First day breakfast was great, plenty of choices and was fresh ! Thumbs up to the young guy that was working that section ! Second day was terrible!

Bottom of entrance door had a gap about an inch high ( which concerned me due to snakes and insects coming inside ! Last day we were there plenty of food on bar asked the lady working if we could get plates , ( my mom is 83 so I just take her plate to the room) so as I started to fix a plate the lady just stepped in front of me and took all the utensils off the bar ! She was the most unpleasant person like she hated her job, she could have and should have let me at the very least fix my mom something to eat, we were staying there due to a family member having surgery, I just have never felt so disrespected by anyone in the retail business!

The overall price was a good value. The breakfast was great. The staff were very polite and check in and check out went smoothly.

The room and property needed some repairs. WiFi was poor at best. Hallways and stairs were extremely hot. It was under current renovation. That said, I would go back only after renovations were completed.

It was so very nice..I love the room ..the atmosphere was so pleasant and the person who was working John was very very wonderful...he was so sweet ..I wish more people that work with the public would be like him..he has a great attitude and personality.I am very sure that I will be visiting there again.

Nothing I didn't like ..I loved it

This is a very convenient location for anyone traveling on I-40 and/or visiting the Hickory Furniture Mart. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast also offered more substantial fare than many hotels. Besides the usual fresh waffles, they also offered other hot foods such as sausage, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, and grits. The person checking me in, Don, was also extremely friendly and welcoming.

The only annoying issue I had was that there were no directions or guide to the TV. The only way to find a channel you wanted to watch was to scroll through the channels. The TV picture was very crisp and clear, but I was unable to figure out how to enter directly a channel number because it was in a XX.X format. There was a TV channel guide in the welcome binder, but it did not appear to match the channels that were showing up on my screen. If that's the only thing I can complain about, though, that's a pretty minor detail.

Easy access from I-40. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

It appeared that all the cleaning staff did was make the bed, ensure clean towels were in the room, and emptied the trash cans. The floors were dirty, the bathroom sink and counters were dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned.

I have stayed at alot of hotels in my 30 year construction career. This was by far the quickest most efficient checkin I ever had. The man at front answered my wifi questions very quick and was informative and very polite. The breakfast was ok but the room was clean bed was comfortable and I just can not describe how polite and very friendly man at front desk waS. I will be recommending this hotel location to all my business associates and family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I felt like I never left home. Will Putnam jr

That y’all robbed my money they booking and I never got my refund for the payment the hotel told me I would cuz when I showed up they told me it was canceled

Honestly we were going to to stay at the Wyndham baymont hotel down the road lady at front desk was not only disrespectful the first moment we walked in Lorilie was even more disrespectful when she came back in to get us a room. Quality was so nice and respectful I appreciate that more than anything! Rooms are big and need to be updated but comfortable and accommodating! Thank you

Microwave did not work

Don that works the front desk is Awesome! I am a travel nurse, Don makes the check-in process fast and easy, always has my sign in paperwork ready when I arrive so I can check in fast after working my long work shift.

I liked everything about the check-in process and the room, room is clean and bed is comfortable.

I never used the wifi or tried the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. The room was more spacious than most motels I've been to. The vending machines were all over the facility, you don't have to walk far for ice or drinks. The staff was friendly.

If the pool was open I would have rated them higher.
