wanted accommodation near the Miami Convention Centre. To our shock, the hotel is like 3 minutes' walk to the convention. This was very convenient for us. Another shock was the room we got. It had a very comfortable sitting area, an equipped kitchen all very good quality kitchenware. The bedroom is awesome. Very spacious with two wardrobes so sharing was easy as each one of us had space to keep our clothes and personal effects. The bathroom is also very spacious and the whole place is cleaned everyday without fail. The Hotel is also surrounded by supermarkets and many restaurants and is also very near the beach. The cost is also something to smile about. The staff are kind and helpful. Let me also mention that when you send an email they respond immediately and this is a sign of efficiency. Unfortunately, we didnt visit the beach because of work. We will definitely book more days next year.

We loved everything about the Riviera.

The hotel's location is fabulous! They provide beach towels, complimentary breakfast, and coffee—though not every day. P.S. Marvin is the best employee! He does absolutely everything, and whenever he has a day off, things just fall apart—no coffee, no organization. He’s incredibly sweet and friendly. Truly a standout!

When we arrived, it was already 11 PM, and we guess the hotel had given our room to someone else. We ended up with a different room, definitely not a Superior King Balcony. The room was small, dirty, and broken. The balcony door couldn’t be opened, the safe didn’t work, and the air conditioning was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. Luckily, they changed our room the next day, and it was a big improvement.

The service was nice, the hotel was clean and the location was walking distance to the beach inly 3 blocks and to major stores restuarants and attraction on Collins street

They were fixung up ghe hotel in the back but I truly understand that in order to fix up you have to tear up i have a home & I understad it was just the timing that we weree there they were fixing up the hotel. I am just being truthful but the hotel was very nice & clean and Im sure when they are completely dine remodeling it will be top notch

Stunning location, on the less rackety side of the beach, clean room with lots of space to move around. I liked that their showers and sink had full sized products instead of small individual travel sized ones, it’s much more environmentally friendly. I also loved the fact that there was a rooftop pool and lounging area, there was a nice restaurant Nogal downstairs with a bar and complimentary happy hour. Their fruit juices were also fresh and delicious. Even the lobby and outside patio were so beautiful and relaxing to take a minute and sit if you need to. And last but not least the walk to the beach was nice and quick.

My shower didn’t have a door, the glass covers halfway only, parallel to the toilet, but where you get out would get so wet no matter what. I had left a towel for my feet when I get out only to step into a wet towel every time. Just a poor interior design choice.

The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Beach was 5 minutes away, I love Cafe Americano and that was 5minutes away. Lincoln mall was 9 min away walking. Our suite was more than we expected done in line with the art deco theme. I booked through booking. Com but I found out later the price on their website was comparable. Very good stay.

The restaurant was pricey but so is everything on South Beach. We had the option to prepare our own meals because everything we needed to cook was there.

Great location few minutes walk to the beach in a straight line , rosy at reception was very kind , as well as her colleagues , she gave me an earlier check in too, they provide beach towels , and I think sun beds or chairs too, room decor was very nice and comfortable, bed is big and comfortable too, rooms are spacious showers need some work though but not too bad. Security deposits is only 1 dollar to keep your card details

The drain in the shower was taking forever to drain the water which is very annoying and defeats the purpose of shower to get clean but I guess if I told them they would have solved it on the spot , but I only had 1 night only

Loved our stay at this hotel! Great location—quiet but just a short walk to the beach and Ocean Drive. Everything is within walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. I stayed here for my birthday, and they surprised me with a bottle of sparkling wine, a gift, and balloons—such a sweet touch! The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony. They also provide beach towels and have a beautiful outdoor patio with a bar and restaurant. Complimentary cocktail hour from 5–6pm was a nice bonus. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I really liked the reception staff, very empathetic and always solved all the issues. I liked the location of the hotel, across the road from the beach in 5-6 minutes walk, beach towels were given out.. I had an iron, a small refrigerator, which was important for me, a very comfortable large bed., but a very noisy air conditioner. I asked for cleaning on request, so as not to be disturbed once again. Breakfasts were organized in another hotel from 8 am, across 2 streets, but it did not bother me.

This hotel is beautiful! it encompasses three buildings in one of the best locations in SoBe IMO. We stayed in a great spacious king suite and extended our stay for several more nights. Loved the design. If you're traveling by car there's a private parking garage across the road for about $40/day. Livia and Rosy were most welcoming and kind not only to my husband and me but they also adored our two rat terriers. This is a super pet-friendly property...free dog treats all day in the lobby and no extra fee, just a security deposit. Very rare and much, much appreciated! The four of us are truly grateful for the service and room upgrade. Thank you so much!!! We will be back.
